I can easily say nobody should ever come here… ever. Of all the weird things here. Literally, the restaurant did not want to serve me desert in the restaurant. I said ok, then where can I have it? In the bar. I said that is interesting because I tried to order in the bar and he told me I had to have desert in the restaurant. The two men had an exchange of words and finally the restaurant waiter said all is good. The bar guy stayed mad and did not want to serve me. We had an exchange of words as he still did not want to serve me but finally did. He then charge me 5 Euros at the end of my bill. I said why? Because there is "fee" for using the bar. I said how odd because I just ordered 3 drinks earlier in the evening and nobody charged me anything. I asked the restaurant waiter if he would of charged me 5 Euros and answer was no. They had an exchange of words and the waiter discussed with me that if I returned tomorrow I could have desert for free. Mind you, I am with my FAMILY and this is how we are treated? The waiter was nice… nobody else could care… even the head person over the restaurant. Who has ever heard of a place where you can’t get desert? Do they want to make money or not as these are not cheap. So many of these stories to tell I can go on and on. My night of arrival at 230AM… the guy at the front desk had better things to do than try to talk to us and he seemed bothered we were checking in. He could care less that we were supposed to be there at 830 but due to flight cancels in Paris we did not get in until 230AM. You would think people would be friendly but not this guy. The ice machine on our floor was gone… literally… not there. I call the front desk… where is the ice machine? He said there is one there… I said there is not. He said go to the 5th floor. I go there and the ice machine is broken. So, I go down stairs at 230AM in the morning to get darn ice. He did call service and they came to get me ice. No apology or anything… Front desk guy just on his way with paper work as I am obviously bothering him. Air conditioning stopped working this same night too. That was pleasant. I asked in the morning about if our AC is working. Oh, we are having a problem on the floor. I said when can it get fixed. We will send someone there. It worked slightly better but still not good when I returned. I asked can I change rooms. Answer… no, we are having a problem across the entire building as one of our units went down so this is the best it will get. Wow. So bad AC in Italy this time of year in Rome…. Not good. Almost forgot… they will tell you, you can get cash at an ATM "right across the street". Wrong. The security guard "across the street" said you need to go down the road… about 200-300 meters and in the office building there… look for a bank and that is where you will find the ATM machine. I asked how often do people come here to his location… every day. How can a hotel stay in business with this lack of customer service care?
