Disgusting hotel. Room was tiny and filthy. The couch looks like it was pulled from a landfill, caked in dirt and stains. Floors and walls were badly scratched, scuffed, stained. Hair dryer had lip stick all over it. The train runs right in front. Street is dirty and not close to the sights. Front desk staff was not very helpful at all. We walked in our room and went to a new hotel, The Grand Hotel Palatino, which I would HIGHLY recommend. Hotel Best Roma is by no means in anyone's imagination a 4 star hotel!

Staff was nice and helpful… BUT that's the only good thing. The room was outdated, plaster was falling from the ceiling, and there's no trace of soundproofing so it was crazy noisy. The breakfast was so-so… You had better to go out (even at the supermarket around) to get something better.

THIS IS NOT A FOUR STAR HOTEL! It's a hostle! I promise you it's terrible. I was so disappointed. The duvet are horrible blankets which they don't wash! no kettle in the room. Very far from central room, close to colosseum but whats the point when you pay $30 for taxi to central. There's nothing around the area apart from a pizza shop. Forget Wifi! showers are mouldy! honestly it's a shock how this hotel is a four star! don't even get me started on breakfast! absolutely disgusting! two peace of bread, two peace of horrible cheese, cold coffee!

Amazing customer service. Nice hotel. Don't let the neighborhood fool you.

The hotel is clean and spacious. Rooms are a little dark but otherwise comfortable. Decor is chintzy. Breakfast is depressing — coffee is the worst. Staff are helpful and city maps are available at reception. 20 minute walk to the Colosseum.

Like everything else in Italy, and especially in Rome, it looks more than it is. Four star Hotel that in Spain would barely arrive at 2. Not bad at all, but do not expect what they advertise (visually). Very apparent and well-made photos that then disappoint. Small rooms, some reformed.
No dining room, only a small stay where they give breakfast (better, although not bad in relation to the quality of the hotel).
Important: The neighborhood is not very good. Dangerous at night especially the back, which leads to Termini station.
I recommend the restaurant that is next to the hotel on the same sidewalk, a little higher. It's called "320 Gradi. "

The staff are nice, I found the breakfast correct, certainly the rooms are small and the bathroom allows to use the toilets at the same time as the shower.
But, unfortunately, an English school trip was hosted on our floor, the finesse of the walls combined with a lack of blatant Education to transform our stay into Calvary.

Two stars that is what is left over, small room, and the bathroom with a super small shower, you can not wash your feet because you can not get to it, so it washes you to pieces, the breakfast what is going to end is not reposed, if it is well connected to public transport,

Clean but very small rooms. It's not far from the center but you have to take transportation to go.
Breakfast is fine, buffet type.
The Wi-Fi arrives in the middle of the room and the other half does not.
The hair dryer does not work… there is only one plug in the double room! If you're going 2 people carry a thief to charge the two phones.

Room small, bathroom idem at night it is unfortunately noisy and breakfast is unfortunately not my expectations.

The staff is friendly. The room is OK but noisy (on the street), the shower room is too small, the TV/radio does not work, the bar does not match the inventory, the breakfast is some in a cramped room (especially when one crosses a group every morning).

Very clean hotel, very poorly soundproof room and nuisance in the night, shower room too small and no big choice for breakfast even no fresh fruit (fruit salad ready) while we can spot the orange trees in Rome.
We stayed in a road side room and much too noisy despite the double glazing.

I wish I could give zero. This is a two stars hotel with a four stars price. I don't know where this company gets the nerve to serve such poor service and still display "Four Stars Hotel". I'll try to explain, please keep in mind; •we are talking about a hotel that is supposedly FOUR stars •my stance was mid February (less than 10°C/50F temperatures, on average). •we could not just ask for our money back to go elsewhere because we were staying as part of a tour pack, payed beforehand. As soon as we arrived at the hotel the first thing we noticed was that not a single person in the staff speaked Spanish, and were not even clever enough to understand the many sound-alike words between Spanish and Italian. This wouldn't be a problem if it were not because their English was also very poor. Preschool, single-word-spitting level english. Pretty hard to get through the check in, but managed to do it. This is something I wouldn't expect past three stars for a hotel. The staff was poorly qualified, and highly unprofessional, as they shrugged off every reclaim we made like they were personal attacks. They can't even check their emails, I sent some questions via email a week before my arrival and never got a response. Sad. They took us to the room 106. The calefaction DIDN'T WORK. The room was insanely cold. Well adjusted, small and comfy, but really cold. The following nights were the coldest nights I ever passed on a 2+ stars hotel room.

We stayed today, we paid in advance. Very bad for now. It rotates the bathroom sink, the ceiling lamp. They take care of it. The Spotted curtain. And we die of cold in the room. A fright. I hope to change with the running of days. Not recommended!

Beautiful! Breakfast was amazing and staff was very helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

It's a nice hotel wel located in the center of Rome. Although the rooms are rather small they are clean and tidy.

The rooms where smaller then expected, the Wi-Fi was down most of the time but this might be due to the large group of people that I was staying there with. Our room was thoroughly cleaned though and the bathroom was excellent.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

I would definitely say, clean rooms, friendly staff, simple breakfast but very good. Thanks guys!

Bad service, and the refreshments in the room expired, my Espoo is sick, nor can enter by the main pierta of the Cuchitri that is… horrible, sleep with warmth and mattress of the bed guacalaaaaa horribleeee folded and with holes, floor of the bathroom dirty…

Simple house with a receptionist who always plays on his mobile. Breakfast OK.

Lovely hotel. Beautifully furnished and decorated throughout. Ideal location for getting around Rome. Particular highlight the outside patio garden for breakfast (very fresh food) and drinks. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend to others. Look out for the additional hotel tax levied by Rome City Council payable on arrival.

Very poor food, weird outlet placement, too small, would rate zero had they not had decent staff.

The rooms were very small and the shower was very tiny which took a awhile to warm up in the morning. The Aircon was too cold even on a higher setting. But the staff was very helpful.

Hotel room was clean, bathroom shower drain was clogged. Breakfast was not exciting. Close to Subway and termini. About 10 mins to Colosseum by subway.

The staff are amazong, no task is too big for them. The room is incredible! There could be more storage space if youre staying for a week but is ideal for short stays.

Quite normal hotel room a decent, though the mattress and pillows very hard, but almost everywhere in Europe so does not scant, have something to eat.

Not 4 star in any way shape or form, first the rooms are tiny, so if you book a double expect it to just fit a double bed, you'll need a superior room if you want some space. I think we had room 306 first then when my partner complained they gave us 202, which was larger. There is no tea / coffee making facility in the room, you have to go down to the basement where breakfast is served to get hot drinks at 3 euro for a small cup. If it is really important that you have tea as soon as you wake up then this is a problem. The staff are operated on a skeleton crew basis, there was no bar facility when we were there. Breakfast is the usual continental thing of croissants, eggs, cheese and meat, bread / toast with the usual. Location is out on a limb but there are two tram lines either side of the hotel, you can hear the trams rumbling by but I didn't mind that. Locally there are some good restaurants but it is just a bit out of the way from all the main attractions and life. Some of the fixtures were a bit wobbly, no trouser press, no robes, no slippers, no extra bedding, rock hard pillows 1 per side with 1 spare in the wardrobe, tiny telly on wall with bad signal, lots of things that your usual 4 star wouldn't suffer from, just gives the feeling this place is being wound down, perhaps because it was February. Although it was clean and tidy.
