Hotel was being renovated and we where not informed.
Window in room completely blocked off could not get any air into the room it was like a prison cell.

Love the place. Close to Spanish steps.

Friendly staff. Very nice rooms. Great location.

Very clean. Noisy with windows open and air conditioner wouldn’t cool cooler then 19.
Very nice modern bathroom. Elevator once you get inside, but about 15 steps at entry. Would be a problem for elderly or with heavy suitcases.

The breakfast area was really small and congested, no proper ventilation or fresh air, old style!

On our last day. Hotel is very clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Great location. Close to the trevi fountains and spanish steps. We walked to the vatican and colessum from here. We would stay here again when visiting rome.

For Via Venice is quite a random hotel of the third class, trying to fit into a number of local hotels — celebrities glitter polished plaque … the same "imitation" and adjacent cafe Alex, which has a transparent pavilion on the street and squalid and squalid technical room in the same house. The same toilet — broken and shattered as a public tole in some squalid suburban market, where the list of necessary sanitary requirements is listed: "bathroom co-equipped" …

Beautiful location, friendly staff and helpful, excellent breakfast and very varied with quality products. I have stayed several times trying different types of rooms always with great satisfaction. Cleanliness and great location.

Excellent location, 2 minutes walk from the metro, 10 minutes from the Trevine Fountain. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Very good service indeed. We would recommend this as a good place to stay in Rome.

Great customer service and amenity. I needed computers and printers, and hotel rounge had them already. Even they provided extra papers as I had to print out documents for US embassy visit. Also, 10% discount for Alex cafe outside and breakfast was good as well. Strongly recommend the hotel!

Absolutely fantastic. Staff great. We are also spending our last night there on our way back to Rome before we head back to Australia. Great Hotel.

Small room, outdated, not too clean (the bedspread had stains) and extremely noisy (every morning awake at 5, 30 with the passage of sanitation). The structure of the hotel is old and the carpet very dirty. The breakfast was cheesy. The only positive note: The staff, very kind, helpful, prepared and patient. I would say an excellent staff in a mediocre hotel.

Disappointed by our experience in this hotel, dark and antiqued room, very average breakfast and unwelcoming staff… The location is ideal between the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain and a few steps from the Metro.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon. The location is actually very nice, and is a 10 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain in one direction, and the The Spanish Steps from the other. Aesthetically the hotel is very nicely designed, and the staff were very helpful of any questions we had.

Very good hotel with a perfect location. Nice and serviceability staff. Great breakfast buffet and always clean. Please take care that you get a room with working Wi-Fi. I recommend to book here a room. The hotel locate only 100 m from the metro and very close to city center. Only 10 minutes by walk.

Nice room with balcony. Quiet and relaxing. Central Hotel, close to the most popular places in Rome. Downtown at two steps. The staff was very helpful Average breakfast. Entrance to the architectural barrier (stairway) but for the suitcases there are the attendants. Paid parking is available nearby (18 euro/day).

It is a historic hotel in the heart of Rome where the Trevi and Spanish steps are located. The subway is steps away and you can access all places from the train. Restaurants are very close and so are the gellateria. Rooms are clean but smaller than American standards but I like it because it is nostalgic and very European. Service is 5 stars. Breakfast is good with local pastries and bacon that is I think homemade.

Nothing that is requested is executed.

This was our second visit to Rome and this hotel. The first visit was a 5 star one for the Alexandra. This one however was not to be. The location is great for many sites, but the rooms are at best mediocre. Loose sinks, loose commode seats, parts falling off showers and the list goes on. Room cleaning was poor. We let the staff know that we were not pleased. Luigi our waiter at the Alex restuarant was a bright spot, Sara at the desk needed additional training to deal with guests. Some of the staff tried to make amends, but it was just not good.

Cozy hotel in central location in via Veneto good value for money.

Great location for all the sites small rooms but perfectly good for a few night stay. Breakfast good.

The hotel is very well situated to visit all the sites in Rome. 1 minute walk to the Metro and bus tour stops. The room we stayed in is newly refurbished and serves a purpose even if it is a little small. Breakfast is lovely with a choice of cereals, cold meats, hot bacon or sausages with scrambled egg, plenty of bread choices, cheese, fruit juices hot drinks and cakes of varying varieties. The reception staff are very helpful and have plenty of resources available. I would stay again.

Excellent location, beautiful rooms, very comfortable Good deal, very polite receptionist and speak many languages. They offer good services and good information to tourists. Highly recommended.

I can't fault this hotel or the staff. Our room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was perfect with lots of choice. The staff so helpful and friendly. When I go back to Roma which I hope I will one day I would not want to stay anywhere else. Perfect location, perfect little hotel and perfect staff. Loved every single minute of my stay in the most wonderful place in the world. Roma.

A wonderful location, very helpful staff… However the room (and bathroom) was very very small. It did not resemble any of the pictures on the hotels website. Rather unfortunate.

