We stayed in this hotel for 2 nigths and I was glad to meet my fellow very friendly, hardworking kababayan, everyone was so nice even their boss, I highly recomend this place, very spacious rooms, clean and all the staff are friendly and very hardworking, proud to all my kababayan who work in this hotel.

The room was OK, nothing special; a trifle on the small side, if anything. The location of the hotel can’t be beaten. As well, we especially loved the old photos on the wall that showed the history of the place and the sitting room where we could have a drink in a really relaxed environment. Breakfast was nice but we can’t recommend the scrambled eggs. … A real feature was the Filipino staff — they were just fantastic and so willing to please. This was in contrast to the local staff, who were a bit stand-offish and didn’t give us much attention. Every time we spoke to them, we felt like we were somehow intruding on their valuable time. If only they had the same customer service ethic as the Filipinos …

Hotel is great, Super central location. However don’t expect to be connected to the outside world when you step foot in here. The Wi-Fi is absolutely horrible. Not only is it slow (which is no big deal) but it kicks you off every 5-10 minutes. Additionally, there is no signal in our 2 bedroom suite (room 416). Which is right next to the front desk! Unfortunately, Ive had to work while I’ve been here. Thankfully, I purchased a Data package for my cell phone or I would have had to stay elsewhere. I don’t think this caliber of Hotel which is more than $230/night should have such horrendous Wi-Fi. Which is my justification for the 2 stars. It’s 2018.

31C/88F! That’s how hot it was in our room (416) on the first night of our three day stay after the AC went out. With the weather here in Florence hitting 38C/100F and a wedding to attend the next day, we were hoping for some relief from the heat in the comforts of our air conditioned room. The staff of the Hotel Pendini worked tirelessly to fix the problem while making sure my family of 5 was comfortable. Coupled with the exceptional service, clean rooms, and superb location in the beautiful city of Florence, I give this place 5 stars! If we ever plan another trip through Florence, we’ll be sure to stay here again.

This was overall a great hotel. The room was large with high ceilings and had an excellent bathroom and shower. Everything was clean and nice. The included breakfast was delicious with a number of types of homemade croissants and pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, oatmeal, coffee's and juices.

Love the location on The Piazza Repubblica. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. They make a wonderful cappuccino. The room was small but clean and comfortable.

Great location for exploring the attractions, very central. Nice and quiet hotel, with attractive rooms, only serves breakfast but there are an abundance of restaurants for all tastes within minutes of the hotel.

It is interesting that the hotel has photos of Hitler and Mussolini parading in front of the hotel. Today, it is a good hotel with a lot of history. They have clean rooms and a great breakfast service.

Extremely hospitable staff. Allowed us early check in. The rooms are a bit small but the location is unbeatable. 10 minutes walk to the train station and right in the middle of many high end shops. A pleasure to stay here. Will book a again if we decide to come here.

It has a very good location, the breakfast is the most delicious, there is a great variety, I felt very comfortable in the hotel, and something important, it has a safe. The system is with a chop and that helps to not have to carry a key. A very good hotel.

This is a terrible experience. I got a small room compare last year stay the same hotel with the same room rate. Very disappointed this time. I had great time last year, so I decide to come back against. Besides, we go a Room with very strong perfume smell. After few hours, it become strong smoky room. I have a kid, I can't believe hotel arrange this room. Please don't just say, sorry the room is full. You never know what you will loose if the customer is very disappointed.

This hotel has lots of character (our room was huge and the bathroom was spacious with great lighting) and the location couldn't be better. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Of all the hotels I have stayed in during my Italy trip, Hotel Pedini has been the best. Service, room and breakfast is amazing. Highly recommend.

Location was excellent, very close to the cathedral and the main palazzo, central to the main sights of the city. Room very comfortable, cleanand breakfast was generous. Lift was available to get to reception at the top floor. Room as spacious and a/c was ok. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in two different rooms here. Our first room on floor 2 was very small for our triple room. But with a very nice bathroom. After a day I asked if we could possible move into a larger room since I had noticed a couple around us were a bit bigger. They placed us into the family apartment, which is amazing. Two full rooms and an excellent amount of space for us. The bathroom had two showers even. No noise from outside in either room. Very very great service every time we've had to deal with the front desk, printing train tickets or asking about recommendations. The breakfast has been wonderful also. Our only disappointment has been no hard boiled eggs, just scrambled. The cappuccino in the morning even has a smiley face each day. The location is perfect for walking to any location around Florence and also for walking to from the main train station.

