This place was fantastic! Our room was great and was able to get nice and cool. We had no issue with noise, and appreciated the snacks and bottles of water that were available in the kitchen. The staff was very kind and it was really nice (and surprising) to have a working elevator as the room was on the 4th floor. We found this place to be a great homebase for our adventures around Rome!
The hotel is in an ideal location, right in the historic centre; just 7 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon and just a few minutes further to the Trevi Fountain or Roman Forum.
The room is spacious with a large and comfortable bed with a great view of the historic temple. The bathroom is large and smart with a great shower.
However, the breakfast really lets it down and nowhere near the “Delicious Breakfast” described. There is a small kitchen with only one table – for just two people. You can make your own coffee and another guest showed us where to find the salami, pre-sliced processed cheese and long-life sliced bread. The only cereal is bran flakes and in May, the “seasonal fruit” means apples. The “freshly baked croissants” are a lie but there are some supermarket-bought cakes. The only good thing is that you can help yourself at any time, useful if you want to make an early start.
