A Wonderful Stay at Residence Fenicia!
We had such a lovely experience at Residence Fenicia! From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Rose, the bartender, was especially warm and friendly—always smiling and such a pleasure to chat with. The shuttle driver was also incredibly kind and helpful, making it easy to get around when needed.
The beach is just a short 3-minute shuttle ride or an easy 8-minute walk away. It’s located at the end of the path and feels peaceful and private, which we really appreciated. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained—clean rooms, a gorgeous pool, and a spacious outdoor terrace perfect for lounging and enjoying the view.
One of our favorite parts was the group of about 10 adorable cats that live on the property. They’re clearly well cared for by the staff and add a charming, homey touch to the stay.
Restaurants and bars are about an 18-minute walk or a 7-minute drive, so it’s close enough for convenience but still tucked away enough for a relaxing atmosphere.
If I had to give any suggestions, it would be to add a full-length mirror in the rooms, consider some fruit fly control, and perhaps install more street lighting near the hotel for better visibility and safety at night. These are small things compared to the overall experience, which was fantastic.
Highly recommend Residence Fenicia for a relaxing getaway with great service, kind people, and beautiful surroundings!

We have been to the Fenicia Residence several times and each time we know why we keep coming back:
First of all, you have to remember that this is not a four-star boutique hotel, but a Formula hotel, which works very well:
— A nice quiet area with a clean pool, a beautiful garden and good parking;
— Comfortable rooms with a bit hard mattresses (subjective feeling) and beautiful views;
— Tasty breakfasts with enough choice for every palate, and caring smiling staff who always give us a positive start to the day;
— An easily accessible clean and well maintained dedicated beach with white fine sand, umbrella and sun loungers and a friendly lifeguard — by far the most comfortable spot on Simius beach;
— three interconnected beaches with a total length of approx. 2.5 km offer endless walks;
— the clean sea with a gradual entry into the sea without rocks offers excellent swimming for all ages;
— many restaurants and the town of Villasimius are easily accessible on foot or by car.
We have travelled all over Sardinia and stayed in various places on the beach and inland, but this place is closest to our hearts and our expectations.

This place has one of the most stunning views on the Cala of Villasimius. I could sit all day in the pool or on the terrace and just watch the coast.
The rooms are a bit outdated and we were a bit surprised that there was no salt, pepper or other kitchen utensils around. We stayed six days and had only one roll of toilet paper (the next is 1€ per roll).
But apartment from that it is really amazing!

We love tbis place. It’s by far the best location on the beach and this is our 6th time staying here. The owners are super accommodating and you can see they have great pride in their place.
It’s pretty low key but we love the minimalist approach.
My only wish is that they one day regain the rights to the path down to the beach as at times it’s a bit limiting to be at the shuttles schedule.

We absolutely loved staying at Residence Fenicia, without exception the team were wonderful and couldn't do enough to help us. Everything was spotless, the pool is wonderful and the beach is the star of the show — fantastic!
The only comment I would make — and this isn't the fault of the residence — is the noise. There's an exceptionally loud bar just a little way down the hill playing horrific Euro pop from 6pm until midnight, making it impossible to enjoy a pre-dinner drink on your terrace, or indeed get your children to sleep before midnight. This was a real shame because otherwise, this is a tranquil, relaxing place with beautiful gardens.

A very beautiful location with stunning surroundings. The pool area is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. The private beach area is outstanding, with a convenient shuttle bus service from the apartments.
The air conditioning unit in the apartment worked poorly. The bed mattress was outdated and extremely soft.

Very nice garden with beautiful views, good private beach not congested with free transport and very kind driver always available, good free parking for cars under the shadow, nice swimming pool.
Apartment very clean but without free housekeeping during the whole week, not free towels change in one week, soaps not provided, gas boiler in the bathroom terrible.
Air conditioning only in the living room not in the bedroom very warm during the night, furniture very old, very uncomfortable beds, bar service very poor in quality and availability (only from 8, 00 am to 8.00pm) with prices too hight in comparison to the service and quality.

We had a very pleasant stay at Fenicia towards the end of July, with temperatures reaching as high as 40 degrees.
The view of the sea and the beach that we enjoyed on our terrace and even from our apartment was breathtaking. The garden is gorgeous, the sea was spectacular, just like crystal.
The apartment was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We would love to come back!

I can only recommend Recidence Fenicia!
We had a lovely stay. Everything was just perfect.
It is not difficult to notice all the details and thoughts behind the place.
Nice pool, with space for everyone.

A wonderful garden with beautiful flowers and trees. Everything is taken care of.
The beach is very near with (most of the days) clear water. Very nice and not too crowdy. Some days a bit too windy, but that's nature :-) Very nice with the sunbeds and the umbrella following the apartment.
The poolbar had fair prices and they girls working there were very friendly.
The apartment (Hibiscus) was fine and very clean. Very nice beds. We enjoyed our private terrace a lot. It would have been nice with towel change twice a week.
The town Villasimius isn´t far away, however it feels far when the weather is hot. We recommend a car or at least bikes. But there are some restaurants nearby if you don't wish to go to the town.
The small supermarket in the beginning of the town (Nonna Isa) had a fine variety of groceries.
We really hope to come back to Fenicia someday <3
