It was a very nice place. The next time I go back to Rome, I will definitely stay at the Alius…
ah… Forgot. The proprietor is a spectacle.

Economy class hotel, but because of its strategic position on the central street of the city much can be forgiven.
The bed and towels are clean.
It is possible to have breakfast for 3 euros, but as in Italy the breakfast cult is not widespread at all, but it is not the best breakfast.
The hotel has excellent rooms for 4 people.
Reception is open from 8.00 to 19. The hotel is located in an 18th-century building.

We had a reservation in this hotel for four nights but it is when you arrive they tell us that they do not have hot water so we offered to move to another hotel which is 10 minutes walk away from most of the centre. The hotel we suggested is called the luna romana you can find it very easily on Google Maps and see other people's comments useful for your stay in Rome.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff is very friendly and helpful. "Very convenient to the center.

The place is modest but clean and with a great location. We came in family, two adults two girls and had a great time… we visited all the places we wanted to know on foot as from the hotel we had everything quite close.

Great place but poorly cared for. Siphon water leaking, remote control TV broken, bajour broken and 3 euros for crappy breakfast.

Great hotel for the price! It could be a little cleaner but the great position makes up for everything. It's good for a short trip, you can easily reach the main attractions. The staff was very nice too.

I left early It's not often that you leave a hotel before you've actually slept there. I was completely dissatisfied with this hotel for nuerous reasons, the least of which were the paper-thin walls. I didn't sneeze for fear the neighboring guests might call out, "Bless you! ". Let's start with the positive aspect (the one and only which saved this place from me giving it a "terrible" score instead of just "poor"). The staff. Both people I dealt with during my "stay" at this place were extremely accommodating and friendly. They did everything they could to resolve all the problems I had while I was there — which considering I was only at the hotel for a total of two-three hours altogether, that seems incredible. When I first checked in, I went into the room I'd reserved, which had been 30 euro for one night (in January) and that did not include breakfast the next day. The room was almost as small as that of a hotel room in London. The size didn't bother me. It was the fact that the heater didn't work. When I lay down on the bed, there was a small black curly hair awaiting me at the pillow — which was just wonderful to see.

I wish we had lower rating than that. My family members are currently staying in that hotel and having a lot of problems. Their bathroom was blocked and there was a smell. The receptionist was ignoring everything and when I called and asked for a manager he hung up on me. Called again and told him that will be contacting my bank to dispute the transaction he started to help. He gave a new double room. However again they had problems. They couldn't sleep whole night since there were a lot of bedbugs. Hope someone from management will read this.

It is a small hotel but comfortable. Its location is very good, as it is nothing more than four blocks from Termini station, and two metro station. Also I must point out that you can go walking to several important points of the city as: the colosseum, The roman forum, The fontaba di Trevi, etc, and I Recommend it to those who want to be well placed for a low cost.

Hotel on the third floor of a large building. The facility was good (though it would take restored) and the room was composed only of 3 beds, a desk and a wardrobe. Covered with a few holes, but washed. Small bathroom with a toilet, a sink and a shower that we should fix it urgently.
Breakfast plentiful and good. While the staff were friendly and helpful.
10 for the location, just a few minutes from the Coliseum and other points of interest.

Rome was our last stop on our two week vacation; staying in this hotel came very close to ruining the end of an otherwise wonderful time in Italy. We didn't really mind the small, sterile room (hey, we completely understood that this is a budget hotel and didn't expect anything fancy) — but the problem was our bathroom, which smelled of raw sewage. And when I say "smelled", I mean *reeked*, to the point where we each had multiple experiences of gagging. Just truly horrendous. We spent two nights in the hotel; after the first night, we tried to find another hotel to move to, but everything in the area where we needed to be was booked. The worst part: upon returning to our room after a day of sightseeing, we discover that the remote control to our air conditioner (which is the only way to control the AC) is gone. We spent an hour scouring the room and it was nowhere to be found (it's a small room with nowhere for a big remote to be lost). When we asked the front desk, we were met with rudeness and a refusal to help. Thus, our last night in Rome was spent in miserable, sweltering heat. Just awful.
