Hotel De Petris offers a pleasant and comfortable stay right in the heart of Rome. The location is excellent, making it easy to walk to many major attractions, and the atmosphere of the hotel is welcoming and well maintained. One of the strong points is the cleanliness — the rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are all kept in very good condition, which adds greatly to the feeling of comfort. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff available to help and always polite.
The bed itself is comfortable, but the blanket provided is a bit heavy, which may not suit everyone, especially during warmer nights. It’s a small detail, but something to keep in mind if you are sensitive to bedding weight.
Another point to note is the air conditioning. While it works well and cools the room effectively, it is noticeably loud. For light sleepers, the noise may be disturbing. In my case, I had to turn it off completely in order to fall asleep.
Despite these minor issues, my overall experience was positive. Hotel De Petris remains a good, comfortable choice in Rome with excellent service and solid value.
