Perfect Italian Boutique Hotel… Perfectly located in walking distance to many attractions. Our room was clean and spacious and hotel staff was attentive and accommodating. If your looking for an experience other than the typical cookie cutter hotel, you can’t get more authentic than HMR. Truly, a hidden Italian gem.

A very nice place. The staff has always been extremely polite and accommodating. They speak English very well. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I would stay here again for sure.

Beautiful authentic hotel. The staff is ever ready to meet your needs and do so with a smile. Example, when we checked in we had a small concern, the front desk sent up Loradonna to check on it and she explained the ironing smudge. She insisted that she change out the sheets for us. She took such great pride in the presentation of this room. A real sense of family commitment to our enjoyment of the hotel. We wil stay again — thank you.

The only downside is the menu of the restaurant, very simple.

Fantastic hotel, just off the beaten track, quiet enough to not hear any traffic from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough that major attractions are easy to get to.

I stayed here for 3 nights The hardest Bed I've ever slept on, seriously no exaggeration. The walls are absolutely paper thin you hear every person talking as if they were standing at the foot of your bed, the doors to the rooms are heavy and the hotel staff are generally loud so there are tons of loud booming noises from doors slamming and chairs moving, people also go into the garden early in the morning and speak right outside your window. I have never stayed in a hotel with thinner walls. Also the plastic shampoo holder fell off the wall and Shattered in the shower Went for a 5 hour tour of the Vatican, came back to the room, they didn't clean up the room make up the bed etc. So I didn't have any fresh towels and had to go to front desk to get some. (You will need to shower the Vatican is very packed place with many many rooms very hot and stuffy) The hotel is also located uphill from the major street so every time you go to walk somewhere you have a tiresome mini climb at the end of the day. It's also down a sketchy street, but honestly in Rome most places are! Also the Wi-Fi cuts out frequently and websites won't Load The wall mounted hair dryer is broken and dosent work. My wife was not happy about this They also don't do laundry on the weekends. The breakfast is very barebones like most hotels in Italy, some cereals, yogurt, some juices, a Nutella croissant, two meat cold cuts and a cheese, some scrambled eggs and hot dogs chopped up?

The location was very good and the staff were very friendly.

Amazing location very close the subway and piazza espana. Very warm staff and great breakfast with clean rooms. They also helped us to find a good restaurant nearby there. Really recommend :) This is not a problem, but if plan to rent a car this area is not allowed to drive (restriction zone).

Excellent hotel in the centre of Rome,
Ideally located, the Modigliani is a very good address in Rome, a rare clean, with a staff very symptatique and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, and you can even
eat there very good pasta in the evening. Recommend.

I stayed for 6 days at hotel Modigliani in October 2014, wonderful hotel, facilities and room, and one of the best staff I have seen, very supportive and always willing to help.

Today a week ago we were in Rome… loved your hotel! Super central just a short walk from most sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and great art on the walls of the hotel:) will definitely recommend to friends and be back again :D grazie mille!

My wife and I spent 8 days in 602 which gives a view of the Vatican, Victor Immanuel Palace (nicknamed the wedding cake) and a fine balcony with 2 doors. In late March early April we had wonderful temperate breezes, songbirds, and a quiet setting. The staff was uniformly very helpful and genuinely friendly, with vastly better English than my Italian. They arranged for to and from airport transfers, restaurant reservations, and cabs. Rome is expensive — this superior room goes for >$400 per night — you can cut costs with no view and less space. I would stay there again without hesitation. Food service is limited to breakfast which is adequate in a cheerful setting. Very quiet setting — important.
