We had an outstanding stay at Palazzo Roma. The service was impeccable from start to finish, and the rooms — as well as all common areas — were spotless and beautifully maintained.

Summary: luxurious, historic, and comfortable stay without the bells and whistles of big hotel chains.
Excellent property with what I can only describe as a luxury, yet super homey experience.

I personally stay here as well as book for clients and this hotel is perfect in every regard.

This hotel is a gem. I couldn't be happier with my choice of the hotel Smeraldo. First of all, the front desk / concierge staff is so helpful and accommodating.

We stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is located in the center of ancient Rome. All main attractions are just a few steps away. Personnel is very friendly and attentive / always ready to help.

Had a wonderful stay here. It's really in a great location for walking as you can get to almost anything of note within 30 mins. The doormen are helpful and also give a nice sense of security.

The hotel is right across the street from a great restaurant called Hedera and a short walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Service was fantastic.

The room was nice. We had a little patio was nice sit and relax for few minutes. The staff was polite and helpful. The bed comfortable and the pillows soft. A plus plus location.

Cutest morning curly hair receptionist, frindly and smile that last for days. Location of Hotel is perfect. 20 minute walk to all major sites.

The rooms are decent and neat, but space was not found to be adequate enough. The breakfast served at the 5 floor cafe was just fine.

The apartments are very close to all the major tourist attraction sites. The Roman forum is 15 min walk. Piazza Navona is 7 min away on foot.

Nice, unique space with a variety of rooms. Our room was fine, but nothing spectacular, and there was no AC. Even in mid-November, we had to keep the window open.

I loved it! Great location, staff was amazing. If your looking for old nostalgic and walking distance to shops and others treasures spots this is for you.
