Almaìt

One of the best central locations to stay in Rome. Very clean and comfortable beds. Only gripe is there was no way to cool the room — even a fan would be helpful in summer. Italians are used to the heat but no Italian is staying there. They need a way to cool the room. It was loud at night but the only way to cool the room is to have the window open. Be sure you have earplugs. Lovely helpful staff.

Great location, within walking distance to all the main attractions in the city. Was a little hard to find but the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and plenty of space for the two of us. All the facilities in the room were really good. There are plenty of restaurants right outside which were all reasonably priced with great food.

We spent a weekend in Rome and stayed at the almait guest house. The staff were responsive for all of our question in advance of the trip and were very accommodating for our needs as Sabbath Observers. The location was amazing. Right in the heard for the Jewish ghetto, we walked everywhere and nothing was far away.
We were traveling with a baby and the elevator was extremely tight so we carried the storler up the step each time we came and left but aside from that everything worked out really well.
The room was very spacious and the ceiling in the room was magnificent.

We were very impressed by this guest house. The interior is very modern and a little quirky as it's an old building that has been very well renovated. The bedroom was spacious with a big and comfortable bed and the bathroom was modern. There was a remarkable and very lovely ceiling in the bedroom which must be an original feature of the building. It's a very central location to explore Rome. The staff were very nice and particularly Ivy on reception who did the quickest and easiest check-in I have ever experienced! — thank you for a lovely stay.

My husband stayed here a few weeks before our visit and had a very good experience. Therefore, he was keen to book and stay again. This time the cost was double previously, but the room did not live up to expectations. We did not stay in the actual Almait guesthouse but were taken to another run down building around the corner. The room was small and seemed still under construction. There was no shelf in the shower to put the shampoo etc and there were wires hanging out of the ceiling etc. Shame.

There is no service at the hotel. I was five nights and did not once see anyone for very basic requests. They give a cell phone number and answer the next day. There was no service and no answer. After I told them this, they blocked my stay in booking as I was not so I would not give a review. There is no answer, charging a lot of money and not justifying.

I stayed last night, due to a malfunction already present in the knob of the bidet I was charged another 100 euros for a damage that I did not bring. The owner sign. Alberto did not deign to answer, taking the money directly from the card without any authorization, so he will respond to the new non-Sign title. Alberto ma di di Sign. Arsenio lupin, so I strongly advise against staying in this structure to avoid other thefts, and I advise the person concerned, to make himself more available to dialogue instead of refraining from any answer, taking his responsibilities, and being ashamed of how he manages his business as a thief.
