Reception tried to charge double the amount for beverages I didn't order. As well spa was charged even if it should be included. Offered service like massage does not exist. Reception is unfriendly and does not know what to do. No shuttle/ no taxi / no towels/ no iron/ no service at all. Room is small. Wi-Fi is very bad. Almost impossible to work. Spa area is ugly. Not clean. Water for shower is not hot. Hotel looks all in all old fashioned and that there was no reservation since 1989. Parking costs 20 euro extra per day. Extra to well at the spa: 5 euro. Coke 4 euro. Standard of a 2 star hotel and prices like 5 star hotel.

The spa was downright disgusting and unhygienic. The whole hotel has its best years behind it. The temperature of the rooms is unfortunately centrally controlled. The Internet or WLAN does not really go. TV program is only in Italian on a TV of about 25 cm wide. The reception staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. At the end we had to check out drinks on the bill which we had not ordered. Also the spa that is included should have been charged, and each towel then again with 5 euros. The parking and the street in front of the hotel were not cleared. The park attendant looked at us 30 minutes before he offered us a shovel to free his parking lot. The Lord who controls the spa in the truest sense of the word can not be described, I felt like in the prison camp. Never again will we visit this hotel, Geaamteindruck and atmosphere catastrophic! The service in the restaurant, on the other hand, was very good and friendly, which was the only positive.

Nice location at top of Gondola. Good outside seating. Food not great, much better on other side of Bardonecchia. Toilets dirty.

Hotel is located far from the village, you have to take the car. The rooms are nice. But the amount they ask is too much for the services they offer. It doesn't deserve five stars. When I went with my fiance, they said there was no pool, gym, bar etc. But there are actually other expenses on the internet I don't say that. They should do less services but be well done. Instead they offer so much but they run poorly. I don't recommend it.

Stopped forma quick stick whilst snowboarding, bit pricey compared to other places.

Family with 2 young children, we were on the weekend, we had a very good thanks to the very kind and professional staff. Special appreciations to Francesca, person who anticipates the requests of the guests! The only weak point, the quality of the kitchen (especially lunch). We are also sorry because we want to return.

I was there in June and I have to say the place is great. Maybe the pool is a bit bad but otherwise it's in a lovely place that allows you to do a lot of walking. Good value for money and very helpful staff. Definitely going back.

A pleasant stay in a great personal hotel with little care, we could have a sandwich despite a late arrival at 11pm. However the road to go up to the hotel is hard in winter. I recommend going to stay there.

Great location view its location directly on the slopes. With rent ski and equipment and possibility of instructors directly on site. Clean and spacious rooms. Slightly expensive restaurant for both breakfast lunch and dinner but in the rooms there is a possibility to have the kitchen floor. Shuttle service from the hotel to the station very convenient and free until 7pm. 30.

I begin with the most negative one: the location. It's basically unreachable with your own car if Theresa is snow in the street. About service and rooms it's really good.

Great location. Close to the slopes and with nice indoor pool. Hard to get to the car… Unique Neo: entirely Roman/Neapolitan management poorly adapted to the level of the hotel. Canteen lunches and dinners. Beware of extras, you pay everything.

Bad Hotel to say the least. The worst I've ever seen. They make you the price and after you pay anything else. Cunning and geezers in this. Do not believe what they tell you by phone absolutely. Structure dirty and poorly cared for. They advertise the gym which has only 4 tools. Staff manipulated by a manager without education and rude. Bad man. After asking why we had to pay a different price from what had been done to us was able to block the transport "The only way to get off the mountain" and send us on foot for 7 km under the snow and at night at very low temperatures. Extremely risky because. We will take the necessary action. Turn around. I do not recommend anyone. Structures and people like that have to close.

Very nice, clean hotel. Fantastic location during all seasons. Breathtaking views. Indoor swimming pool is great too.

I stop frequently at hotel jafferau for a drink while skiing in Bardonecchia. Great service! Food is fine.

So many things to improve. The reception Lady poorly suited to the reception. A guest must be free to ask questions about your stay …
Breakfast not up to a 4 star. Rooms quite comfortable.

