Hotel that the only thing that has good is its situation, the breakfast an approved scraped, the room in which I was small with three steps small of which you stumble if not estasuy attentive Ylo worse the shower in which if you are a little big you can not enter because the MÁMP Aras do not open more than about 25 cm, ah and the elevator only enters a person with small suitcase I Do Not recommend.

Great location for an overnight stay. Very close to the colosseum and other amenities.

Great location, the rooms are small, dirty, everywhere is dust, the toilets are very dirty. The rooms don't look like they are the pictures, I'm already a bit disappointed.

Rooms are nice but to 4 a room must sleep 2 on a fold out sofa and the breakfast leaves much to be desired.

Great service, very helpful people, and beautiful and very clean rooms. Extremely close to Colloseum and most of the sites.

It is in the center of the city, very nice to walk to most famous historical places.

Small rooms but comfortable, thin walls enough to hear others speaking loud to each other, minimalist breakfast but with excellent coffee and the smallest elevator ever (but very intimate, and very useful in this tiny vertical hotel)

Excellent accommodation for location and quality of stay. This time the reviews and our experience coincided fully. A three star hotel in the heart of the Monti neighborhood where we found a great quadruple room for our family. Quality of sleep, cleanliness and bathroom really great and great soundproofing of our room on the third floor overlooking 2 large windows right on the way of the snakes. Also very good breakfast. Do not panic if you arrive you will see in the room only two tables with little food and hot and cold drinks, because a large tray complete with cake and jump you will be served directly at the table. Attentive and kind service. Absolutely reasonable price. Hotel is very close to many monuments first of all the Forum and the Colosseum has to hand pretty much everything from shops to pharmacies not to mention the restaurants. Also very well linked with public transport just a few minutes walk from Via Nazionale and via Cavour, the Metro is not too far away. Problematic instead for those who have the car, because it is the old town. Overall absolutely recommended.

Very nice hotel! The room was clean and the breakfast was very good. Unfortunately, this is not open for breakfast in the low season. The breakfast room is not very comfortable. However, the hotel is highly recommended, one is fast in many places such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or the Capitol. Also the Roman Forum is not far. All in all, highly recommended!

The hotel is located in a central location, close to the Metro and the main points of interest. In spite of this, the rooms are very small, the beds uncomfortable and the breakfast poor. The tiny bathroom is lacking in any comfort… experience to forget!

Very glad we only stayed 1 night! The rooftop patio was a nice idea, and that's the only pro. Feeling the bed springs in my side, I thought we were sleeping directly on the box springs with no mattress. I definitely would not describe anything here as "chic", Google. The Wi-Fi was so slow as to be unusable (my 2G mobile connection was faster and more reliable). Free breakfast was sparsely doled out by Nazis (not a buffet — — they ration it to the point of one pastry, slice of ham, and slice of cheese per person! ). You must leave your keys with the front desk when you go out, which is normally only a minor annoyance but here it is a big issue. The rooms have names instead of numbers. Brush up on your ancient Roman emperor pronunciations and don't forget which floor each is on! Other than feeling humiliated when asking for the keys, no problems with the multilingual staff. The location was okay, but not as great as I'd hoped. You can walk to restaurants but access to transit isn't as convenient as other parts of the city. Stay elsewhere for sure.

Good service and good location. Very helpful staff. The breakfast was full but with bread of mould. It is very quiet and you see the Colosseum. The very small showers (a pregnant one does not enter) Unlike the bath Q in If it is large and has even bidet. Very clean. It has a terrace with communal views. 'll.

Good location Everything is done on foot. The air-conditioned apartment hotel is very appreciated with the strong warmth of August. Staff speak French. Terrace Breakfast with view on the Colosseum. I recommend.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. The interior is small, but pleasant. What prevents this from being a 5 star for me would be the beds, my friends and I shared a 3 person room, the single bed was comfortable, but offered very little support for your body. Meanwhile, the double bed was incredibly hard, so we had to put blankets beneath the covers to make it okay to sleep on. That aside, the location is fantastic, step outside and you got a straight view to the colusseum. Its a nice cheap option for a great time in Rome. All in all, I'm happy with the visit.

Small hotel just a few steps from the Colosseum. Quiet but lively area all the same. Nice terrace on the fifth floor for breakfast. Very friendly French speaking staff.

This hotel is located very close to colloseum and also close to Roma Termini. Rooms are a bit small but clean. Staff was very friendly.

