This is the best guesthouse in Rome with 5* amenities! They have thought of every detail. Comfortable, quiet and safe.
This was the worst experience i’ve ever had with any lodging I have ever booked. First off the owners did not communicate effectively as to where we were supposed to go. We were unable to access the building the rooms were in because they didn’t give us the access code so some random person had to let us in. Then they didn’t give us to.
The code to actually enter the room, which wouldn’t have been an issue if reception was present but reception is only open about 4 hours per day. They did not communicate effectively with us to solve this issue, and we would have been left without anywhere to stay which is completely unacceptable. The owner didn’t answer the phone and was not responding to the messages we sent either forcing us to rely on the kindness of those around us instead of their services. Also the main door to enter reception can be locked by guests so when we got back to our room at 11 o clock we were unable to enter because another guest had locked us out. While the room itself was nice enough the hassle of this place made the experience something I wouldn’t do again and would not suggest to others either.

Every time I visit Rome I stay at the Guest House Charlie Up. In my opinion this is the best hotel in Rome, Very clean, very nice rooms, great location just a short walk to Prati centre, and most of all INCREDIBLE service. The hosts work very hard to make you comfortable and to make you feel at home. I can highly recommend it and I will certainly stay there again on my next trip.
