Good location and nice staff. We did have issues with the shower and I wouldn't recommend the breakfast there. Was nice enough for the price. Do be aware it is on the 5th floor and it only has a small lift up.

The hotel surprised me very much. For a 2 star hotel it is a marvel. Great location, next to lots of restaurants and some places to have something and close to downtown. I will definitely repeat when I come back to Rome.

Nice place but the A/C doesn’t work… staying 3 nights and miserable our first night! Help!

Stayed at Hotel Louisiana for 6 days in early March 2018. The weather was disappointing, three days was rainy, but in hotel hurried, in a closet 2 more blankets and a plaid have found, though on beds too on a blanket was. The room has both bathroom and shower, which is not so often found in Italy in hotels below 4 stars. The breakfast is quite good for us girls turned out, at home I do not always eat so in the morning. The staff is very friendly, speaks good English, is ready to help by virtue of its possibilities. By the way, there is also an elevator, so it is not necessary to drag suitcases on the stairs.

Great place to stay in the center of Rome, so close to main attractions and with very good connections to Vatican city! Excellent service, especially the young manager Alessandro — grazie mille, always cheerful and helpful, and Elena! We'll be back for sure! Daniel & Gabriela February 2018

I am truly impressed with my stay at hotel Louisiana. The staff are lovely and extremely helpful. They have given us maps, amazing food recommendations such as Coso Ristorante (baked potato filled with Carbonara! ) and La Romana Gelateria which is 2 streets away and is the best Gelato I have tried and 4 scoop cone is 3.20 Euro's! The hotel reception is located on the 5th floor of the building which is not that obvious but once you know your sorted. The room we have is gorgeous, bigger than I expected with lovely decor with plugs, side tables, fridge and safe, comfy bed and the wardrobe is mirrored so you have a good mirror too. The bathroom is great, a nice marble sink, toilet and bidet, heated radiotar that you can put your towels on and a shower. The shower is really powerful which is great (turn left for hot and right for cold and out for more power). There is free Wi-Fi, not great in every room as they told us, but ours was great and if you don't have Wi-Fi in your room the reception area does. It is our 6th anniversary and my partner paid for the romantic package with Prosecco, candles (actual tealights and not fake candles), delicious chocolates and pomegranates to go with the Prosecco. There were fake flower petals in a heart shape with my initials on the bed which was beautiful. Really worth the extra, was a lovely surprise.

We stayed for 3 nights in room 502. Excellent location of the hotel. 3 metro stations nearby, and the Terms a 10-minute walk away. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Have been satisfied with all of our requests. Very clean room (I am an allergic person). Clean bathroom. Hearty breakfast in the Italian style. One of the owners showed us on the map places, roads and routes of the bus. Will definitely be back. P. S. Zeus is wonderful.

I stayed at the hotel several times since January and I have always found good until the staff was joined by Mrs. Letizia, a person ineducata, rude, arrogant and unprofessional. Given that in its attitudes is supported by the companion of the owner of the property I changed hotels, x is not going to pay to be treated that way. But I wanted to make clear to both that they wouldn't let me any favors to give me a room but were simply their craft of hoteliers, and that maybe they should take as an example the behavior of Mr. Dimitri that unlike their knows how to treat guests especially when staying there each month.

I stay here everytime I have the pleasure to visit Rome. The staff is exceptional, all the room, as the direction said, has been renovated a couple of years ago. The rooms are big and well appointed, the Wi-Fi works good and it's free (apparently this is not so common in Rome). Breakfast on point. I really recommend it. See you next time.

Worst Hotel Ever! Breakfast with expired products, the price increased from the site, dirty rooms, receptionist drunk who says bad words to me and my sister, broken elevator, theft in the room! ABSOLUTELY NOT GO! VERY VERY BAD.

Excellent value for money, great location.
Recommended to those who have no great pretensions.

The positive:
-The price is bit high
-The room was spacious and clean: sheets and towels changed daily
-Air conditioning
-Full breakfast: coffee, tea, milk, croissants, bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt. Etc.
-The staff is an incredible location!
-The staff is efficient: a small problem with shower set in the day
The negative:
-The pillows were a bit flat
-Two single beds instead of a double (we should clarify our request)
-The walls are thin (we along the neighbor TV)
-Breakfast: juice powder, powder coffee
The value is there, so I recommend this hotel.

Hotel is very dirty, do not change you towels or bed linen rooms in bad condition the unpleasant bathroom curtain full of fungi, see photos shipping.

For the price paid, it is OK. The employees well, one spoke Spanish, and the Italian meet. The area is not the best, but it is near Termini and Barberini, from where you can take the metro (for example to go to the Vatican). Walking is easily accessed Via Condotti Piazza Spagna, Fontana di Trevi. There are 3 or 4 affordable restaurants in the area. Nothing fancy, but it's okay.

I chose this hotel especially because everyone recommended it for the good treatment of the staff, who feel at home and that. As well, it must have changed owners. Only 2 employees (Ecuadorians) speak Spanish. For the help they gave me, it would have been the same if they could speak in Chinese. Zero interest, zero kindness, looked at the computer to talk to me and helped me not in the least. Another receptionist, Italian, not even understood when I asked milk (it was early and I did not remember that it says "latte"). The good news: the room was pretty clean. The bad: everything else. Treatment, the bathroom is flooded when you showers, stained walls, the basic super breakfast (pastries, coffee with milk and cereals, juice machine never works), the location (away from it all, without a bar open after 10 pm) Conclusion: avoid it. There must be something better for the same price.

Sure, I've stayed in nicer places with larger rooms, but this place gets the job done. It is small, simple, clean and comfortable. The price is amazing for the location. You are minutes walking from Plaza Republica and access to the whole city by the Metro. I was referred to this place by a friend in Rome, so it is a local treasure not showing up in large website searches.
