Bad: The property is very dated, hasn't been refurbished in decades. Worst of all, the air conditioning was broken. We were told it would be fixed, but it was not. We tried to sleep with windows open, but the road noise was deafening. Breakfast selection is decent, but quality of products is very poor for a 5-star hotel. Except for the night manager, the staff are arrogant and standoffish. Good: The night manager was very courteous and professional. He let us see three other rooms until we found one with working air conditioning. He let us use the room without moving our things from the old room. The hotel's gardens and pool area are very nice. The hotel itself is very beautiful inside and out.
We spent 3 nights there, the facilities were beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, the view of the bay is amazing, expensive but worth it. (What I did not like: I did not like the linen, you need good walking shoes it is a walk uphill, the electric outlets did not take my international adapter so we used their’s and then connected our’s then my wife’s “curling iron” with a US plug or the phone charger)

I highly recommend this hotel as despite the 5 stars declared, it looks very simple… Gisto to make you understand, moored my little yach of just 56 meters, I immediately ran to order at the internal bar a bowl of Cristal of the ridiculous price of 7.000… bazzecole in comparison to the lunch I ate previously! After that I also ordered some oysters and caviar and of course another champagne bowl, which from the price sincerely is as if they had offered it to me, (thanks again! ). What about then, after the bowl with my four escorts I did a part of golf and I went back to the mini-yacht brought by my janitors on a cot… Finally we sailed in the direction of Costa Smeralda!
