The hotel is in a great location to visit Rome. The room was clean, the breakfast generous. Staff was helpful, but we were disappointed that we had to pay the city taxes twice. We had paid at the check in, but haven’t received any receipt. When we checked out, we have been informed by the same person that we haven’t paid. Maybe it was our mistake that we haven’t request a receipt first time. We tried to explain that we paid cash the tax and we have received the rest of the money at the front desk, maybe they should have checked the security cam. Considering that the accommodation had already been paid online. The receptionist said that he will double check and we will receive a refund by bank transfer. Our only choice is to wait and see what happens.
