Excellent structure and really friendly and qualified staff.

Centrally located hotel facing the port, noisy and busy dirty area.
Around even worse. After 8 pm everything closed, dining is impossible and the area becomes poorly frequented.
Prostitution, drug dealers and people not recommendable.
Poorly organized hotel, booked through booking they make us skip breakfast and parking for no reason.
Room presented without towels and with air conditioning blocked at 23 degrees that to be turned off must be required the intervention of the reception.
Bad breakfast. Restaurant prices from how we were in Venice.
Only applause the girl at the reception who solved part of our problems on arrival at night after 10 hours of travel with motorcycles.

I absolutely recommend it for the location and rooms, less for the restaurant if, like me, you are commuting. Precise, The dishes are made well and presented well but in a month that I always regularly come the same three appetizers, three first and three seconds would tire anyone.

At the moment only highly recommended. Restaurants and bar closed. It would have been just correct to specify this at the time of booking. I pay the price for a full service, but due to Covid-19 was not provided. After a long day, I just don't feel like looking for a restaurant anymore. Receptionist but very nice and helpful. With his help, I was able to use at least one delivery service.
Nevertheless, 4* price for 2* performance.

Great hotel for a good price, the restaurant have a good any sometimes the service is very slow.

Good hotel with large rooms and located close 2 ferry terminal with a 10 to 15 min walk to city center. Good breakfast. Offers lunch and dinner service we did not try.

It's a great hotel, just across the ferry terminal. Staff is friendly, they helped us in getting to airport the next day. Food is good too, a lot of vegan options. Rooms were big in size from European standards and sparkly clean. It's highly recommended for a short stay, for a longer stay you might want to explore the city a little bit as it is a little too international, but all the more comfortable.

We stayed two nights before joining a cruise and really enjoyed it. The Volobus from the airport stops very near the hotel and provides and inexpensive way to get from the airport. We received a warm welcome and had nice room with a balcony and great views of the port. … It’s around a 15 minute walk into the old town but there’s a metro station around 5 minutes away too. We both slept well and enjoyed our nights here The only downside was breakfast. The array and quality of food on offer is good but the coffee is from a vending style machine and it’s either the coffee or milk or both but the taste wasn’t pleasant. Also be sure to be sat at breakfast on time since the stroke of 10h will see the staff rush to clear everything away.

Located on the road near the port and at the mouth of the highway. It is a modern hotel with the restaurant inside. The rooms are clean and modern in design. There is a minibar but you will have a free service with kettle and herbal teas. What's special, the room contained a gym tool. The buffet was of the most classic continental, with addition of local products such as flatbreads and pesto.

I've got a long list of what I didn't like but let's start on a good note! Breakfast was very good. €15 for a nice breakfast with real DIY orange juice. What I didn't like: — ParkingYou have to leave your car in a parking which is dirty and then drag your luggage out and walk along the sidewalk because parking doesn't have direct access to the hotel's lobby! — Clogged bathroom sink. This one is a clear sign that the hotel doesn't care. Because this problem could be easily reported during housekeeping and fixed — Shower with no curtain to contain the splashes Again — as I've seen it in other hotels in Italy — the curtain rod is installed but for some reason they decided the curtain is not really necessary — Smelly bed and bedding — LocationLocation is what makes this hotel good and bad simultaneously! If you want to use the port then great it's in walking distance otherwise there is nothing interesting about the location with the craziest traffic/driving style you could imagine. Footnote: This hotel is under IHG license but managed by a different entity.

The hotel deserves 5 stars for services, reception, cleanliness and care in detail. It would merit instead 1 star for the internal parking service at the cost of 12 euro per day not accessible to people in wheelchairs. The internal parking is also equipped with a seat reserved for people in wheelchairs, but always unduly occupied. The serious fact is that the parking is not connected to the hotel and the path to exit from the parking on foot provides steps or a descent from the parking lot steep and dangerous, completely inaccessible if you travel alone without escort. The room for the disabled is very nice, well cared for, clean and elegant. The presence of very important security details is excellent. Double peephole at the room door, telephone in the bathroom and alarm button adjacent to the bed. Breakfast service very abundant and of good quality!

Shabby framing, view of the room on a concrete site, very very difficult to access parking, no possibility to put heating in the room so the shower exit was rather cool as well as the rest of the evening in this room; No peegblacks to warm up! No access to French television! for a 4 star not top at all! The breakfast was very good.

Clean and good location if you are travelling in Acchina, the hotel has ample parking for a fee. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the lady in the bar.

Rooms sufficiently large and clean but not very bright and dark, both for the choice of furnishings and for the little light that comes from the outside (the elevated and the surrounding palaces cover much of the view).
It was a very good breakfast.
Hotel in a convenient location for those arriving by car: near the motorway, in front of the ferries. The center is reached on foot in half an hour even if the path is a bit ' to obstacles cause work and sidewalks.

Difficult to access parking. Nice room, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast.

Very clean but it is nightmare to park. Food is very good and overall it makes it for a nice experience.

One night stay to go to visit the aquarium of Genoa happy to have chosen this hotel friendly and friendly staff efficient in providing directions wide standard room and well furnished restaurant for dinner I recommend it, the price nn own Convenient but the dishes served were good!
The bathroom is nice nn spotless and slightly worn in some places as often happens in the seaside resorts. If I were to return to Genoa I would consider this hotel!

