We were prepared for a modest, no frills, old-fashioned hotel, but checked out the day of arrival and hope others won’t make the same mistake we did. The hotel is situated within a bigger building, so some floors are people’s homes while others are part of the hotel. Upon entering the room we were hit with a heavy Parmigiano cheese smell and found more defects and dirtyness every step we took further in the room, not to speak of the tiny shower, no tile mat, impossibly cramped toilet space and a hot fridge. After checking other areas of the ‘hotel’ floor it became clear everything was in the same state and getting out of there was the only option for us. Hotels like this can be very charming, but this is not one of those.

We didn't enjoy r stay at the hotel Embassy last week in Rome. We were there for three nights. The rooms were clean but the breakfast and the treatment from the staff was very bad. We met three receptionists and two of them were very mean and did not help us understand what they were saying. It is not addapted for people in wheelchairs and there are almost no services offered for guests. We will definitely not repeat in this hotel nor will we recommend it to anyone.

The prices are very competitive for the area.

There are no beds, they are cots!
Mattresses expired.
Cistern is wrong.
They're lying about the elevator, two steps to get to the fourth floor.
Unpleasant smell.
Fleas on the rug! If! We can show you the stings.
A total disaster, I don't recommend it in the slightest.

It's the hotel of my house! Small rooms but you can please yourself.

Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and the breakfast was very good.

The only good thing about this hotel is location. Everything in hotel is like 50 years old and desperately needs renovation. Room was pretty dirty, floor, walls, carpet, super old and smelly blankets… Too expensive for what you get, strongly recommend to avoid this dirty holl.

Bad, rooms that smell of humidity, very old all its facilities, the air conditioning is bad, it does not deserve the three stars that it has but in Italy it is so, I had to change the room the mattress was sunk and very very dirty not to mention the bathroom.

Spartan deco room, water-repellent mechanism faulty, but clean.

Ideal to rest and continue enjoying Rome.

Decent price for the center of Rome, but still too expensive for the benefit: only sweet breakfast and very little choice, dirty room, defective equipment, noisy at night (but like all hotels in Rome), the staff is rather nice on the other hand.

The bathroom smelled like mildew.

Centrally located and friendly, but very old facilities. The worst: shower with fixed artichoke, little water pressure and very bad hair dryer.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice deal. The worst small shower tray and with fixed shower.

13 min Akshkom from the Termini railway station.
The Coliseum is a 25-minute walk away.
Stayed for 4 nights at the end of January. The room is small, old renovation, but everything is clean and cozy, the air conditioner Prisutssvuet and works. Heat. Breakfasts are not European, but as it is accepted in Italy: various kinds of coffee, muesli, yoghurts, croissants and other buns, toasts, jams.
We are satisfied!

Good location close to Central Terminal, quiet neighborhood. The parts gdes clean and tidy. The piece has hot air, TV, minibar.

A Stone's throw from the Republic Square. You can reach the Trevi fountain or the Pantheon with a pleasant walk. Clean and basic room 24h reception. Good and plentiful breakfast (photo), after check out they keep your luggage until evening.

We all really enjoyed the stay in Hotel Embassy in January 18. We booked standard room on line than at the Hotel we bought the upgrade in Superior for less than 20 € per day. Bigger room on 4th floor. Good Italian Breakfast and Super Staff! Thanks to David.

Just spent 4 nights in Rome at the Hotel Embassy and was truly impressed with this little hotel. The rain shower was nice and the room surprisingly large. Mr David in Reception upgraded for free in a larger room on 1st floor. I booked a not refundable doublebedroom for a special price in November for Ny's Eve. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here and appreciated all of David's advice and guidance. Would totally recommend this hotel. I can't wait to return to Rome, whenever that is I'd be more then happy to stay here again, I recommend very highly.

Hotel Not really new loves dated however convenient for location, great breakfast buffet and screened service, my girlfriends and I found it very good.

Great place… For the rest let it be!

People taking care are very good, friendly, professional, hard working. But hotel itself past its live span. I had mould on the ceiling, furniture falling apart, bed with shape of thousands of backs printed in. Little reconstruction can shift this to the top. Hotel is in 5-30 minutes walking distance to any Roman whatever like coloseum, Spanish stairs even Vatican.

Small rooms and itchy beds, very thin sound isolation (as in u could hear ur neighbors everyday talk). Tiny bathrooms. But the clientele was very polite and helpful and location was good.

