Great location. Rooms and furnishings a bit old but clean enough. Breakfast at Union minimum.

Great Location Center of Rome at about 30min of everything.
Small and noisy room.
Staff very nice small not too varied especially if you eat salty in the morning.

Positive: — Location is fantastic. It is literally less than a minute from Via Del Corso and very close to all attractions. — Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. — The double room was very comfortable (as much as can be expected from the price). — Breakfast has really nice coffee and pastries. Negatives: — The late night staff members don't seem to speak English very well. — To get to the Hotel you have to go through a gate with an intercom after 8 PM. When we arrived at night (no later than 11:30 PM) we often had to wait a bit because no one answered our intercom rings for a while. Overall I would definitely recommend the hotel. A great, very affordable experience.

We spent three nights at this Hotel Fontanella. It was a wonderful experience. The location in cetral Rome is ideal. The staff were always welcoming and ready to be helpful, no matter what the request. The room was lovely, breakfast delicious and the general atmosphere very comfortable. The owner would drop in, introduce herself and welcome those who had visit before and introduce herself to first time visitors. All around, without any hesitation, I would recommed this hotel.

We had a pleasure to stay on this hotel with such a lovely stuff anytime ready to help in case you need. Very clean rooms, nice breakfast, great cappuccinos:) The perfect spot to be for seeing everything about Rome, for shopping, and restaurants. I would give more than 5 stars ;). Recomand.

Definitely worth booking this hotel, walking distance to Spanish steps just few min, very friendly stuff on hand all the time the only challenge you may need to deal with is if you arrive by a car!

Good location, right next to shopping streets, spanish steps and popolo. Great staff. Rooms are nice, a bit small. Only complaint is the hard beds.

Fantastic location, staff, and accomodation. We were 3 girls traveling through Italy and this was the perfect spot for Rome. Very good staff and service. Breakfast was good for the value.
