Camera con affaccio sul bellissimo porticciolo di Vernazza, molto pulita e tenuta in modo impeccabile. Struttura piccolina, ma che riesce a valorizzare ogni spazio. Personale gentile e disponibile.

We enjoy stay at Albergo barbara, view is stunning, Alex is very friendly. The village is very quiet in the morning, we are like local to enjoy the sound of the wave and sunrise. Absolutely love this place, hope we can stay longer.

It was more delightful than I expected and the attic room was so charming. The staff were all very helpful and attentive, especially Alex. I highly recommend it for the best location and value.

I give the maximum for the kindness and helpfulness of the managers, to the location, the view, the care and the attention to details of furniture and vernazza which is very relaxing.

Great stay, but if you pay for seaview but not the most expensive one, you gotta climb an ikea tool to the window, like a little prison. Take note of big luggages because there is no lift and it is on the very very top level with a tiny spiral stairs to your room. Don't say I didn't warn you my friends.

But as it is essentially in the attic, head room is some places is a little lacking. There's no TV in the rooms but I don't think this is a problem. Who wants to be watching TV when you're in the Cinque Terre? Rooms one and two have their own little bathrooms, three to six all share. There is a small communal space with a sofa and coffee machine, books and a gorgeous view of the harbour. Access to the hotel is from the main square, and then up 82 stairs. The final 19 are a tight spiral that is difficult with a large rucksack, almost impossible with a big suitcase.

The hotel is situated at the last floor of an ancient building in the Vernazza's downtown. The inner is modern. The service are: Wi-Fi, bathroom, cafè machine and luggage store.

Clean place, fridendly staff, lovely small town!

I really wanted to like this place better. The rooms are dated as others have said. No ac, old mattresses, horrible horrible towels than are thin like paper, and it can be pretty loud until midnight. The loud part I can handle especially with the view. It seemed clean until the day we checked out and my wife and I am covered in bites. Bed bugs Im assuming from looks of the bites. Gross.

Location absolutely perfect. Romanticism to wish. The room with bathroom was very clean and very quiet vis-à-vis the outside environment. On the other hand the nuisances come from the inside: The false friendly side of the living room equipped with an infernal coffee machine disturbs the tranquillity of the evening ends and the morning graces … On the other hand toilets and bathrooms "common" also become a nuisance when used during the hours of sleep. Solution: Apart from calling on civics and common sense of each one by specifying DS the Rules of Procedure … Disconnect the coffee machine between 23:30 and 08:30 s proves a necessity! A nod to the cordial and professional manager.

Basic but clean room as well as the small external bathroom (but reserved). There is also a shared lounge area with a bar and a sea view skylight.
A particular praise to the staff who proved very kind.
Ideal for the weekend.

Great lication, amazing view from the window, spotless, friendly staff, warm at night, great, only bad notes lack of hair dryer and poor acuatico insulation. But the peace of the country compensates. Good!

BED BUG ALERT! Do not stay here! My wife and I are covered in bites. Also there is no hot water and we were missing money from our room. Rick Steves is having this dirty terrible dishonest place removed from his book — thank God!

Overpriced! The view is absolutely gorgeous, but that's where it ends. Rooms are dated, and in serious need for an upgrade. No AC, TV or fridge! It is clean though.

The location was great, right on the main plaza looking out over the waterfront. We had an attic room, technically a double, but it was TINY. Most double rooms we had on the trip consisted of two twin beds pushed together or perhaps a queen and a twin, but this was just a queen, which made for some tight sleeping. Not a particularly comfortable mattress either. Because it was an attic the ceiling was very low on one side of the bed. Also, the bathroom was small and private, but it was across the hall from the room. Oh yes, and the attic rooms are up a bajillion stairs; it's quite a slog after hiking the trails. Nevertheless, having the small attic window that you can see and hear the water out of was nice, and the price was quite reasonable. And everything was perfectly clean and the reception was very friendly. I would totally stay there again, but it's probably worth spending a bit more to get a room on a lower floor without the attic ceiling.
