I am currently staying at Hotel Barocco. The weather in Roma is perfect and so is the Barocco. There are no issues here in Roma and the news gets better every day. It’s a great time to visit Roma and Hotel Barocco.

Beautiful charming hotel — attention to detail.

We have just stayed here to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary and really loved it. The staff were very attentive and helpful and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and very clean. The location of the hotel is perfect and everything is within walking distance of 25 mins and there is easy access to public transport. The area has a lot of restaurants, bars and shopping and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for making our wedding anniversary so special.

This is the best hotel! Right by Spanish steps, walking distance from everything and hotel staff very helpful and sweet! Highly recommend.

The front desk people are amazing! We had a problem with our tour and they called and worked hard to correct the issue.
The room is lovely. Clean, comfortable, top notch amenities. The bed and linens are luxurious.
The breakfast was also very good. I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this hotel! If I ever go back to Rome, we will surely stay there again.

The hotel was a alright. Location was great, staff were friendly. We got the suite for about 270$/night. We checked out the next day and I forgot an item I the room. I came back the next day to request my item and after a long wait of investigation, they told me that the item was found but NOT KEPT. They offerred me to go buy one and they will reimburse me. I didnt have time as I had a flight to catch that same day and I was heading to the airport. I didnt have time to go shopping. Basically there is no lost and found, the found is kept! Its mot honest and it frustrating. Thats the reason why im Giving a low rating.

Such a nice hotel in the perfect location for exploring Rome. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Room was wonderful. Bathroom incredible. Only issue was a noisy and not too effective AC.

Hotel Barocco was incredibally awesome. The room was ready when we got there and the crib for our 1 year old was set up. They got the room for my wife's parents right next to us. The hotel itself is situated within walking distance from the subway directly to the Vatican and you only need to switch at Termini to get to the Colosseum. The hotel is within walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. What a better time to come than on Rome's birthday.

This is the best hotel if you want to stay in the center of city. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good with a huge variety to choose from.

Fantastic hotel, careful attention from the first moment, an excellent staff attentive to any need. It is very close to the Metro so you can get around. It will certainly be my first choice when I return to Rome.

Stayed here for one night but was extremely comfortable. Location was fantastic, walking distance from the Spanish steps and the main shopping areas. Staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean with good sound proofing (a little tight but that's generally normal in Europe). Breakfast was excellent with a good variety to choose from. The only thing that stopped me from giving this place 5 stars was that the heating was central. Meaning they control the temperature for the whole hotel (I was there in the winter). It was a bit too warm for me, opened up the window a few times to lower the temperature. Not sure if it's the same for the AC in the summer.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in lovely people and so helpful. Stayed for a friend's birthday and had complementary Procecco and lovely little cakes left in our rooms a lovely touch. Also breakfast very good it all made our stay in Rome all the better would highly recommend this Hotel.

Great location.

The first impression was not very good, everything we found very small, but we conquered with the cleanliness, the details, and above all… its staff. We felt like we were at home.

Excellent value, well appointed rooms with lovely, functional bathrooms, and superb beds. Balconies to enjoy the sun or night air, and a bar/breakfast. Cannot recommend enough!

Ideal location (Trevi Fountain and Spanish place to walk, just like Villa Borghese), super comfortable bedding, original bathroom, Windows deadening perfectly the room, excellent breakfast… I recommend!

The staff are very helpful and smiling. The rooms are impeccable in terms of space and hygiene. Special Mention for breakfast in the form of buffet with possibility to order a la carte.

Classic and level Hotel located in a great location.

Hotel and staff excellent. Breakfast buffet really varied and very good with the possibility to ask for special preparations. A 2 steps from the subway and all the major sites. No bad surprises.

This hotel was the perfect base for our 1st trip to Rome. This is a very classy boutique hotel. The staff are warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble — everyone was so keen to ensure that our stay was good and it was nothing short of perfect. Must mention the breakfast which was truly outstanding — a lovely selection of hot & cold dishes plus cereals juices & gorgeous fresh bread. On arrival there was a lovely bowl of fruit in our room and on our last evening we returned to find a some little cakes & a hand-written note thanking us for staying etc. Little touches like this sum up our experience of the Barocco — utterly outstanding and not only will be recommending it to all our friends but we're already planning to return next Spring. Finally I must add that we were delighted to receive a proper key as opposed to the usual plastic card.