It's absolutely beautiful and very tastefully decorated. I totally agree with other guests who have stayed here. We were lucky to get the room facing the piazza. Every place of interest is just a walking distance. The staff is amazingly friendly and good. Breakfast is good. Location is 5 star. We enjoyed our stay.

This is my second stay at the Hotel Pendini, I have the most Beautiful room over looking Piazza Delle Republica the views are amazing, The Pendini is very centrally located with lovely rooms and all of the facilities you need as a traveler including iron and board available from Reception, A self service laundry close by or hotel laundry service if required, The breakfast is sumpious and plenty of cerials, Juice, eggs and Bacon and what ever you want to start your day of exploring the beautiful city of Firenze, The only thing to look for is if you are a light sleeper dont go for a room with a piazza view as the evening music is very loud and doesnt stop until around 1am, Aprt from that Pendini is a wonderful place to stay you could not ask for better, Oh and I have to mention the philipino staff working here are all very polite, Helpful and friendly the room maids and breakfast staff all included.

A fairytale stay in a fairytale hotel!
Our room was spacious with the frescoed ceiling. The staff is nice and helpful.

We visit Florence on 16 and 17 June 2016.
The hotel Pendini completely met our expectations, first by its position close to all the tourist attractions.
The room was very clean and well appointed despite its modest size, in terms of breakfast food was good and varied.
We enjoyed the coyrtousie of the staff and also it was very nice to take possession of the room upon our arrival around noon.
Finally, the hotel is located at walking distance from the train station.
Very nice would stay again without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Hotel Pendini. It is located in the center of the city but you notice nothing. Breakfast is very good and all staff give good service. The rooms are well equipped.

The room was very clean, in fact every part of the hotel was very clean and orderly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful along with the staff. Pamela and Marco were great hosts and very helpful with any request we had. The location of the hotel is perfect, and the price is very reasonable. When we return to Florence, this is where we`ll stay. Thank you Hotel PerdinI for enhancing our remarkable experience in beautiful Florence.

Excellent location, in front of Piazza della repubblica. The room is spacious and comfortable, the breakfast rich and abundant. In the area there are several restaurants and bars and shops of well-known brands. It is close to everything! Beautiful decoration. Reception staff is correct, but very serious. I really liked hosting here, for that reason, visit again to Florence, I would choose without doubts this hotel.

In a word the Pendini is a Hotel of category because it valued guest! I would add that before my request for a room a little more wide since we were 3, I immediately changed and also as client bonificaron me the amount for the type of room… I think I was clear

The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable. It is in an excellent location, easy to reach from the train station. Staff very friendly and attentive. The incredible breakfast. I would without a doubt.

Hotel Pendini is a great place to stay in Florence. It's location is perfect, within walking distance of nearly anything and not on busy streets. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast was very good. The staff was the best across the board of any hotel I've stayed at in over 10 years. All that at a very reasonable price, I'll definitely stay there again when I'm in Florence.

Hotel con muy buena ubicacion, a metros de Centro Historico, no tiene garage propio pero cuenta con buen servicio tipo valet, aprox euros 30 x dia, buen desayuno, personal correcto y amable. Si viaja en auto, estacione en Via degli Strozzi 2, suba al 4°piso (H Pendini) y solicite etiqueta de estacionamiento provisorio mientras vienen a recoger su vehiculo.

Excellent location, crazy charm, but you have to adjust the calefaction and include duvets, the sheets are places too low.

Superb location and excellent room. The service provided is an icing on the cake. This hotel building comes with a fabulous history, and the attractions in florence are easily accessible.

We had the most incredible visit to Hotel Pendini. Room was very large compared to other hotels we stayed during our trip. Great location and if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view to Piazza Republic, you will have the most magical experience of the city. If you're a light sleeper, bring a set of earplugs. Breakfast was delicious and offered something for every palate. We would be delighted to stay here again.

Our second stay here was as pleasant as the first. Location is wonderful, but the staff even more so. We appreciate their friendly yet professional interaction with guests. Rooms are very comfortable; breakfast is excellent. Hotel Pendini is our preferred place in Firenze.

The service was correct but… we had a quite bad surprise upon our arrival: the view from the window was completely blocked by an awful palisade, due to the façade’s renovation, and no other room was available. This may of course happen, but it would have been more honest to tell the truth upon our Internet direct reservation, as we would certainly had chosen another hotel! The small bottle of wine proposed as compensation was certainly not enough to stay four whole days with such a poor view.

