Placed in the center, clean, warm furnishings. Good food. Courteous and attentive staff. If you add that the places are beautiful and the eagles (mountain guides) very good to explain during the excursions…

We have just returned from our week, the first day at San Martino di Castrozza. We decided last summer to pass it to the Hotel Margherita, and the choice was happy: the Rigamonti family that runs the hotel is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the wellness-well-kept, with direct view on the Pale di San Martino, the food is excellent as is the wine selection. We were myself, my wife and two children of 5 and 7 years and this hotel is equipped with entertainment, impeccable service. Hotel highly recommended.

Structure that offers maximum relaxation to its guests, staff courteous and always attentive and helpful. I hope I can donate soon for another stay in this lovely Hotel in the mountains
The location is excellent, very good and top quality, the choice for dinner as well as the delicious breakfast. Spa very nice and intimate, there are also great herbal teas for relaxation

Expecting this holiday to be well 4 years… what can I say… the village and its paths are wonderful, they leave your mouth open and about this nothing to say. We expected the same from the part of the hotel and its owners. The approach between them and The customers is very detached and cold even putting a little uncomfortable… The first thing that made me shock, newly arrived, was the lack of a lift (something that has never happened in the other hotel, also because it does not respect neither people with disabilities or the elderly)
With regards to the food in the "buffet of vegetables" and the breakfast was not so abundant, and if you arrived 10/15 minutes later we had the certainty to find everything and ended up not restored. Instead, with regard to the evening as a sweet there was not much alternative but the usual things: cream caramel, chocolate pudding, and panna cotta. Also, the typical dinner was a disappointment! The bathroom in our room was tiny, especially the shower…
The TV is prehistoric, is that of our room and that of the "tv room" in common both to the cathode ray tube. In addition, there was also SKY in the room (advertised on the door but we have not seen even the shadow). The "WI-FI everywhere" in truth you couldn't connect to pops only down in the living room. To the one advertised I was expecting a lot more than I have disappointed big time!

We spent a week in this Hotel, but I was disappointed with the treatment of the holders, for failing to adhere to everything listed at the time of booking. Here is what is promised: * "Cuisine, with a rich and vital breakfast"
The breakfast is poor, if you came down with comfort, were The trays empty and moreover, once emptied, were not restored. * "4 excursions per week"
of these we made only 3 because the 4 was not in the program. * "Free admission to the Wellness area with the use of the Finnish Sauna with panoramic view, steam Bath and relaxation area with tea corner. "
of this even the shadow, if it asks you to make use of the Welness area, ask for an addition of € 5.00 per person for the use of the bathrobe, because it is not expected to go with the towel in the bathroom. Rich teas ever offered, in fact we have also paid for those few times that we have requested. * "Free hire of Mountain-Bikes for excursions of the magnificent, immersed in nature and in the fantastic woods"
The service was non-existent and without a bike, at least there has been listed on our arrival. * "CARD with a discount at the shop arrangement of the traditional products from Trentino, with FREE tasting of products top-quality Südtirol"
The card delivery was made, the tasting is always the same owners, with cuts of bacon, nothing short of surgery to encourage the Customer to contribute more and more.

The friendliness of the owners is questionable, if it were not for the kindness of the employees I would have put one star. The dishes are good, but the "rich buffet of vegetables" is much reduced as it is described by the hotel and if you arrive 5 minutes late you risk not to find anything. There is no ELEVATOR, which is unlikely for the laws of today, not only for the heavy luggage to carry, but especially for people with disabilities, given that it also lacks a freight elevator. The wellness area should be free for guests staying, but without the Towels/robes (which have a cost of 5€) you can't enter, (in many hotels you can enter the wellness area with the towel is in the bathroom). The bathroom in the rooms is skimpy, and in the common bathrooms, a bathroom for the disabled. In the typical evening organised by the hotel the grappa and coffee you pay when you settle the account. I conclude by saying that it will not stay there again and will not shared to anyone.

Excellent hotel, perfect service, ideal location. Services and reception of the first order. Recommended. Very good value for money.

The ability, kindness, experience and courtesy of all the staff members of family Rigamonti and make you live a pleasant stay. The addition of fine cuisine and attentive to the needs of all.
This is the second time I write for this Hotel. Because whoever deserves it all gratified even several times. It is treated the better but not so brash; pampered in an environment that looks like yours, indeed, I wish!

Highly maintained and run really smoothly. We had a really great week thanks to such professionalism, courtesy and high quality of service and restaurant service. The hotel is ideally and invantevole views of the Dolomites. The Spa is a gem and allowed us to relax and regenerate after skiing in a unique way. I was at the Hotel Margherita in March with lots of snow and ski slopes. It was a fantastic stay in all respects. Our room, room 208 on the second floor, a Family suite, really beautiful, extremely clean and spacious and bright spaces. Common lounge/bar area where we did often an aperitif before dinner is very cozy and comfortable. It exudes relaxation and timeless comfort anywhere. Excellent service in the Hall, but this is a feature of the whole structure. Wellness area on the third floor is very nice and with a magnificent view on the Dolomites, seems to touch them with your finger. I hope to return again next winter. Congratulations to the family Rigamonti, try this Hotel, in our opinion the best value for money in San Martino.

We were guests at this magnificent and cosy Hotel last winter.
We were absolutely delighted, lovely rooms with a unique view, clean and sublime cuisine, presentation and quality everywhere, very rich buffet and well groomed.
Wellness area with beautiful view of the Pale di San Martino in the Centre of the country. Many services included in the price are all very valid and satisfactory, magical excursion offer snowshoeing.
Will definitely be back, probably in December, thanks to the owners, very friendly and professional, see you soon.

Warm and sweet as honey! agreeable. Indeed wonderful, in the Centre of San Martino di Castrozza, you are pampered at 100% and you sleep. The restaurant just so genuine and tasty.
The Wellness and relaxation area lovely. Staff at the highest levels.
Highly recommend and I will return as soon as possible in this oasis of peace and relaxation.

Central location, no elevator. Hotel uncared for, or at least, not recently renovated. Is outdated. Tiny room for three beds that we had. There are also quadruple rooms on two floors much more comfortable (if you're into four). For us it was very uncomfortable. Original vintage anni ' 70. Electrical system not up to standard. Television with sky included. Cleanliness is good. Room inconvenient. Cuisine: really. Poor raw and cook little able. At breakfast we had dried buns the day before. For four days we preferred to dine out for two nights. Entertainment in the hotel is good. Free parking. Owners quite friendly and helpful.
All in all a hotel that seems conducted by someone who has no passion for this work and don't want customer loyalty. The property must be proportional to the area of trentino, where the average quality of the hotel is quite low. Forget then to have some nice services and great food with 65 euro per day. If any of you has been in South Tyrol will understand immediately the difference compared to trentino (of course). If you are going to ski, donot area: small disconnected and with few runs. San Martino di Castrozza, beautiful village montanaro, perhaps from their best in the summer, for day trips.
