A very nice hotel nearby the historic monuments and near restaurants. In walking distance (15 minutes) from the railway station. Friendly personnel. Good continental breakfast.

The location was extremely perfect! there was a bus stop exactly oposite the hotel, and 5 mins walk to the Metro station.

The Hotel is Idea as a base to see all of the Historic buildings and its not far to the Colosseum & Trevi Fountain (All within walking distance at a steady pace). It's marked as a three star Hotel but I think it's worth 4, a nice sized Hotel and worth looking at.

Very comfortable place, with very good general service. Beautiful interior design, with remarkable details, such as sculptures, paintings and tapestries. Sobriety and beauty. Impeccable hygiene, soft and tasteful ambient music. Excellent breakfast service. We had a beautiful stay, in a hotel with a convenient location to access the various tourist and artistic places that Rome offers.

My stay at the Hotel Giolli Nazionale was an amazing experience. The staff is extremely polite and helpful for every kind of situation and the centre of Rome is walking distance. I can't wait to go back to Rome and I will definitely return to the lovely Hotel Giolli Nazionale.

In general lines a good hotel in services and infrastructure. Very good location.

We wanted a room with two double beds, which the images clearly stated. When we got there, it was a significant smaller room, with a double and a single bed. They admitted the images were not true, but still insisted on us paying for one night, despite we didn't stay. Can't recommended going anywhere near this hotel.

Absolutely awful. My partner and I booked a standard room; no, we were not expecting a presidential suite, however, we just wanted something clean, modern and basic. We had to change rooms after the first night (as there were no rooms available to move into at first). The first room had: • Holes in the wall • An electric panel that was exposed and made a lot of noise • An extremely dated bathroom • Taps that were coming away from the wall • Hairs on the floor that weren't ours • Hairs in the bathroom that weren't ours • Wooden flooring with gaps in it • Air con that barely worked • A disgusting view • Stains on the ceiling • Dirt round the edges of the floor • There were plastic cups in the bathroom inside a bag; there was a bug inside the bag • An old, rusty tap • Rusty shower head • Slow shower that went VERY hot and cold The place is just so ridiculously old. I know it's only 3 stars, but you shouldn't have any of the above in a 3 star hotel. The breakfast that was included was cold ham, eggs that weren't boiled, cheese, pastries that weren't nice at all, 2 types of cereal, toast (and the toaster took forever) and that's about it. Oh and it had a choice of tea or coffee and some juice. I would absolutely NOT recommend staying here, unless you try a prestige room, but I can't promise they will be any better. The only good thing about this hotel was it's location. We will never stay here again.

Great location central to everyting. Nazionale road is always busy and have many shops and restaurants. Hotel is nice and boutique type. Rooms a smaller but okay. Breakfats is nice as well. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Ancient looking elevator adds color to the hotel Taxis available right oppposite of the hotel. Rougly €48 to the airport. 24 reception and very friendly and supportive.

The room is very small and the bathroom exudes very bad smell. It is not a problem of lack of cleanliness but structural. It is unbearable and did not agree to change rooms, they hide in the lack of availability.

Decent stay in this hotel, clean room and got a nice view over the busy street. Room can be quite shaky at times due to it being close to the main road. Small elevator so family with strollers should keep that in mind.

Was disappointed on arrival as the room looked quite tatty, in need of a good lick of paint, and some decent bedding. That being said, the hotel is in a great location and the rooms are exceptionally clean so we could overlook the above. The cleaners are lovely, the towels are changed everyday, along with clean bedding. I can’t comment on any other members of staff as we haven’t interacted with any. The reason for only giving 3 stars is due to the uncomfortable bed/ pillows! My back/ neck hasn’t been this painful in a long time. Looking forward to getting in my own bed tomorrow and having a decent nights sleep.

Elevator's ridiculous. Poor breakfast and no variety, the tables are so close together that you have no intimacy. The room is passable, the TV does not work, and the bathroom is no longer worth talking about, to get into a shower you have to juggle, go sideways and carefully. Very dirty bathroom joints, they're black. To be a 3 star superior leaves a lot to be desired.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel in the perfect location of Rome. Very helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms! The hotel is located in the full historical center of Rome a few minutes walk form anywhere — this made our stay very comfortable. Continental breakfast with plenty of choice and delicious Italian coffee.

"When in Rome". Make sure you come and stay at Gioli. It was amazing. The service was fantastic and helpful and my room was new, clean and tidy with all the amenities you need while travelling. If I can put more stars down I would. Will definitely come back here again.

Bathroom walls moldy, with damage to the walls of the sleeping area. No ventilation/fan in the bathroom made it very hot after showers. Room was tiny for 4 people and we couldn't move around at all. Air conditioner unable to keep room temperature down. Only give you one key so unable to split up the group. Location is fine but loud. Breakfast fair.

Centrally located near all the major sites. Balcony room was comfortable and well appointed. AC left something to be desired. Staff all spoke English and made the stay fantastic. Complimentary continental breakfast was very good.

Great hotel! I stayed there for a couple of days with the family. The location is fantastic, it's just a few minutes walk from Termini (the main train/metro station). You're basically in the middle of the historic center with all the major landmarks within walking distance. The room itself was very clean, it had a comfortable bed and blackout curtains (very important for me! ). The staff were also very friendly and gave me a helping hand with virtually anything I approached them for. This is a higher end 3 star hotel and it is quite cheap by Roman standards. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a lovely hotel on one of the main streets of Rome where everything is in walking distance; historical sites, restaurants and shopping! We were greeted by friendly staff members who were very welcoming and accommodating. Our room on the third floor was spacious, clean, and modern. The ceiling had a historic painting from the 1800's, which was stunning! Windows are soundproof which was a huge plus as our room was facing the busy street of Nazionale! The bed was huge and very comfortable! Spacious walk-in closet with a coffee machine. Bathroom was large, clean and designed with beautiful marble! I would recommend anyone to stay here during their trip!