Second place X who wants to visit the Colosseum! Very convenient and very close! The rooms are nice, comfortable and clean. The staff.

We had a 3 night stay and twice in a row a cleaning lady opened the room, at 10 AM and at 9 AM, only to notice we were still inside. That was very shocking. There is no "Do not disturb" sign nor any way to lock the door. After having spoken to the manager, it seems he does not care at all. The room was very dark and turning the main light on makes you feel like you just entered an hospital room. Breakfast was ok but for the aforementioned issues, I strongly advise against booking in this hotel.

The location is perfect, you can take the metro Cavour by walking two minutes or walk five minutes to the Colosseum. Breakfasts at the garden roof are great, and people working in the hotel were very nice to us. It is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Rome!

An excellent location with many tourist attractions within walking distance, and great restaurants nearby. It's just a 9-min walk to the Colosseum. If you are looking for some authentic Indian cuisines (real Indian food), this is the right place as Hotel Maharajah and Mother India taste beyond perfection. Also the hotel is surrounded by great Pizza places. Breakfast at the hotel was okay, but could have done with more varieties. Rooms were clean, shower okay with a small cubicle. Staff were very gentle and helpful, and they'd be glad to assist you with any information required. However, some negatives did occur during our stay as a shaver and a shower gel was broken, which I believe the person who cleaned was in a rush to finish things off. And also a slow lift, that sometimes stopped operations. Stayed at the 4th floor (Commodo) with a reasonable space that comes with a balcony view. Overall, a very good hotel at a great location, and totally recommended.

Very nice little Hotel in a great neighborhood. We stayed for about a week and a half in 2013 and it was a very good choice for location and price. The staff was very helpful and friendly and although this is one of the smaller European boutique hotels, it had what you needed and nothing that you didn't. The breakfasts were light and the coffee was good. Since this was in such a regular neighborhood, many of the things that you might want or need (if you had lost or forgotten something) are close at hand. It is a short walk to the Cavor stop of the subway or Termini, or shopping and you can see the Colosseum when you walk out the front door (Anfiteatro Flavio). It is small, so if you are going for the first time, you have to pay attention on Via dei Serpenti or you will pass right by it. Great cafe and pizza place right across the street and plenty of restaurants and bars all around this neighborhood. For the money and location, it is a great choice in Rome for a nice little hotel.

OK location and staff. Breakfast is only a crescent bread and coffee.

It was difficult to get a good nights rest here because you can here everything all your neighbors are doing. Centrally located and friendly staff breakfast was nothing brag about. Our room had a very strange odor. I don't recommended this hotel for light sleepers otherwise its OK.

My wife and I stayed at the Flavio for two weeks in August and had a great time. It's walking distance to many of the major sites, as well as bus, rail and subway stations. Don't expect Ritz style luxury, but you'll get all you need for your stay, and, perhaps most important, effective climate control in your room. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and responded quickly and effectively to requests for help. We heartily recommend the Flavio, and intend to return whenever we can. Adrian Spooner.

The hotel is perfectly located, close to the colouseum and loads of good local resteurants and bars and a great irish bar (Finnegans) and Cavour metro station all within a few minutes walk. In the hotel itself, we stayed in the (Caligula) room which was at the rear of the hotel and overlooked other appartments but was quiter as a busy road is to the front, the room was clean and serviced daily, it had a TV but no english channels it had A\C and a heater as it was march we needed the heater and this worked well, the shower was clean and worked well and we found the staff to be excellent (god bless the rugby loving night porter he was fantastic to us) this is not a 4 or 5 star hotel so dont expect that, but what it is, is a very good value for money, clean, safe, friendly hotel in the centre of rome. Good location near the Coliseum. The rooms are relatively small and slightly used. The lift is also tiny so that barely a person fits into suitcase.

Nice Hotel, realy close to Sights like the Colloseum and the Downtown. The Staff was really nice and Helpfull. Free Wifi if you ask for the Password at the Reception. The Breakfast was verry good, Coffee (Italian and American Coffee), Cheese, Ham, Nutella and different Jams were available. The Room was good and was cleaned every Day. Unfortunately, there were only Italian TV Stations. In conclusion, the Anfiteatro Flavio is a verry good 3-Star Hotel and is a recommendation for all People who want a Hotel near the Downtown of Roma.

Despite being in the Center, inside the hotel were able to obtain a very comfortable and quiet. Also good cleanliness.
