Friendly people, ooms not so good, a little expensive for what Q is.

We booked 2 rooms each with their respective bathroom but upon arriving they tell us that we should share a bathroom that is out of the rooms before our claim they tell us they feel it and that is what they have available and that to make up for our hassle we were going to in Conclude breakfast the days we were staying. The room was clean, had Wi-Fi connection, the staff was very friendly at all times always willing to help with any questions. The heating only lights up at times. The location is very good, close to the train station and to a street of a main avenue full of shops. The hotel is expensive for what they offer but apparently all the accommodations are expensive in Rome.

Hotel for anything as described. Very small room Dirty and stained floor. Old elevator that gives you no security to use it. Shower in the room with a broken door and from which very little water was left to wash.

Ideal for people with a small budget and no high expectations of the equipment. The rooms were small but clean. The staff helpful. Ideal for people who just want a place to sleep and for their stuff. From the hotel you are quickly downtown and can do just about anything on foot. For foot lazy, the train station is 5 minutes away.

Scrupulously clean, affordable, and extremely competent and friendly staff. I cannot overstate how much I enjoyed staying here.

Nice place to stay. Is close to main attractions, shopping stores, metro and train stations. Rooms in good condition, a little bit small. You may share bathroom and/or shower. Staff is cheerful, and caring. They gave us a map, suggestions for our stay taking in account to the time we planned to spend in Rome. I will be back for sure.

We stayed here when we went to Rome. Location is fantastic — Close to everything and walking distance to everything and even the train station. We were greeted with aged whiskey. Only thing is that the restrooms were a bit old and not in the room which is not a problem. I will be staying here again in my next visit to Rome. Literally you can walk anywhere from here.

Rooms were clean and well taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful. However the shared amenities (toilet and shower) were really tiny and hard to use.

The staff is always ready to listen and fulfill every request.

Location was good and close to one of the main shopping streets and only 20minutes walking away from the central tourist spots and if you'd wish to travel further the metro and train station was within 10 minutes away. We got bumped up to a better room than we had booked because it lacked a double bed so we got one with a shower and a spare bed, I don't know how our room should have been but this one was okay. The bed was big and comfortable but the shower was small and the floor was slippery. The staff was very friendly and that added to a better rating. Common bathroom was narrow and long, lacked soap and there were only 2 fromwhat I saw.

Sparse rooms, door of the room that lets you filter light of the hallway and noises present all night.

The hotel location is good (though not perfect). About 15-30 minutes by walk to the main attractions. The metro station is pretty close to the hotel. About 15 minutes by walk from the Termini. The staff in the hotel is extremely nice and the place is VERY quiet. CONS: — There is no lobby in the hotel where you can communicate with others — The rooms are pretty old but clean and comfortable. All in all, a very fair price for the hotel. Not a fancy one but was definitely worth the price.

Great hotel, friendly staff and cozy and clean rooms!

Came all the way from KSA we were late and the room got cancelled but the staff helped us and hooked us with another room, very central location, friendly staff, clean rooms; very recommended place:) defiantly worth looking at.

My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel Texas! The staff is very helpful! They provided us with a map of Rome, circling the important areas and provided the quickest walking directions to each location. They even let me borrow one of their Italian dictionaries for the day! It is in a great location, close to the train station and in between many of the attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others! :)

Situated in strategic position to Via Firenze 47, near of Piazza della Reppublica subway and 10 minutes walk from Termini station, this hotel was a nice decent accommodation at a reasonable price with wonderful staff.

Zero rating. This is NOT a hotel it is a collection of basic rooms inside a large building. There are no facilities in the rooms. Pictures online are not of the rooms at this hotel, at least not the room I had, there is a bed a wardrobe and a table. We had to share the shower and toilet on the floor with the other guests, the showers was only 40cm x 40cm. I am not a big person but I couldn't fit in there. The staff on reception are so noisy I can hear then all night long. The sound travels a lot in this building. I am sure that the people outside knew what me and my girlfriend were doing in our room. The demanded payment half way through our stay, late at night as we were returning ready to go out for dinner, this spoiled our day, spoiled our dinner which didn't happen, it spoiled what should have been a romantic weekend in Rome. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, and its not like its cheap. This hotel room cost 90 euros a night, in most parts of England I could stay at a 4star hotel for 90 euros a night. This type of room in the UK would typically only cost £30. I have been ripped off, expensive, basic, noisy, rude staff. It was clean. This type of hotel should be closed down and sites like this one should stop advertising it, as we the public tend to trust your sites then we are disappointed. L. Jones.

Hotel in a 19th century building. Since nothing has been renovated. The doors don't close. The microscopic showers and in ruins. Period bedding. Torn and stained wallpaper and paint. The Windows no longer close and simple glazing on the street. The box bases hold with tape. Don't expect to sleep because inside and outside noises, no curtains in the windows.
Breakfast is poor (warmed bread and butter) served in front of the reception itself in a hallway.
Positive Points: Helpful staff, clean sheets, very well placed in Rome.

Sorry to say, but this really disappointed me. Is in a filthy Palace, quite decadent. I booked a double room, with twin beds, bathroom, hairdryer, minibar as was pointed out at the time of reservation and instead I found myself in a very bad room with no bathroom, no tv, no anything.
So I asked to have at least one room with full services and I found myself in a closet, with the furniture and doors falling apart. Breakfast is served in the lobby and with only 4 tables.
Although everything is well located, the rooms are clean and the staff is courteous.
Anyway I'd call it 1 star, instead of 2.
