This resort is incredible! I spent two days there shooting a fashion campaign for Gioffre fashion. It is like a new world every 50 ft of shoreline! A dream location for weddings and parties. The staff treated out team like royalty! The breakfast was so amazing each morning! Best sleep I got my entire Europe trip!

We celebrated the wedding of our children at the Camin Hotel Colmegna. Even the consultation in advance was excellent! Although there were many questions on my part, the staff were always friendly and had a lot of patience.
On the ground, however, our expectations have been exceeded many times over. Not only the fantastic location, no also the loving accompaniment on this day made the wedding an unforgettable experience. We have never experienced a service like this at the Camin Hotel!

Rooms rather average, but a fantastic spot for sunbathing and swimming in the lake! Probably the best private lido we have ever seen. If you enjoy swimming in the lake, this is it!

A wonderful hotel to get married at (or just stay for a break! ). With large tropical gardens along the lakeside, and the bridal room /tower and terraces separate from the main hotel you can feel that you have almost exclusive use of the gardens. The staff are attentive and charming, the food superb — excellent Italian food and not in the slightest pretentious, just lovely flavours and beautifully presented. The management team of Lara and Enzo make you feel part of their family. Everyone who joined us at our wedding loved every aspect of the hotel, from the rooms, to the amazing breakfast, the 'beach', the location, and the dinners. This has to rate as the best hotel any of us have stayed at, and we'd love to return.

We spent a weekend booking with Smartbox. We received a free upgrade of the room, which made us stay in a delux overlooking the lake. Very nice Location, very nice also the outdoor garden, where there is also a sauna and various relaxation areas. Recommended.

Spectacular Hotel immersed in a garden cared for the smallest details. 100 meters and find the sauna. Another 100m the jacuzzi. Nice staff and great dinner.

Bad impression!
My partner and I today went to this hotel to evaluate it seriously as an ideal Location for our wedding day.
Assuming that the place is really beautiful and suggestive, the extreme beauty however does not pay the bad treatment that has reserved the person prepared to offer us the information useful.
He "welcomed" a Woman of middle age (I do not call her lady because even if she was posing as such with us was not for nothing) who provided us with two illustrative brochures and accompanied us to the door of the reception room, leaving us alone to wander the park s Enza obviously understand how we could use those spaces for the festive day. On our return from this solitary visit to the Hotel park, after waiting some time at the reception, we were joined again by this woman who mostly answered our questions saying that any information we would find on Brochure and, even more irritating, while "conversed" with us was also entertained with other people present in reception.
Then "Dear Madam" The question arises: if my partner had worn a shirt and a tie and I a suit the treatment would have been different?
Sometimes a bath of humility would do well at all; Place not even taken into account, rating: 0.

Great place… for a beautiful wedding.

Nothing can be improved. Everything is already perfect. The view of lake & mountains from our elegant room, gourmet food at the beautifully appointed restaurant, sitting areas throughout the tropical gardens, relaxing massage at the tranquil wellness glass enclosure, beach toys & floating dock… the beauty is matchless — — staff &service unsurpassed. Already marking the calendar for my return next September.

I had my wedding in this fabulous place on June 18th 2017. As far as the organization, I was a little concerned as I had to plan everything by email (I live abroad) and e. A. They missed replying to a couple of my emails, but at the end everything went well. Our room was simple, essential with a beautiful view and very clean. Breakfast was actually the best I think I have ever had so far: you can have fruits juices, yogurt, cereals, eggs and other cooked food, at least 3 types of crostata with jam, plain croissants, chocolate croissants, muffins etc…everything fresh every day. Also the waiter/waitress will prepare you cappuccino/cafe’ or whatever you desire right away. Dinner was delicious too, you might think it can be a little expansive, but the quality is excellent and I spent the same money for less quality/variety in the past. So I think prices are on average. The view from everywhere is breathtaking, all our guests told me that this was a dream place and everybody kept taking pictures. At 11.30 we had our ceremony up in one of the gardens and everything was prepared with extreme taste and attention: simple and chic like I requested. Right after we had the aperitivo in the bigger garden next to this one. The breeze from the lake and the shades from the trees were perfect and all of us enjoyed the food and the good time.

