The worst experience ever! On tuesday november 27 we woke up at 7:00 am on a renovation and maintanance sounds in the room next to us, and we asked them to stop then they continued with the noises and work at 10:00 am. We complained to the receptionist and she didn't take any action and she told us that this is not true! they didn't even apologized!
Some of the staff were rude and unprofessional, small rooms, bad breakfast, noisy rooms, no eectrical plusgs beside the bed, not very clean. Overall the quality of service and care was way down from my experience, which was quite disappointing. The location remains the best feature here.
I don't recommend it at all.

Very good place! Near to all main attractions! Quality of the hotel would say average! Breakfast very basic, staff are ok (not the best to be honest) … I would requemend this place if you are interested for not staying long hours in the hotel. Very convenient to go by walk and visit trevi Fontaine, colossio, panthéon, … Rooms are not awsome! Beds not comfortable.

Very good location. Very friendly and attentive reception staff and restaurant. Everything is very clean and smelly in the common areas. Breakfasts are buffet style and there is everything (pastries, fruit, cold cuts, cereals, toast, tomato for toast, butter, jams, …). The hotel is very quiet, despite having many people. Without a doubt, if I returned to Rome I would return to this hotel that I recommend to everyone.

Quite an unpleasant stay, minus its location. Rooms were small. Bathroom door opens maximum at a 45degree angle, so you kinda have to go in side way. The carpets were super old, and did not look or feel very clean. And last but not least, breakfast was just awful.

It's a case of imperial hotel. Very good location (at the beginning of Via Veneto). Well-appointed and clean rooms. Beautiful breakfast room. However, breakfast could improve as a quality.

Decent rooms, clean and friendly hotel staff. It is in a great location — very picturesque and close to all of the tourist locations. Lovely little bar at on the corner that does great wine. I would recommend for a short stay — just DONT forget the tax at the end of your stay.

Hotel is terrible. Not clean dirty bedsheet, mood on the wall and mirror. Rude staff and no communication at all. It has ruined my holiday. I am still trying to find a solution from the hotel to fix my issues but no luck so far! Got sick for the dirty and smelly environment. Total disaster!

Some shower and bath necessities are not provided. Conditioner and cream. A 3in1 solution is given. Shampoo/conditioner/soap all in a tiny container. The reception staff was a little cold. Otherwise comfortable sized rooms and reasonable pricing.

Very many negatives, the size of the room and bathroom really very small, as well as the general condition of the bathroom deserves a real shot of new.
The staff did not speak French (only 1 of the stay) despite the fact that they announce it.
The orange juice expired or turned to breakfast not terrible. What about the services, we had to ask for an iron that we were denied for security reasons but without proposing to us to be ironing it for us, not worthy of a 4 star. Good and the little cherry on the cake we had to book by saying we could after a long day wandering around the streets go for a ride at the Hotel Spa, but not closed I think the least of the things these little be to warn on the internal site t. In summary I do not think to be difficult but I think that one can expect better now regarding a hotel supposed 4 star, the standing is not there. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

I celebrated my graduation party at the imperial hotel and highlighting the kindness and availability of all the staff, especially the restaurant manager Mr. Antonio, I consider myself more than satisfied. The buffet was a success both for the abundance and quality of the products. The service was impeccable, in particular I want to highlight the availability of Mr. Antonio for every request I have satisfied with kindness and always with a smile. I recommend it for every kind of party.

Great location excellent staff and a super kitchen. The reception staff puts you at ease with the arrival and cares about your every need. The service generally and the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel overall and above average. Antonio's kitchen is really useful, fantastic "homeowner", to which would go many more "real" stars than virtual ones. Try to believe.

Good hotel, good location, good breakfast. But at the end of the stay I asked to be transfer to the airport and they told me that 50€ the surprise came when I went to pay the taxi driver asked me 55. The explanation that I gave is that it was independent. It seemed to Me a little seriously that the hotel work with these people given to deception.