My husband and I spent this past weekend (2 nights) at the Hotel Jafferau buying a deal on groupon … what to say! We should have realized something was wrong when, by calling to alert our arrival, we said we had seen on the site that they had rooms available and were told that the rooms reserved for groupon were not those that you could see on the site. We had to leave the car down the road because the garage is free of charge, to reach the Hotel you have to be careful because you must cross the ski slope. Upon check-in you'll be charged 5 euro deposit for the room key.
We were placed in a room in which the bed was actually a sofa bed (but joking! A 4 star hotel makes us sleeping on a couch! ), but the most shocking thing is that the room is connected to another, this means that next door were other guests (in our case a family with two children) who appeared to be in our room since the soundproofing was guaranteed by a door. There were enough but very few minutes to figure out that the problem of the soundproofing was not only due to the dividing door but walls of plasterboard probably since we could hear the conversations of all neighbours, especially at 7 in the morning when we were hoping to get some sleep but we were woken up by neighbors who wanted to go skiing. Of course the sofa bed was uncomfortable! Satellite TV took very few channels and it was a very old and tiny tv, free WI-fi was free but with a bad signal.

It's been a relaxing weekend, the room are beautiful and the services is excellent. The people who work there are kind and Disponible. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. One of the best weekend ever.

Place symbol of the decline of the real hotel and a symbol of the crisis who suffer from the hotels.
The only exclusive point of merit is the location: magic and romantic at night.
I was there in the summer with my fiancee pe celebrate one year together, buying a "coupon" for a relaxing package with sauna and pool and welcome bottle of prosecco (never did). The discount later proved to be fictitious, because it was the price charged normally (89/night without breakfast).
The room which was supposed to be a double extra, proves a minisuite low-level: the bed was a SOFA BED with mattress base accordingly! At least I had a kitchen to prepare breakfast and dinner.
Relax zone: a putrid water pool filters and retainers, plenty of towels and children! entire families with kids jumping and jumping and yelling uncontrollably throughout the pool area and no control by the management.
The water was so dirty that in 1, 2mt did not see the feet!
I tried to go to dinner in the hotel restaurant, which stood at the end of a corridor of 5 minutes (it was very long, too) to finish in a relatively small room and served by only 2 waiters, only one of which was used, and an older man taking orders.
We sit down at a table, and got up saying to wait at the entrance that then they sit them. After 8 minutes (by clock) we checked with other people who still waited.

I stayed at this property last week, I had purchased a coupon at 79, 00 Euro per night. At the time of booking, I informed my coupons and I enquired to get to it; the receptionist told me that you could climb by taking the cable car and he informed me that the ascent and descent were free for guests of alberto. Also the hotel website says the same thing (Hotel guests can make free use of the ticket on arrival and departure). A few days before the arrival I called to ask for confirmation and I asked again for the service cable and nuovametne I was informed by the receptionist that the service was free of charge for hotel guests. Come to the steel cable, the staff laughed at me and told me that there was no agreement with the property and therefore had to pay the ascent and descent more bail. Most likely wasn't the first that fell in this trap view the cable operator's reaction. Arrived at the hotel we realize now that the staff (all of the East, nothing against this indeed very friendly) was totally improvised, absolutely not a trained and up to four stars. Give us the room, clean, very pretty I asked for an extra pillow which came only at the end of the day after yet another request. In the room there was a mini TV I only got two channels and not so satellite TV as listed on the website. Not to mention the cockroaches were found in the bathroom. Oh well we are in the mountains though.

I canceled a reservation only 2 working days prior to the stay and I offer by booking at another facility.

Just got give us a dirty room, give us a second room in the fridge we find cans of Coke opened.
The SPA that much declaimed is by no means a SPA, not working on steam, not working whirlpool; to have the sauna turned on you have to ask, and if you find the right employee, you'll be satisfied. To bathe in the pool there were headphones, so we had to use the plastic shower caps, the most amazing thing and drab is when we entered the elevator smelled of cigar Ash on the ground, and found the answer to our complaint was: "it's own smoking a cigar in the elevator".
At the restaurant, where the food quality is questionable but the staff, definitely not from 4 stars, is kind, we are greeted like this: "YOU are the ONES of the COUPON" — small brackets, we went to the jafferau with a coupon of a note home, received as a gift — then tonight you will eat this menu (if I wanted to sceglietre something else and pay out of pocket? ). I only hope to be capiotato at the wrong time, because if these standards, poor who we happen.
In conclusion is a place where they promise you paradise but they oscillate between purgatory and hell. The only comfort is the ski resort at 20 meters, but there are a thousand other places, much better and even cheaper.