It's a little difficult to find if you get by car. The rooms are super and the view of the port is impressive.

Perfect location for cruise and airport. Friendly and smiling staff and the service is super. Clean and spacious rooms. We are with 4 kids here and that is no problem. They have a restaurant for dinner and breakfast. That was perfect after a long day out and the kids just wanted to relax. So we tried the restaurant and food was nice and prices were spot on for a hotel. In the middle. I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Genoa.

Hotel centrally located and close enough to Genoa's Piazza Principe train station. The rooms at the Holiday Inn Genoa City are well-appointed and spacious. The hotel has a convenient parking area attached.

Very good location, just in front of the Ferry Terminal and outside the city centre, reachable by a 25 minutes walking or by subway (the journey takes 8 minutes; and the station is 500m far from the hotel/residence entrance). In the surrounding area, among other, you can find supermarkets and a gym. I have stayed 1 month at the Business Residence. The apartments are new and elegantly furnished. Everything is provided. Don't bring anything. Only a few minor tools are missing (but you must be a perfectionist to notice that). Wi-fi is good but it could be better at certain times/days. All the staff is friendly and very helpful.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi included. Small gym in the basement. Location not quite the best with the port in front and the elevated in sight from the windows. Good thing the reinforced windows. 15/20min in the centre on foot. Frequented by boating staff working in the nearby port terminal. Staff.

It's holliday inn… Obsessive obsession with chain futilities. Great quality of furniture and finishes. Very professional staff. Equally very "professional" clientele. Breakfast is perfect, for all tastes, quality and in a very wide time slot. The location is unfortunately very unhappy. Away from the ancient harbour and views of the fast-flowing elevated… Very efficient windows make the rooms soundproof enough. But you're not in the country…

Good value for money, good reception, nickel service, spacious room and all comfort, great bed seen from the horrible 2nd floor and a can loud I recommend.

The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. No Restaurant. Breakfast very noisy, otherwise ok.

Very nice clean room very near to the MSC cruise terminal. No1 bus will get you there as it's not an easy walk with suitcase's.

I have been there several times for training. Comfortable parking for the car, good level the restaurant and the bar. Nice room and reception Easy to reach by car (apart from the traffic of Genoa) and a few minutes walk from the station of Piazza Principe. Surely from the high floors you can enjoy the view of the lantern that is near them.

Curtains were ripped and vents by door were dirty. Had a good sleep but felt the standards could have been better for a 4 star property.

Hotel site Shortly after exit port boats tourists, stayed in a room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, slept well, only sin lack of towels x the 3 person. Very good breakfast Channels not corresponding to the table on Yavolino and many missing. Second key/card not working. Breakfast within H 11 and exit from the rooms within H 12. Wi-Fi service, but I didn't ask if it was fee. In the minibar rooms for a fee. In the Camerr Termos x do the other. Car/motorbike parking service inside. Service to pay for drinks and other in the room.

Decent location, around a 5min drive from central train station. Excellent breakfast buffet, clean and spacey rooms. Would definitely recommend. We also have a lovely view towards the port/sea.

Excellent place, good attention, bar new facilities semi luxury, paid parking closed or open x day 16 euros, Vienvenida Cup and snacks Vienvenida, friendly atmosphere, buffet 5 stars all top quality well kept. The only thing is the area of the port where it is located that is not safe x the night, for the day to go carefully with the Peetenencias in the city.

Lovely staff and the complimentary water and robes were a nice touch!

Doesn't look newish on the outside but the inside is top notch for the price. It's a good business standard. The room was spacious and came with a king size bed, nice. Would stay again.

Everything about this place was amazing. The room was super clean, the staff were extraordinary. We had a view of the dock where all the ferries came and went. Beautiful at night. All staff were very friendly and super helpful. A most enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend it.

Comfortable place for a stay over in Genoa. Most rooms have views granting a view of the hustle and bustle of the port city Genoa. Not as pricey as the upscale hotels, but you get what you pay for.

Worldwide standard of Holiday Inn, clean, big rooms. I had a room with interior view, no nice view but very quiet instead.

Great hotel, clean friendly and helpful … breakfast exaggerated but be warned that it is included. From the outside the Hotel looks almost derelict but inside everything changes … very good 4 stars.

Very nice hotel staff trying to speak french and us trying to speak Italian, room spacious and very clean and comfortable. The restaurant offers quality dishes, special mention for the tiramisu.

Rooms are modern and clean. Staff is friendly and competent.
Parking is currently 12€ per night and breakfast (if not incl) 15€ p. P. — a little over-priced but still ok.
Not given five stars due to its location. In order to visit the city's sights one has to take a 20min walk…
All in all: good value for money.

Nice I was there for the weekend and I must say that I enjoyed. Nice room and staff well soundproofed. Too bad the area isn't the greatest but in a few minutes you are in the Center.

I have been to this hotel in September and I had a great time, room lady was lovingly decorated every detail: from night creams to hair straighteners.
The Hotel is perfectly located and ideal for easy access to the Aquarium on foot.
The restaurant is perfectly up to par, great is the tenderloin with green pepper and the staff very attentive and prepared.
I would truly recommend this hotel.
