Busy but beautifully lit at night.

A characteristic place of Milan, reachable also by Metro, from where the long Corso Buenos Aires begins, full of shops and clubs and very crowded especially in the evenings. In the car is not advisable to visit as there is little presence of parking in the area.

And a bastion built in the XVI century for defensive use the walled ramparts was constituted by a curtain of bricks underneath the sloping shoe on the outer ditch, with curbs and edges of flint and an embankment planted behind. Here, beyond the belt, the large square of the Lazzaretto was supported.

It is one of the very beautiful and historical squares of Milan. Accessible by tram 9 which leaves you directly in the square. The tram 9 leaves from the Central station in Piazza IV novembre. The square is not dispersive despite being in a metropolis.

In theory is a neighborhood of bars etc but I did not like much was in August and everything seemed pretty dead.

Historic bastions between Corso Buenos Aires and Corso Venezia. Traffic junction chaotic but the area of Milan is interesting, full of shops, restaurants and various venues. There is also the metro station (Red Line M2).

A very important crossroads for Milan, starts Corso Buenos Aires, the road that leads to San Babila. And then there is the district considered by now the gay district with very cool locals and restaurants.

Porta Venezia, built around the 1830 is one of the 6 gates of Milan.
Located in Piazza Oberdan is the starting point of Corso Buenos Aires on one side and Corso Venezia on the other.
Nearby are the gardens of Via p. P. In which you can walk, do running or visit the Natural History Museum.

I really like to visit this place.

Crossroad of main roads where is the easiest entrance into park directly to National science museum.

It was good place to visit n spend your time.

A small cafe, stop, have a snack and have a little rest.

It’s a nice place for walking and visiting around shops.

Gorgeous spot for pictures during the day time and also night time as it is beautifully lit at night!

I love this area of the city. It is the good living room of a house where one "receives" continuously. Full of life, it seems that at every step you can stumble upon the occasion of your life.

Park and metro line near hear.

The castles that helped surround Milan. Unbelievable to think that once there were also walls. Very busy area but also very well stocked with restaurants, fast food and shops.

Beautiful historical door, a curiosity and from 1842 until 1908 stood outside Porta Venezia (instead of the current Hotel Diana) The Baths of Diana, the first public swimming pool in the city and Italy.
Between 1923 and 1926 it was built under the square towards via Tadino the Albergo daytime Venezia, partially open until 2006.

An area to walk around and watch slowly.

Lot of decent restaurants are around.

Not much to see here, but good architecture.

This area is famous for shopping, having many international outlets for fashion accessories, try to walk through this street to find the shops.

One of the best and most important historic doors of the ancient city of Milan.

The door is artistically beautiful, majestic and well preserved.

Is a prominent city gate building on the busy Corso Venezia. Course it's not the most spectacular building in Milan, nevertheless has its place in architectural style. I start my journey day from Porta Venezia. Walked to piazza San Babila, enjoyed Corso Venezia and then arrived close to the "Quadrilatero" for some great shopping. So it's close to a good shopping area named Corso Buenos Aires.
