It's a great place to go.
Calling it an inn is absolutely reductive, especially for the presence of a state-of-the-art winery. I made the visit to the cellars and dinner with tasting. The quality of the wines produced thanks to the surrounding vines and others scattered between the pachino area and Mount Etna is excellent. I recommend the tasting combined with the dinner because you will be able to taste dishes expertly combined with their wines, thanks also to the expert advice of Rocco, very prepared head of the sala that will accompany you throughout the journey. The quality of the kitchen should not be underestimated. Great reds.

Wonderful place, a great retreat. All the staff are delightful, accompanied by great food and of course wine! Rocco kindly gave us recommendations for day trips and where to eat, all of which were brilliant. These combined with a bit of rest and relaxation by the pool resulted in a wonderful trip. Thank you all for having us!

Go to a place that produces and sells wine and you need a white wine of very poor quality, too cold, without a container to keep the temperature, at this point ask a red and bring you another bottle that you would not buy even at €2 at the supermarket, then flunked.

Local and very particular with cellars in view, friendly staff very helpful, product very good and high quality, from oil to wine to the raw materials used by the chef. I would recommend it easily.

We visited the Gulfi estate for a wine tasting session combined with a taste of their cuisine. We can only described the experience as decidedly exhilarating. The only thing undecided was whether the Gulfi wines we tasted were better than Carmelo's cuisine or vice-versa. In the end we decided one was made for other and together they reached dizzying heights of excellence. A huge "Thank you! " to Carmelo and the cordial staff of the Locanda Gulfi. We are certain to be back.

The best place we stayed in Sicily. The service was perfect, room was very clean, swimming pool area was amazing. We had dinners in their restaurant and that was the best food we had. Perfect!

My girlfriend and I went here twice and will likely return. Locanda Gulfi produces high quality wines you can try at the restaurant or buy at the cellar. Either you want to just try some very good wine or enjoy the full dinner the place is worth a visit. The panorama of Chiaramonte Gulfi is just spectacular.

Amazing setting in the hills with far reaching views to the sea, the property from entering is exactly what you would expect of an amazing winery like Gulfi. The food was incredible with the tasting menu created by Carmelo Floridia and his chefs being a mix of light fresh flavors with amazing profiles, the pasta, seared tuna was incredible, all the tasting menu was with accompanying Gulfi wines and the whole experience was highly enjoyable. The service and knowledge of the food was excellent also, we will definitely return.