Breakfast needs improvement — only sugar is being served unfortunately. And a little more expensive compared to what is offered. Location is good but you have to walk more than 30min to reach the hotel for down town. I wouldn't easily recommend this hotel for future visitors.

Cheap but don't except an exceptional hotel. Just correct. Breakfast not crazy, shower really small and bad isolation. But the situation is good and the price correct.

Located near Termini, room quite spacious. Everything's more than enough.

Untidy! Old carpet, walloaper and forniture. Noisy street outside. Terrible impression. Not to close to old city, because it is area with institutions buildings, banks etc but not so far Coloseo. In rooms small fridge, air condition, TV.

Nice sized room. Very friendly staff. A little far from Roma termini train station but not bad. Excellent morning coffee.

We just arrived in Rome yesterday after a long journey from Texas. When we walked into our room the smell of cigarette smoke smacked us in the face. It was saturating the room. The bathroom smelled even worse. The shower was so small you could not bend over to wash your feet. The bed was like a trampoline and the blankets were also saturated with smoke smell. I booked another hotel right down the street for double the price. The management offered another room, but were not willing to allow me to recuperate any of the cost. We were there for an hour and paid 700 euros. I gladly ate the cost to not ruin our 10 day trip with these accommodations.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, but the bathroom a bit on the small size. Over all good. Would use them again.

Comfortable rooms just a bit weighed down by time located in a great area easily accessible to public transportation.

Live like the Romans. I would use this phrase to define this structure, housed in a palazzo on Via Salandra just a few hundred meters from piazza Barberini. Walk you can easily reach Piazza di Trevi Fountain, Spain and to arrive at Piazza Fiume and all the beautiful shop in Via Po and Via Salaria are a few minutes walk. The district where the Hotel is very elegant, adjacent to Villa Borghese.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves thanks to the suggestions of one of the owners, Mr. David.

Clean room, ok bathroom, fully functional and very convenient location, very close to the city centre. The staff is very friendly. Recommended!

It's very good hotel, with light and pretty rooms.

The hotel is geared in a building with other homes, a curious solution but you get used to it. What don't you get used is very small and the lack of bidet.

Ever seen a hotel in an ordinary building, one sees that the owner has bought four apartments in a building on the ground floor, on the third and fourth floors,
-to move up in the rooms you use elevator apartment building
-has independent entrance as all hotels, but you play to one of the bells of the condominium
-furniture is very modest
I've had three stars, but this doesn't look like a hotel, to be considered pious apartments of dense rooms.

Excellent hotel for several reasons: Hotel that meets everything I think necessary for your visit to Rome, clean, good service, in quiet rest, good price.
The location just 15 minutes walking from La Fontana de Trevi, near Termini station and just in front of the hotel stops of buses that take you to the Center or even the 64 that leaves you in the Coliseum.

Hotel Central, comfortable and moderately priced.

Definitely an excellent choice!
I arrived at the Hotel during the summer, Rome in August is hot, the taxi dropped us at the front door of the building in via Salandra 6, we were initially puzzled by the entrance, in fact you have to climb a few stairs inside the building to access the hotel.
Then, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm reception from the boy and fresh in the Porter's lodge.
Devid, it was a great prompter of places to visit in town, in the days after he stopped several times with us in the breakfast room to help us plan our day!
Amazing, have a service so good in a small Hotel.

Initially puzzled hotel — it is not located in a separate building, but simply has a wing on each floor of the House, where many other organizations (and even one like hotel). Fotj hotel's website are made correctly and this feature is not visible to them. That is, you come into the common room, the entrance to the wing at the reception. Want to their second floor pass is like walking through the common stairs (or going on a general lift), you pass by the entrance to the hotel by a private doctor doors, past the Office any Office related to Linguistics is the entrance to the wing, which belongs to the hotel. The breakfast is analogous to going to the third floor, resembling a separate wing — there is equipped with dining room.
But the hotel itself turned out to be milejšim. Staff very friendly, all speak English. The room, although I had the easiest small double-air conditioning and even free Wi-Fi, it is not necessary to ŝemit′sâ with noutom staff. Breakfasts on the composition is not very diverse-cereal, yogurt, pastries, but I lacked. Coffee from the vending machine nice — Italy yet, here, seems to be of anything will make good coffee. The staff is very good every day, bed linen changed even though I was only 4 nights. The only drawback is no laundry/valet service, or at least the room with ironing facilities — instead, you can go to the laundromat in 7 minutes walk.