Comfortable and convenient. Very good position — close to main tourist sites but not it the heart of the noise and busy-ness, which suited us. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice even if the same each day. Room clean, comfortable bed, and very well serviced by the maid each day. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room was very clean. We touched a room as in the back of the hotel Q you have to go down and go up through a staircase, which is very uncomfortable with suitcases. The carpets at the entrance and hallways were disgusting. In the wall of my room a fissure in diagonal Q crossed the wall. Q makes me think in a tremor the building can come down. Very good breakfast.
Ebes Call for Q you light the air and you can control from the room.

My new wife and I stayed here on the last night of our amazing honeymoon, from Charlotte, NC. We only had a room for one night and we had a double occupancy booked but they had a suite available and upgraded us for free which was really cool. The place is definitely old but it was still nice. Wish we could have tried the breakfast but we had to leave at 6 am to catch our flight.

Our room was a little smaller than I'd like and a little dated, but the bed was very comfortable and that is the most important factor. Mini bar prices are very reasonable compared to my other experiences. The breakfast is better than many places I've stayed and the staff are most helpful.

Great location walking distance to everything. Only complaint is you have to ask for your aircon to be turned on every day. After walking the hot streets of Rome this is annoying.

Very friendly and informative staff. Bed is comfortable and the room is clean, but very very small (typical for the area). Bathroom is pretty cramped and a bit difficult to maneuver around, but clean and functional. Honestly, other than size, it's a great hotel.

Exactly what we needed for our 5 nights in Rome. We had a suite for 3 people which was perhaps more dated that the rooms on the upper floors. However we had plenty of room. The Wi-Fi struggled to get to our room and the breakfast room which was disappointing but the other areas seemed OK. You kept on getting disconnected from it so that needs addressing. Breakfast was typically European but plentiful and varied so no complaints at all from us. The reception staff were generally very helpful and welcoming. Finally, the location is perfect and you can walk to surprisingly many places quite quickly and the Metro is very close for those longer trips.

Stayed here on four separate occassions and always very good. Hotel is nicely situated with Metro and Taxi only a few minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

My first choice regarding Rome. Excellent structure, central and then you are in via Veneto. Visit If you have time the convent of the Capuchins in front of the hotel.

Old bedrooms and bath. Very uncomfortable. They really need to upgrade. Breakfast wasn't good either. Location was near a metro. Apparently this is the closest metro stop to view Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, pantheon.
I would NOT stay here again.

Pretty inline with what we expected. Friendly staff, parking about €30 / day but its Rome so expect parking charges. Small bathroom but overall good experience.

Location, excellent communication, the staff is very friendly and helpful, if you want to go to Rome and be close to everything this is a great option, is very comparable with the 3 star hotels of Spain. Perhaps the only downside is with carpeted floors in the rooms and corridors of the hotel.

Excellent location, close to all tourist attractions, the metro line A station Barberini. Via del Corso, Via Condiotti, etc, very good Breakfast. Attention of the excellent staff, especially Carlo; very good predisposicion to troubleshoot problems that arise, to such an extent that we find a room too small, and we were moved to a "superior Comfort". Also, forget a watch Festina recently bought, we made a note inquiring if he was, the same answered immediately. The clock is in the Administration of the hotel at my disposal. The restaurant of the hotel, it is advisable and offers a 10% discount to people staying there.

Excellent hotel. Best location, right across the street from Hard Rock, Harry's Bar. Lots of restaurants to walk to. Shops around the corner. Best staff! — especially Joseph at the front desk. He will tell you all you need to know about great restaurants, tours, etc. All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Really really great breakfast — — Eggs, toast, ham, pastries, cereal, croisants, etc. Etc. Nice little liquor store around the block. Great restaurant within walking distance is Vladimiro's — — we went there twice it was so good. Or Gregory's bar — make a reservation if the swing band is playing — it will take you back in time and great bar — lots of fun!. You can walk to the spanish steps, trevi fountain — or just catch the bus (make a right out of the hotel and next right at Piazza Barberini) bus stop is on the second block Take bus 62 straight to the vatican or the colisseum or Roman FOrum. (Colisseum and Roman Forum are free on Sundays! ) and bus runs frequently. You purchase the bus tickets at the tobacco shop. A nice rooftop restaurant to your left is at the HOtel Majestic. Say hello to Renzo when you get there! Across the street from Hotel Majestic there is a great little restaurant with live music during the week. If you want to take a day trip — take a cab (10euro) to Termini train station. Then catch the train to Orvieto. You can purchase the tickets right at the train station. 1 hour ride. Great shops! beautiful restaurants — excellent food.

Excellent location in one of the exclusive zones of Rome and within walking distance of tourist attractions. Value unbeatable benefits. The staff is very friendly and cordial.

Very simple Hotel, very nice. Perfect location. I expected a little more for the price, but it was ok one complaint is coffee and breakfast were not very good.
