We have stayed at this hotel previously but disconcerted by some of the negative reviews we had read prior to our stay. Happily, we found none of them to be applicable. The hotel was still smart, clean with beautifully maintained gardens. Yes, it's not an ultra modern building that could be anywhere in the world! It has character, warmth and individuality. Our room overlooking the garden and pool was large and airy. The ensuite was spacious and the shower fabulous. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to assist whenever asked. Most particularly, the restaurant staff under the lead of Giovanni were exceptional in their efforts to satisfy any requests put to them by guests. I hope the hotel also retain their chef as the quality of the meals was fabulous. The beach area was well maintained and the addition of a beach bar was very handy. The location of this hotel is sublime with the beach adjacent to the gardens.
