Beautiful place. Owner and staff extremely helpful. Room immaculate, breakfast delicious, neighborhood high end near the Borghese. Wonderful experience even for us oldies.

Though many clients have lauded it and have loved it — I had a terrible experience. I was not sufficiently warned that they do not have a 24hr reception. I arrived at 1 AM on the night I was supposed to start my stay, only to be sent to another hotel by the reservation agency after waiting for an hour and a half in a staircase. To add insult to injury they wouldn't reimburse me the amount I paid upfront. They categorically refused to help in any way going so far as to give my booking to someone else. They gave away my room and I had to re-pay the entire sum I initially paid to another hotel so I wouldn't stay on the streets. They wouldn't even reimbourse me the amount they would've received after the booking agency deducted its share of the revenues.

Wonderful hotel, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast in a quiet area. The staff were kind and welcoming. Will definitely return!

Absolutely fantastic boutique hotel, Lucrezia made our stay unforgettable. Brand new, has just been refurbished. Very comfortable and well located. Breakfast is really good, with produce from their own farm. We'll be definitely coming back! Grazie mille Lucrezia! Xx.

Courtesy, hospitality, cleanliness and the environment from the taste, noble and elegant are the features of the Relais, Donna Lucrezia, within a beautiful period building, which offers an optimal accommodation in the heart of Rome. Square of Spain to get there on foot in just 10 min, 5 min and you are at the Trevi fountain, Villa Borghese in 10 min, 30 mt. And you are in Via Veneto. More strategic so… basically you do not need the metro. Excellent breakfast, with home-made cakes from Lucrezia. The rooms are very comfortable and furnished with taste that is truly refined. At the first occasion we're returning. But it was clean.

Elegant and comfortable family owned property close to Spanish steps, Fontana di Trevi, metro station. Very clean. Superb staff that made sure we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable; but the pull-out sofa had a dip where it extended and our 7-year old complained at times (junior suite). Passable breakfast; though we asked for boiled eggs and staff not only prepared them for us, but offered to us every morning for the rest of our stay. Lucrezia — the young person who was in charge — had a bit of a pompous aura, and preoccupied guests with her family history and estates more than people cared to listen. She didn't even consider a request for half an hour late checkout, just flat out refused.

We're sitting in Spain towards the end of the holidays and our recent trip to Rome came into my mind. We are fondly reminiscing our recent stay in Rome. We stayed at Relais Donna Lucezia for two nights. As with any holidays our plans changed and needed a room for 3 rather than 2 which we initially booked. Lucrezia kindly accommodated us. We fully appreciate this considering the short notice. I cannot rave enough about this hotel. On my holidays I always keep away from hotel chains and look for places that complement the city that I'm staying in. The Relais Donna Lucrezia offers something special, it is authentic, it is luxurious yet comfortable. Well appointed rooms, high ceilings, lovely furnitures and most importantly comfortable bed, even the bed for or third person was comfortable. Location was lovely, away from the crazy tourist areas. We took a nice stroll to Villa Borghese not far from the hotel. It's also close to the metro. The place feels personal. We also had breakfast daily and they offered artisanal produce fresh from their farm. We arrived from both an early flight and late flight and they are quick to respond to requests and we booked convenient airport transfers from the hotel.

Excellent place to stay. Confortable, classy, clean and affordable price. The owner and his daughter Lucrezia very nice people. They are very professional and helpful. We were a family of 8 people and we stayed 3 day. They always had a table, for all of us, prepared in the morning ready for our breakfast. They always offer fresh and delicious breakfast home made. I am very greatfull to have met such a wonderfull people.

This hotel is an amazing find in Rome! We can't say enough nice things about the owner and the staff. They truly went out of their way to help us in everyway. We arrived on a holiday weekend when things were closed but they arranged to find things for us like laundry, hair dresser, cabs etc. The owner is so charming and his family helps out with the hotel — his daughter checked us in, she spoke perfect English and was so friendly. They take great pride in the hotel as it was once their family home. The breakfast was delicious with homemade crossiants and other amazing foods. The owner brings fresh olive oil and cheese from his farm — you won't believe how good it is. The location is also centrally located (near the Spanish steps) so you can walk to so many things. When we return to Rome we will definitely stay at this hotel — it adds to your entire Roman vacation!

This was the first hotel of our 10 day trip to Italy & Croatia and it set the bar so high. We were contacted ahead of time asking if we wanted transportation from the airport, which we accepted. Our plane was late & our luggage took a long time to arrive. We figured our cab would be long gone but no, the driver was there waiting for us. Shabir had monitored our flight and dispatched the cab to be waiting. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by Shabir & helped with our luggage. After a tour of the facility, we were left to relax in our beautiful, spacious, quiet room. We loved the small balcony off our room, but by far our favorite part was the nice bathroom and shower. Each morning we were amazed at the beautiful and delicious breakfasts with homemade pastries, jams, cheeses and so much more! The constant attention we received from Shabir & Lucrezia, whether it was calling a cab for us or offering suggestions on restaurants or outings was wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay and loved how many sites like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and the train station are all within a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. We will definitely recommend the Relais Donna Lucrezia to anyone needing accommodations in Rome. Thank you Lucrezia and Shabir for making our stay so memorable.

Great place to stay! Lucrezia is a fantastic host, both kind and helpful without being "pushy", and the location is a walking distance from some of Rome's most beautiful spots. The place has an aura of "Italian heritage", although the rooms are fully furnished with "up-to-date" equipment. Make sure to ask Lucrezia for some of her own favourites around Rome, because she knows a lot of hidden gems which are nice contrasts to the most obvious tourist traps.

This luxurious freshly renovated guest-house, both in the rooms and in the hallway and in the living room (she's part-time dining) great combination of colors textures fabrics and interior details, some of them antique. Breakfast is served high quality meats and cheese, homemade cakes and jams, a variety of fruits and yogurts, of course, a variety of cereals and pastries; moreover, all that was not requested for Breakfast stays for your use all day: fruit, croissants, and cakes and biscuits. Bedding and towels can be changed daily if you ask. The quality of all parts in the bathroom, generally a separate praise — and branded faucets in the shower and in the sink, and wooden doors with expensive hardware, modern equipment, a shower room, and cosmetics "Etro". Parquet floor and thick soft carpets in the hallway there is a computer for your use with high-speed Internet, which is free and available in all rooms. In General, the ratio price-quality is beyond praise.

Charming boutique hotel in the heart of Rome, at two steps from via veneto and trinità dei monti. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with a brand new bathroom, rich breakfast, staff attentive and welcoming. For us the unmissable.

Great place! Would definitely stay again. Interior was gorgeous and very comfortable. The hostess, Lucrezia, was wonderful and provided delicious home-cooked food, much better than staying in any old hotel! She even helped us organise our trip. 10/10 would recommend.