Staff were very courteous, room were clean with new bed linens and refreshed with new clean towel's every day. Location is ideal to most of the attraction and the Hotel is near the train station, very convenient. The Hotel is located in a central location, everything around to most attraction is walking distance. My trip was in May so there were cool weather a few days and rain, wonderful weather. However, the air condition did not work well, so if you’re planning a summer trip, not sure about their other rooms but 114 the air unit needed to be clean. I can see the air coils are clogged with dust and maybe that all is needed to be done for it to work correctly. Luckily, I had a balcony and left the sliding door open for the cool air. My trip was a wonderful experience, great Hotel. I would recommend. I was not disappointed.

We stayed in the suite. Very nice the ceiling fresco. Marble bathroom with big shower. Comfortable room with views of the exhibition hall. A pretty hotel.

I stayed at the Giolli hotel with my girlfriend. We had a good, clean room and with comfortable bed. The bathroom has both the shower and the bathtub. Very good breakfast

Hotel in the centre of Rome near the metro. Very nice and comfortable. Thanks to the manager Francesca who organized the transfer to Fiumicino although I had the plane at 6 a. M.

Hotel that turns out to be a gem in the heart of Rome. Staff, cleanliness, structure, breakfast, all impeccable and well cared for. Friendliest and very kind staff, structure that takes advantage of a location located in a beautiful and welcoming palace, clean rooms and quiet. Excellent breakfast buffet, abundant and ranging from sweet to salty; Punctual and Provident Service. Located in the center of the beautiful via Nazionale, perfect to reach the most characteristic places of Rome such as the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps. Halfway from the station and the Foreign Ministry, convenient to get to the airport. Recommended!

Very good Hotel in the center and convenient to the airport, very nice renovated room recently, bathroom was really clean. The staff was very attentive to my needs, also the breakfast was plentiful. Great experience, certainly will come back.

We had a problem with the room despite booking months in advance we were given a single with extra bed, lowercase. Up to the second day did not give us one double available, that Yes, in its more modern hotel, Super.

I agree that this hotel is in a great location within Rome, but it really is for the budget minded/no frills traveler, or for those who travel light and without a family. If you travel with a family, be advised that the front desk is not on the ground floor, but the second floor (granted, Europeans may call it the first floor). The lift (elevator) can only hold 2 small/average size adults and two 24" rolling luggage at one time; i. E. If you have a lot of luggage, it will take more than one trip to get everyone and everything upstairs, unless you have a person (s) go upstairs first, then send only your luggage up in the lift. Other than that, the standard room is basically a place to sleep. The bathroom was slightly annoying, as the tub/shower did not have a full size 'shield'; it has a partial glass partition, and when you take a shower, the floor gets wet from the splash.

Some rooms are very small. Most rooms very old. we have been in two rooms, and both had a problem with water temperture. In one of the rooms the flow was very low. and to top it all they scamed us with an extra 40 euro when we had to check out and drive to the airport. Don't go.

Great location for visiting the city, either by public transport or on foot, good value, excellent service from all staff, will definitely stay.

The hotel is indeed perfectly situated, promises more than it can deliver. The room was as far as fine, but very dark. It was located to the inner side of the courtyard, which also was a construction site. Unfortunately, an always unpleasant odor came out of the bath, which was otherwise not super clean as to read in other reviews. Hair by previous guests were quite. The breakfast was very simple. Nothing special, no change.

I stayed here in a single daily use and despite my brief stay was very satisfied of welcome and above all of the double rooms in but assigned. Great location, spacious room with view on via nazionale. Definitely going back for business or pleasure.

Its proximity to termini train station and largo argentina makes it easily accessible and favourable for anyone wanting to use public transport around Rome. I definitely recommend it. Best location you can get for a hotel in Rome. 5 minutes walk from the colosseum, Trevi fountain and many other important tourist attractions/monuments. In addition it is just on the other side of the street of more than one bus stop and of a taxi stand. Our room was clean and had a modern style, we also had a view on the Basilica di San Vitale and on the Exhibition Palace of Rome. Breakfast with yoghurts, coffee, milk, juice, eggs etc. Very kind staff. I would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone :).

A delightful visit in the eternal city of Rome was enhanced most specially by the Giolli hotel. I stayed there back in september with 4 other friends. We had two double rooms and a single room: all very spacious. Two of which were facing via nazionale (the street). Breakfast is good, coffee is amazing! The building is very nice and clean and the staff is what made our stay excellent. Carlos, Andrea, Gianni: all very helpful at reception. I strongly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a centrally located three star superior hotel.

FANTASTIC experience at hotel Giolli! best of all is the location! perfectly located in the heart of the historical centre. The building is gorgeous of the late 800s. Breakfast is good and the rooms are spacious. The double room my girlfriend and I were in had an amazing view on Via Nazionale and on the exhibition palace. On the other side of the street there are several bus stops and a taxi station. (you can get anywhere from there). There is also a tourist information office! loved the hotel, strongly recommend the Giolli hotel. :).