Great location, recently renovated rooms but almost no windows.

This place was very nice. The rooms were elegant and clean, and they even put out a plate of fresh fruit, which was delicious. The breakfast was great too. I would absolutely stay here again!

Pay very expensive but the room is very small and poor. The heating system does't work from very early morning. Not worth at all.

When he first visited Rome, my husband and I live in this fabulous hotel in six nights. Our "superior double room" upgraded to "Deluxe", and it's free, it's a surprise! Our 34th room you can directly see babeilini square and Bernini's beautiful Fountain of Neptune. Beds very comfortable, rooms elegantly decorated and clean. Bathroom very good shower inline, six different color lights. Hotel is located in the city centre, walk to the Trevi Fountain, Gallery beta …

I do travel a lot, but this is one of the best value for money options! It is not the cheapest but it definitely worth it's price! Location is amazing and very convenient, walking distance from most of sights, subway if you need to go far is around the corner! Breakfast is nice, staff is very helpful and provide real concierge service if you ask them!

Hotel Barocco was absolutely amazing! The location was great and within minutes of walking to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was great. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected of European hotels. It was withing walking distance to the metro which was able to get us to all the tourist sites in the city. Would definitely stay here again if I am in Rome.

Mid-town to down, from the Spanish Square, the Trevi Fountain 10 minutes, and service is very warm.

This is a nice little hotel conveniently located near the Bernini Metro Station. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is extremely attentive. The front desk staff in particular seem to go out of their way to be accommodating. And the maid service! They must go into the rooms 3 or 4 times a day, making the bed, checking constantly if there is even a slightly damp towel to switch out. The hotel puts out a very nice breakfast buffet and makes eggs to order. My only complaint was the view out of our room into an ugly back alley. I think some rooms look out at the Palazzo, but we were not fortunate to receive one.

Amazing staff and service. Beautiful room, within walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Nice fruit plate on arrival, offered to make us a light breakfast when our driver was picking us up at 0330 to leave and we would miss the buffet. Offered directions, recommendations and always with a smile. Highly recommended.

When I began my journey planning my trip to Rome, Italy, I researched approximately 200 hotels before choosing “Hotel Barocco. ” The reason I choose it? There was not one negative response in any of the reviews that I read about this magnificent hotel. So, my thoughts are, when in Rome and need a “Home Away from Home! ”. This is it, Rome Hotel Barocco! Friendly, helpful, wonderful staff, clean as a whistle, quiet, breakfast in the morning served with a smile (even in your coffee cup! ), beautiful location, all the hot water you need to relax and enjoy your shower, daily maid service with fresh everything. I loved it! 10 stars indeed! also. Within walking distance to many of the attractions, except perhaps for the Vatican, and the Metro (subway) is a few steps right out the front door of the hotel! My reservation was for one of their single rooms which would have been fine for my husband and I too. (ps. As far as the view from my room. It didn't matter. I was there to visit and see everything outside of my hotel room, not sit and look out my window. :0) The dining room was delightful too. Not sure why someone would write gloomy, but we're all entitled to our opinions. ) Highly recommended.

A real find — lovely little hotel within walking distance of the centre of Rome. Rooms are smallish (standard for Italy) but beautifully furnished. Service is excellent and breakfast to die for (again, unusual for Italy). Great for business or a romantic weekend.

I find that the Hotel Barocco is very refined, groomed and equipped with a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful; Besides, the location is wonderful, since it is located in the Centre of Rome, just a short distance from the most important cultural centres.

Its a good hotel, but something about the ambiance is kind of gloomy esp the breakfast location. their staff are not as friendly as other similar hotels around.

Great location — close to trevi fountain, Spanish steps, next to Barberini metro stop (2 stops to Roma Termini station). Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. The one downside — no great views from the rooms. For views + all this convenience try Barberini Bristol.