This little gem nestled in a tiny hamlet on Lago Maggiore offers a slice of heaven with friendly, impeccable service. Every inch of this historical building and its botanical gardens have been lovingly restored and integrated into making this hotel feel like a magical retreat. The restaurant offers a beautiful terrace on the lake for awesome sunsets and delicious meals.

Very beautiful resort. Is was here for a wedding and it was amazing. The food was wonderful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The location on the lake provides a breathtaking view continually throughout your stay.

Very clean room with pretty expensive lake view (€170 for two) but it's really the area that wants it. Service to the small care, the morning buffet and correct and the restaurant menu quite neat.

Gorgeous places we got married there great organization in place highly qualified personnel for everything from setting up external collaborators to lunch. All very good excellent preparation and impeccable service staff handled at most the intolerances of the guests highly recommended place not only for matrimani but for all occasions.

We were completely satisfied. In the Villa have all probably felt very. Wishes that have been placed in the past year, have been implemented in this year. Everything clean and well kept. Family run and friendly staff.

I spent two days relaxing at the Hotel Colmegna, situated in a lovely location.
The adjacent Park is beautiful, lush, original and tailored to the different needs of the guests.
The cleaning of the whole complex is perfect.
The quality of service is high.
I found it to be a fairy tale … especially at dusk … The relaxing atmosphere of the evening is addictive.
I would also like to thank all the staff of the staff for their kindness and courtesy.

I went to a wedding of a very dear friend of mine (so I don't know the prices) the place is gorgeous lakeside outstanding food really great place.

30 pasta with "Normal taste" : 14€! Rip off.

Very nice hotel, but beware I had a very bad experience.
There is a room that overlooks the road, to the rear of the building, I mean really on the road, you can almost touch the vehicles from the window. Even with the window closed means cars spend the whole night, and the lights through the curtains. In addition a compressor or this kind of machine turns on every 10 minutes in a close play. Frankly unbearable, I did close the eye of the night.
The next day, I went to claim, I was first offered a room in the village, 10 minutes from the hotel, bathroom upstairs, and not really the kind of room that I expected.
Finally, by insisting, still found me a room in the hotel, which was very good.
Note that this famous room 215 is charged at the same price as any other room.
The rest is very good, very nice Park, restaurant also very good, but the episode of the House was really very painful.

We stayed at the Chamberlain for Sunday Brunch, great hospitality, good food and quality. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely landscaping. Inside there is the opportunity to walk in the garden and enjoy the hot sun in front of a beautiful landscape. We will definitely stay here again.

We, me and my girlfriend, spent some days in this place. It's beautiful. The meals are delishes, the rooms — more or less — clean, the view amazing and it seems like all is ok. with the sensation of going there what an ex-employee told, we checked really everything! So we went there, spending some nice days out of town, out of germany in an actually cool place. BUT behind all this mascerade, you can see the truth: total overworked waiter who still try do a great job, pissed receptionist who start afternoon and stay there till late morning hours, a night porter who seems to be more dead than alive because of all the work — did he ever get a free day? my gf's sentence: omg! maybe I shuld start working here, look how much he losed — look his belt! in the morning a very nice young girl who still hasn't figured out how to use makeup. The cleaning-ladies are nice — to see when they are leaving. Not like the others you can see that they don't want to pretent being happy. Mr. Enzo, Silvano and the other giant (one of the almost all indians: india, sri lanka. ) do a great job. The giant, maybe the director, always with a nice and cool statement. But, sincerly, we asked ourselves: how it's coming? We are going to italy and what we find? almost just indians (nothing bad or in contra), you would guess in an italian company you will find italian people. Now, here the first language is english, or some of their languages ;) what to say about the owner, miss lara? nice teeth!

It was here that we made our wedding dinner, beautiful. Beautiful location, staff really friendly and professional, quality of the food quite good, now we are sure that all the reassurances received during the Organization were true. Good rooms with amazing views of the Lake.

We spent 8 extraordinary days in this hotel. The staff was very helpful with all big and small problems (transportation of 15 people from Malpensa Airport to the hotel at night required some organisation! ), the service excellent, the breakfast — a feast for young and old (from 3 months to 82 years), the environment very very beautiful, the noise from the few trucks on the street side tolerable, the railway was hardly discernible, and on departure we were given each a sapling of a palm tree from their own garden! Excellent knowledge of English and patience and politeness need hardly be mentioned. Recommended — without any reservation! The extended Ashboren family (three generations).
