Delicious Steak! I enjoyed the Fillet with a side of fried artichoke and it was superb. The staff and ambience is just perfect. The wine list is one of the best that I have seen in Florence.

We didn’t have a reservation, and they still accommodated us when they opened. EXCELLENT Steak (so good you want to take the bone home with you as pictured here), sides, dessert, wine, ambience, and service. Highly recommended this to Americans visiting Florence to celebrate a special occasion.

Such a great experience from start to finish. Staff remembered I had made a reservation several weeks ago from Singapore and warmly welcomed us. We were given pick of where we would like to sit (unlike other restaurants which were quite rigid). Servers had great knowledge of the food and wine they were serving and each and every one of them friendly and polite — I felt like I could be friends with any of them! Decor was beautiful (I have a weakness for rattan weave chairs). Food was to die for — I was looking forward to a good steak here and I found it. I overheard some patrons comment that the steak was too “blue”. But I was happy the way it was. Thank you for a lovely experience in Florence!

Excellent food of great quality! Beyond tartare and Fiorentina are in my opinion their pieces❤️ Cakes made by their exceptional environment and super groomed! Staff super professional and friendly, a good meat restaurant in Florence, if not one of the best!

The staff is very nice.
It's a very basic hotel (bring the hair dryer if you need it) but cheap and clean and the location is great. Breakfast is okay, brioche packaged, biscuit slices and juice but it also costs very little.

Superb attention to detail from the architecture (note the Fibonacci neon sequence) and interiors of the restaurant (formerly an antiquarian bookshop from 1875) that offer an elegant but not stuffy atmosphere for a date night or group dinner. I especially loved the classy cocktails at the entrance before sitting down to the main start, which is quite naturally their steak. From the main dining room, you can capture glimpses of the open kitchen, steam from the carbon grill and chefs tirelessly working on lunch or dinner service, gotta appreciate the transparency. Steak is presented first on the menu, you have ample choice with Chianina, Wagyu plus tasting multi-person menus. The anchovies and butter are spot on as well as ALL of the contorni, especially the creamed spinach and potato with truffle. Wines are also quite notable, lovely selection of reds and bubbles (visit the wine wall) and the dessert cart is the icing on the (many) delicious cakes. Get the torta della nonna and cheesecake. I will be back, or rather I may just move in. Well done Matteo, Simone & team!

Family room ok. Location very central but for the night rest a disaster. Since it is very warm and the window remained open, 24 hours of noise never again the hotel. Parking 26 euros a day already expensive. The city is a dream.

I slept there for 4 nights. I was looking for a cheap but clean place, I can say that it met my expectations, obviously always keeping in mind how much you pay. The only one against the high presence of mosquitoes, I would recommend to the operators the purchase of mosquito nets, expense to be amortize with the savings on the tint of the walls since the previous guests had fun crushing them.

I don't know about the other rooms but ours was like a room you would see in a boat or a train. Walls where dirty, as if to add to the whole theme, the toilet was I guess ok very basic, shower curtain that sticks to you and all. Generally the feeling of our stay was. "you are in florence, shut up and give us your money. "

Not a very nice hotel experience overall… We changed hotels after night. Inconveniences galor except for very kind hearted hotel clerk/receptionist. Wi-Fi non functional in room, broken shows door area, elevator functional only from second floor, etc. Complete waste of money. Unable to recommend this hotel to anyone.

In booking it says Italian style but it is the biggest disappointment. Book with private bathroom and 2 beds When I arrived I got another which I refused and the Q asked me to charge more. In the end I got one with shared bathroom. No curtain in the shower, it was always flooded, there was no to dry. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The only good thing is the location near the Duomo and the train and bus station.

Great as location, 2 min and six in the old town.
Spacious rooms with a very small bathroom here, but very, very poor. Not even a TV. Then the bathroom with a shower with a curtain and no edges on the ground.
As for the collection what about. All Preambalato. Croissants, cheese triangle, a single portion of jam (what happened to you, not that you could choose the taste), a small cube of butter, two monoprzioni of biscuits. Coffee, milk, cappuccino at the vending machine.
The room is very small, without windows and without nor a small basket where to throw the paper of the breakfast.
In Exchange very courteous staff.
I certainly didn't recommend it.

Located in the central area (5 minutes from the Duomo), nice room, quite large with bathroom, the latter not irresistible.

I don't put zero stars because you can't.
Then the only good thing I have seen is that the place is almost downtown and so it is very close to the monuments and museums.
Otherwise we do not talk about it as soon as we entered the room we paid 54 euros to not even have the bathroom in the room while to have it should pay 65 euros.
As soon as we got into the room we found it very shabby there was only a bed and a window facing a wall, yes smells like sewer as soon as you open that bathroom window We don't talk about impracticable shower only one roll of toilet paper and then it was also Dirty.
Not to mention the breakfast a brioche, an orange juice and a cup with which you could get some coffee or other drinks that did not know absolutely nothing.
In the end I recommend it first for the price that I think is exaggerated for rooms like that and then I do not recommend even to spend more than one day because the bed was hard and with the pillows even harder recommended for a single night.
I think it's the last time we've come.

I would put zero stars, horrible place, stinky, small, lousy breakfasts.
The rooms are small, no TV and no hair dryer (already so if they put towels) stinks of sewage, with a window that faces a wall where there is another stink, also you have to pay €15 (in addition to the reservation made) for the bathroom in the room where, there is no shower but A bar with a tent, of course it stinks, plus you have to pay €6 for the stay. In the €15 is included breakfast where you have a poor brioche, a cream of hazelnuts, a box of jam, butter and a cheese, with two packets of biscuits and a juice, coffee and hot drinks are taken from a machine where it sucks and ti v Hyenas only tummy ache, (they don't miss the Scazzo of fatre a decent coffee with a coffeemaker).
In short to avoid, perhaps the only positive thing is the location, it is very convenient to walk around.

Practical Room to sleep 2 nights. Room clean and very hot, too. Hotel person very very courteous.

Good location with budget accommodation.

The other reviews are accurate. This place is a bit of a dump. You will hate showering here and you won't feel like your room is secure.

1. Bedbugs! 2. They make you leave the key behind if you go out and you can easily get the wrong key when you come back. 3. Shared bathrooms that are so small that you can shower and go to the bathroom at the same time.

WORST hotel I've ever been. AC does not work and the rooms are very small. Worst of all is the opener. Very rude and not helpfull when asked something. Serously, keep looking for another place tot stay. There are plenty around here.

Not the best hotel. The beds are comfy. Bathroom is bad. No door between room and. Bathroom. Very loudy when late guests arrive. Breakfast is very bad. Instant coffee and prepacked, tasteless croissant. For this price, please go to another hotel. Probably in the southern part of the city, near Palazzo Pitti.

The friendly staff, very well located and clean as necessary.