The price is high, the 4 stars you have do not correspond to the services they provide… breakfast very average, with paper napkins, the coffee you serve it from the machine and the juices are very bad. The rooms are not comfortable, the beds are sunk from the weight of previous guests, they are really uncomfortable. Very high price (350 euros per night). The best was the receptionist who treated us great and was a great help.

Clean and tidy hotel. Direct subway connection in front of the door. Room and bathroom were relatively large. Unfortunately, the breakfast is not special. Small selection (especially for vegetarians) and also uneven. Otherwise everything has fit. Suitcases can be delivered there.

Hotel easily accessible by means (metro, bus, etc. ) and located in a very central area of Rome. Ideal for workers and tourists, the hotel offers many services and a customer care very consistent with its standards.

Absolutely fantastic! Staff are impeccably dressed, extremely friendly reception staff warm welcome on arrival nothing was too much trouble food plentiful hygiene top marks. This is my 2nd stay at this hotel.

Just returned last night from Rome and 3 night stay at Imperiale. Don't normally leave reviews but had read other reviews complaining about the attitude of the staff. I could not compliment the staff enough, they were friendly, helpful and always smiling, from reception staff to waiting staff and housekeeping staff. Our room was clean, nicely decorated and always spotless. The hotel location is excellent for exploring Rome, the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are just a short walk away.

The rooms are spacious. The SPA was not available and we discovered it on site… Single-glazed windows do not protect from street noise. The service is nice. Breakfast is correct.

Today arrived in Rome could leave the luggage beforehand and go to town all within walking distance or metro or bus hotel room clean luggage was brought into room bathroom clean small shampoo, body lotion and shower gel etc. In the bathroom do not understand why the room does not like many people Rome is expensive or if you want to stay in the center you have to cut off here you will find no luxury but friendly staff and a clean room! So far everything OK let's look like breakfast tomorrow morning is yes breakfast…
Unfortunately not at all because I now had to pull off a star café (we are in Rome) from the vending machine quality of food unfortunately suboptimal it did not taste the ham too, example had no good quality or rather he was the cheapest choice room super, unfortunately Seh The noise of the street was also good to hear as well as the toilet flushing of the neighboring room location still ideal in the center next time maybe again…

The first thing to say that if you seek service and professionalism, this is not your hotel we had a mishap and made us pay because I had no insurance, and not happy with it, do not give us a simple bill, surely there are much better hostels than this hotel with Many pretensions and little or nothing to offer… If you want a mixture of smells to amenice your sounds nights this is your hotel… Impossible to sleep, engine noises all night long, I didn't know the airport was so close. (Not not this) Very debatable cleaning, quilts that neither CSI himself would dare to analyze… Definitely keep looking for hotels in Rome, be sure it is not yours.

Terrible!
No handicap access. The hotel smells like sewer and food mixed. A lift of 6 40años ago, for the whole hotel. The breakfast was cold and with a coffee that is dirty water. The dining room so small that you mark them breakfast time although it is already open because otherwise it does not fit everyone. To get to the room you have to go through a maze of hallways and stairs. The heating in the room did not go down 25 degrees and it was so hot that it caused a headache, the thermostat was not working and was useless. The hot tub was not working and it was chopped up and filled with debris in the pecks. To enter the bathroom you had to do it sideways because the door collided with the sink.
It's certainly not worth what it costs.
I would never recommend anyone this hotel as well located as it is.
I have been to hostels with much more value than this hotel.
Maybe 40 years ago it was a great hotel but right now it shows that they have not invested in improving the facilities.

The staff was very helpful Clean SPA with qualified and professional staff.

We stayed at the hotel in a group. Most of our rooms are TINY! Our room is certainly qualify for the smallest room I've never seen before! Breakfast is very basic, staff are not very friendly or interested in their guests. The only positive is its location, but again, there are many other hotels in the area. Do yourselves a favor, try somewhere else.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Great place, was able to walk all around to see everything I wanted and the restaurant food is amazing. You are just able to hear what is going on in the corridors and outside your window. Garbage truck collection is quite early in the morning if you are wanting to sleep in.

