The Marsala hotel is cheap and nicely located right by the train station. We therefore didn't have very high expectations when we arrived. They were met, and perhaps even exceeded. The bad things first: The building is not very nice, the reception area is narrow, the hotel seems to have been last decorated around 1978 and not all roooms have private bathrooms, you might have to share. Yeah, and no air conditioning. If you can't sleep when it's hot, try another place. For us, it was no problem. Our room had a bathroom. It also had clean sheets on the bed, towels and a small balcony. The bed was ok. All in all we found the hotel somewhat charming, and not as bad as the worst of theother reviews here at all. But of course, it might have to do with expectations. It is first of all cheap!

Super cheap hotel, not pretty but functional. It's right across the street from Roma Termini, so it was perfect for my early departure to the train back to the airport.

From the fact that you can not call HOTEL but stall… Dirty, ugly, old, shared bathroom from the third World, all night door noises not what of my great-grandfather's era. I advise against it… I would understand how it got 2 stars. I'm really grounded.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff affable, but a bit overpriced (Wi-Fi for a fee) for the services it offers. For example the shared bathrooms for certain room types, and the same hygiene of the latter left to be desired. Make it a choice the proximity to terms.

Good location, beautiful place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room's have a beautiful view to Sacro Cuore di Gesù a Castro Pretorio. Room price is very good too. I recommend this place for all who need cheap room in good location.

This is the worst hotel I've ever seen. The staff are unsympathetic, a cold home. The tax that has risen to almost 40euros for 3personnes. Wifi paid 3euros/hour. The room was certainly vast but as soon as we arrived there was a very unpleasant smell of tobacco mixed with the fragrance of unbearable man. The curtains were dirty. The bed CT beds that dated from the time of my grandparents had no mattress but iron stuff, so I had very bad back to the alarm clock. In the morning c the bells of the church d next to us reveillaient. Ct nightmarish. And to top it off the toilet really NO how.

One less star only for the space but cleanliness and kindness of the staff almost impeccable! Very convenient for those who travel a few steps from Termini station is practically opposite!

The hotel is located 3 minutes from Termini station. The single room with private bathroom is convenient but it wobbles and rattless at all corners. WLAN €5 a day. And outlets in the room are scarce. Either pull the refrigerator or bedside lamp out of the socket to load its devices.

We booked my boyfriend and I through the agency, so without looking at the reviews we trusted. Once read the reviews had come the fright, only bad ratings. We think "maybe the competition wants to diminish it, we hope! " But no, we have no words to express the condition of the room. Cold, dirty, old, creepy. Doors of the ' 600 that are not even open by themselves, every little noise you hear from the rooms next door. Dirty Mirror, TV encrusted with dust and incidentally not working. Hairs in the sink, drain button full of stains of I don't know what, laundry towels. And luckily we happened to the room with the bathroom in the room! (The other rooms have shared bathroom so I think this is the suite in their own way) the bed is not double but two singles put together. I woke up so sore that instead of asking "Where's the breakfast? " I said, "Where's the physiotherapist? "
The bathroom light is not working, the water mixer does not adjust well, either you freeze, or you cook.

The location and service are fine, the hotel as such is regular and the rooms have no bathroom. Over noise not bad, the problem is a bell tower that is next door that sounds at 7:00. You also have to keep in mind that it is a cheap hotel.

Regarding the place: it was not a dirty place, but it smelled unpleasant, so it was uncomfortable. Worst “hotel” ever. Bathrooms are dirty and have mold all over the walls, there’s a sink in the room but it clogs, there’s dust everywhere, the bed is old and the springs are sticking out, Wi-Fi is NOT free (3€/1h or 5€/day. And that’s for one device only), towels are an additional 2€. Definitely do not recommend and I will surely not stay here again. The biggest problem is not being old, it’s not feeling clean and safe.

Give the bed you sleep in some respect guys, it may be older than your grandpa If you need boiling water for making some tea or instant noodle, get into the bathroom and take some from the shower, it would be perfect I stayed in a hotel room that TV was provided without the remote, a celling fan was installed but the control panel is broken, and the antiseptic smell was so heavy. This hotel is even worse than a cheap hostel. The only advantage is, it lies next to the Termini train station.

Despite the centrality of the hotel and its proximity to the Termini station, the service in itself is bad; shared bathroom outside the room and not private, cleanliness of the rooms and the same bathrooms that leaves to be desired and price not really cheap.

Great location near the central station. Mostly clean, nice attendants and we could leave our bags there after checkout. 24 hour reception. Had to pay for Wi-Fi. Double bed was actually 2 single beds stuck together.

We were very lucky to have a more 'new' silent room. It was really silent, because we didn't hear a thing from outside. We had our own bathroom, which was very nice. Also we had a little fridge so we could keep our water cold, very handy! They also cleaned our room every day! That, plus, the location, all for €15 pp made it a wonderful stay.

An affordable hotel near termini. Nothing fancy.

Prices were really cheap, we booked two rooms for six people. The room we had didn't include a toilet but the shared toilet was pretty clean. The rooms were also clean and simple but was really noisy as it is located at the roadside. Since we live on the first floor, we made eye contact with many of the people on the road.

Not worth the stated price you have to add Internet cost and stadium fee. It is noisy and not welcoming. I don't recommend it. Only advantage is the proximity to Termini.

For the price, it's decent. We stayed 4 nights. The location is by far the best. Right across the Termini Metro and train station. The rooms are clean and ok. You have to keep in mind you only there to sleep and can't be picky, of your picky then consider paying a higher price. They can update the beds and the sheets but for the prices it didn't bother me. The reason it's not a 5 star is they charged me for an additional person because of my 2 year old daughter, who sleeps with us. It's the first hotel that we were charged for her and even though the guy was nice he saw the opportunity and charged me almost 20 Euros. Again don't have high expectations but it's worth it for the price if your budget conscious.

Good location in the city center of Rome. No property problems in our room. The hotel is quiet.

Hotel overlooking the street so very noisy. It is also close to a church, so the clock rings every hour. The neighborhood itself was very noisy. The bed was horrible, they stuck 2 mattresses a place to give what was supposed to be a double bed. The mattresses separated with each movement on the bed. The shower and toilet are common and not clean at all. The TV goes on standby 45 minutes after turning it on, even if you are watching it. You hear the sound but no picture. You have to turn it off, wait a good thirty minutes before turning it back on. In short we will not go back to our next visit to Rome.

Location is extremely convenient as it is walkable (even with luggage) from Roma termini. Hotel is nicer than the typical Best Western in the United States. Breakfast was also quite typical as well.

Simple clean and very modern, staff helpful and friendly and the bed is so comfortable. Location is ideal just across the road from Termini. Handy for airports and trains.

Low prices are perfectly compatible with the service offered.

Cheap and pretty comfortable for the price. Rooms are pretty basic, but it was clean and so close to the station.

Hotel a bit old but remains in Rome nice ideal to visit Rome by foot as close to almost any site is not a luxury hotel that's for sure, but for a few days where a weekend that's fine TERMINI station is next door.

The place is a mess! The room was dirty and smelled cigarettes! Awful and without air condition (only fan) in June is unbareble.

We had the room next to the Porter's lodge and the breakfast room and were on the whole satisfied. The location next to Roma Termini is very good and to get there quickly everywhere from there. For the price in Rome, the hotel itself is quite OK. Bathroom and toilet were not relatively clean, the bed, the room very dark, but it quietly. The steel basement door of the room seems weird. The breakfast is not worth mentioning, and should not be booked. The free storage option for luggage in an adjoining room is practical on the last day prior to departure. The rising of the road is not accessible.
