Class hotel, price/performance excellent, dinner top class! Very well maintained, nice staff, good service! Completely satisfied. Always recommended!

Very recommended! Beautiful location surrounded by greenery 15 minutes from the center of Merano along the Sissy trail. The welcome of cleanliness and maximum availability of breakfast and fantastic owner always attentive to the needs of the guests. Surely we will return with immense pleasure!

From the centre it is only uphill to the hotel. As a cyclist, you should be aware of this. Without ebike very arduous. The hotel compensates for the journey. VERY nice hotel staff. A wonderful (but cold) pool to relax in. Great dinner/breakfast. There is nothing to complain about, only that one night is far too short. How to come back!

Very friendly and nice hotel a very nice lady the boss, always quietly fully dressed and very open and nice. As promised, we will stop by the next trip to South Tyrol. Animals are also welcome and nothing has been heard. Only parking is such a thing.

A friend and I visited the Hotel Anatol over the Pentecost weekend. We are both 17, so we arrived by bus. If you take the "Südtirol2go" app, you can easily manage the journey through the branched alleys, even by car. The hotel is very nice, we had a standard room with breakfast and both were not to be criticized. However, since we are still a minor, we were treated like children. While everyone else was allowed to choose their seat in the morning, we were forced to sit in the middle, where we could be kept in mind.
In addition, expired bus tickets were given to us on the day of departure! And we didn't get any remaining money back at the bar! (No, it was not automatically charged to the room).
And those who need working Wi-Fi should not rely on that of the hotel.

Conclusion: A nice hotel in a quiet location, but under unfriendly management.

A 3 * at the price of a 4 the most: size of the room & environment, hence the score on 5 least: If you look for the comfort and services of a 4 * Hotel, go your way apart from the chaotic reception, the maid returned to our room 2 times after the check in, we missed: kettle to make a tea or coffee, a bottle of water welcome to minima, slippers, bathrobes, extra pillows, products in the bathroom (endowment of 4 shower caps anyway! )
In short all these attentions that you find everywhere in this type of establishment but not here… d or disappointment we came for a wedding: "no problem you can go back to the time you want" the person just forgot to mention that the door would be locked and that there will be no one!
You have to call the telphonne number written on the door, so a hint, return before midnight otherwise do not forget your phone, at the risk of spending the night in the parking lot!
What to say about breakfast… nothing extraordinary, at 9am the buffet was almost empty we will not return this was our worst experience of seasoned traveler.

Large rooms excellent food. Very friendly staff.

In this hotel we spent 5 beautiful days. We have never experienced such family care, especially by the owner. Dinner is top. We are happy to come back!

We spent a week together in the Hotel Anatol. The room was renovated and very well equipped. Although there was a switch for a air conditioning, however, was only the bathroom and not the bedroom is air-conditioned. The Breakfast service was very unloving (cheese at the piece as thrown, Büchsenobst) and it was almost every day at another table. On the last day is then the heater failed and you could have a beautiful Kneipp cure: take cold showers. In this respect, we this Hotel is not recommend and no more visit.

Great hotel, great location, and a talented chef, beautiful rooms, very clean, great mountain views, hope to return, I'd recommend it, go for it.

Rarely worse usual. Small room, often no water, when the vineyards are irrigated. Rude management and poor Service and the food is 08/15 Never more.

Me and my girlfriend have us in the winter of 2011 bought a GroupOn coupon for this hotel. For summer 2012 one has stalled so long us upon reservation, until they "Unfortunately" had to tell us that the hotel is fully booked until the end of the year. So we booked directly for summer 2013. Approximately 7 days prior to arrival then the hammer, that our reservation had to be cancelled "Unfortunately" in the short term.

Have been several times in the Anatol hotel and can recommend it with best conscience. The House is situated in an idyllic setting of vineyards and apple orchards. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Food breakfast and dinner are plentiful and very, very good. The service OK. One is in 20 min on a really nice walk in Merano. All in all a real refinement.
Looking forward to my next visit.

I (51) was in April 2013 with my wife 4 days the Anatol. We had booked a junior suite and were impressed by the rooms in every respect. There were suppose to set things at toilet flushing and with Wi-Fi, which was promptly done. The half board was surprisingly lush (partly seven courses in the evening, morning Prosecco) and also qualitatively satisfactory.
The service was exemplary. The location is quiet and yet it is in 10 min walk in the city. Car parking is not an issue (if necessary the reception that cares).
We were therefore very happy and explicitly recommend this hotel.

We were last weekend in Merano on holiday at the hotel Anatol. We had hotel voucher holiday plus (Note: it is mandatory to book half-board – for the room is free just then. ) In the case here with about 45, 00 EUR per person unfortunately quite high).
The hotel itself is in very nice condition, the reception area, as well as the corridors and the rooms are clean, tidy and very nicely designed.
The 5-course were always very good menu and breakfast. The staff is very friendly, but for us (we are between 20 and 25) something to overly friendly — we are otherwise accustomed ;-)
The hotel is 15 minutes walk away from the city centre, the city can be reached via a beautiful walking path.
Bottom line: Recommended, clean, friendly — so be it.