I have stayed for 4 nights at the hotel Pendini in January. It was very pleasant and enjoyable time for me. Whenever I visited to Firenze, I always stayed here. The location is very centre of the city so it is quite easy and comfortable to look around most of the monuments of the city. The staffs of hotel were very friendly and helpful as usual. In addition the beauty of the hotel itself made me feel even happier. Grazie mille. Arrivederci. :) )

This Pension is the cutest and we were surprised by the large space! Perfect location, really close to everything, great shops, Duomo, right on the corner of large piazza, walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and the best part of Florence. The rooms were clean and spacious, a couple old stains but nothing dirty. Room service was great but overall my favorite part was the complimentary breakfast in the morning, best I have ever had, so many options! Cheeses, mortadella, hams, cereals, oats, yogurt, crossaints, juices, the service was very polite and upscale, offered capucchinos, or anything else we would want… best experience in Florence! set the bar really high for the following stays in different cities and nothing compared.

Located in the centre of town it's easy to get lost in the streets of Firenze yet find your way back to this hotel. Contrary to what the description says there is an elevator. The staff are attentive, friendly and eager to help. The room was clean and well appointed. No surprises at this hotel, we got exactly what we expected.

A delightful hotel with a big suite and so close to the special tourist places. The staff from Carlos the General Manager to the cleaning staff are so helpful, friendly and happy in their jobs. A team that knows how to satisfy its guests. Well done. I would stay here again.

Great location. Staff are attentive especially the waiter serving us drinks in the library. However speed of internet connection is poor and incompatible with a 4 star hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located right by the Piazza Repubblica. This is central to everything. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and looked recently refurbished while still retaining antique charm. The bathroom was large and modern. The AC was nice and cold. We had a triple and our room had two single beds and an additional two that could be made up (we only needed one). The included breakfast was delicious, with cold cereal, fruit, yogurt, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, juices, scrambled eggs and ham. The wait staff was warm and helpful and brought out delicious cups of cappuccino for us. The only "heads up" is: if you are sensitive to noise, ask for a room that does *not* look out over the Piazza. A nearby restaurant has live music that goes on past midnight. We were so tired it didn't keep us awake, but a light sleeper might prefer a quieter room.

Room was beautiful, had a great view of the square. Great value for the money. Also great service — came back one day to a sulfur smell in the room. Apparently had been cleaning the drains earlier that day. Had someone come up right away, advised us of what was going on and to run the water for a little. Smell went away. Very friendly. Also had a great continental breakfast, esp compared to that offered at other hotels along our travels throughout Italy and France.

Has just come home from a lovely 3 nights stay at Hotel Pendini. We are a Family of four with two children. We had a Family room with two bedrooms. Spacy, very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The hotel is placed in walking distance to just about everything in Florence :) The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Only thing I was missing is that there was no cooling box/refrigerator in the room — with two children and a lot of bottled water it would have been nice to be able to put it in a fridge, but that is a small thing. We will stay there Again the Next time we visit Florence :).

Quite noisy, but very well located between the train station and the main sights. Good breakfast, if you ask for a real coffee.

Was there in Jan 2014, beautiful room, friendly staff and great location, walk everywhere only regret is that we didnt stay longer.

25/01/2014 — This was a beautiful motel. My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and we could not ask for more. The room appeared to be recently renovated and was extremely large. The room had a huge bathroom and newly renovated. The room overlooked the square and during the day the view was beautiful. The personal on the desk assisted us with all our enquiries and were pleasant. My only complaint, which I did call reception at 1230 in the morning (the hotel could not do anything about it) was that the restaurant in the square downstairs played extremely loud music (and had a DJ with an extremely loud voice) which kept us awake until 130 in the morning). So if you do decide to stay here be prepared as the hotel can do nothing about this noise as it is not coming from their premises. I did request to change my room the next day but my daughter wanted to stay where we were so we stayed in the same room and put up with the noise. Everything about our stay was very positive.

Great location! This hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Everything is much closer in Florence than I expected from looking at a map. The room was great, staff was great and the breakfast was great. The staff is very friendly, they have maps and will gladly give you recommendations and directions.

Wonderful place to stay right in the center of Florence! The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself is great too: a characteristic Italian style and feel (don't expect Hilton style concrete rooms), surprisingly spacious and including a super Italian/French breakfast. Loved it.