Really bad experience! Was Our first trip as a couple and we chose Italy as it was our dream destination at the time. We initiated our visit in Rome that was an amazing city however, this hotel was awful. When we fist arrived to the hotel room we notice right away the bed linen was dirty and then on further inspection we could see toilet paper in the toilet and one of the towels was used. We called the manager right away. She came immediately and after being shown the reason for our concerns she called the housekeeper and they began talking to each other, shouting in front of us in Italian. Because We are Portuguese we could understand most of what was said and we were basically accused of doing that ourselves and we were called liars in front of our faces. We made sure to tell the manger we could understand and we were very offended what she ignored and continued speaking in Italian to the housekeeper, while she cleaned. No apology was given at any point in time to us. The only reason we didn't left was because we didn't was that to ruin our all holiday. If I could I wouldn't give any star.

We (me & my family) had a great stay there the last month. Anything in Imperial Hotel was really fantastic even more than what I expect. Good location nice and helpful staffs, delicious breakfast and optimum cleanness are some of the reasons I suggest Imperial to all of friends and family to stay in when in Rome.

We checked into room 301 and there were some issues. The bathroom shower was poorly designed so there’s standing water and mold in the tub area. The shower head points at the floor of the bathroom so the entire room gets flooded if you try to use it. We asked for a “family room” what we got was a king bed, a converted couch and a roll away bed with barely enough room to move. Skip the free breakfast. You can find a more satisfying cup of coffee just about anywhere else. However I’m pleased that the hotel responded to our concerns, relocating us to another bigger room with a properly designed shower and no mold. Thank you for making our stay more enjoyable.

It's a nice hotel. It's a short walk to the subway. Close to the sights. It's great.

It's a very convenient location. All the main attractions are a 10 — to 20 minute leisurely walk. Right next to it are a large number of restaurants, starting from the entrance to the hotel. Cozy, without pathos. The rooms are small but clean. On request all will do, do not hesitate to contact. Waifai is not stable. The staff are hospitable, like all Italians. Breakfasts are not included in the price of accommodation, closer to continental breakfast.

Very noisy. Bring ear plugs. Plus restaurants outside are tourist traps.

Hotel, location and I try, perfect… I recommend it to anyone to go for Rome and the restaurant that recommends the hotel, also great everything…

I like elegant, sophisticated, generous, and camida scrumptious and very cute and cajedor.

Like many hotels in Rome the star rating can be a little misleading when compared to other cities. But a nice hotel, with welcoming staff. An old building with a rather unusual configuration, but again this is very common in the city. I was here for a workshop with a client and we used the facilities, which were adequate for a small group although the 30 people we squeezed in was a bit tight. They provided a pretty good lunch and I couldn't complain about anything.

I am fortunate to come to Rome often — and when I stay at the Imperiale, I find the staff welcoming, efficient and professional, from the front desk staff to the bellstaff. The breakfast is ample, the rooms clean with an old world style and good airconditioning. PERFECT location. I am always happy when my work brings me back again. The spa is small and fairly basic but does a good job. With so many choices, why review a hotel based on eating at the restaurant? There are so many choices nearby.

Tourist trap when it comes to the food served in the airconditioned outdoor facilities. Spend your money elsewhere.

For a Four Star hotel, I was extremely disappointed with the level of help offered. We were due to be in Italy over the weekend when the volcano hit. I contacted the hotel several times to try and get some concession since no flights could take off and land. The hotel made every effort to ignore me and would not offer me any concessions. All they cared about was the fact that they made money. This after even Airlines are looking to find a way to give partial refunds. This hotel has worse customer service than the airline industry. I will be posting this response on every site I can find.
