Dirty walls, the bathroom is moldy and full of dark hair. The shower curtain is disgusting too. Giant terrace without furniture. Every day a clean towel. Very noisy due to transit traffic. Breakfast is not too varied. The nearby buses are not they are doing well. Cheap with all of these.

Old, unclean, in need of modernization and better cleaners. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was ok. No kettles or fridges in room this should be a must.

Horror. Except wi fi free. And a clean bed and towels. It's terrible. There's no hairdryer. It's like a shower cubicle. No doors. No mixer. How to wash? If you don't want to wet your head. There's nothing to dry. A rotten trough under foot. There's air conditioning. Very noisy because of the traffic. We have to sleep with the window closed.

For three-very much even decently.

Horrible hotel, located close to 2 times 2 lanes, no double glazing, a bathroom that leaves in lambaux. Fortunately the friendliness of the staff goes up the note.

Homely Rooms with old furnishings and not in good condition. Nice common areas like the breakfast room.

It's bad.
Bed linen was not replaced after previous guests. The whole bed is in the hair. Water in the shower does not go away, clogged sewage. The noise outside the window from the road all night.

We were staying in the Consul Hotel in April 2018. The hotel is well located for visiting the landmarks and tourist attractions. There is easy access to buses and the metro. The hotel is very good value with helpful staff. We would like to single out the receptionist Gianni who not only can crack good jokes but also sort out any requests and questions. He deserves 5 for customer service. We will definitely stay again in this hotel when we visit Rome again as it was a pleasant stay.

It was not a disaster but the hotel may not deserve its 3 stars.

Awful place. Very dirty and cold rooms. Strongly not recommended.

Clean, spacious rooms, large terraces and kindness of staff. Breakfast with fresh pastries apart from this nothing steaordinario… dated elevator But in the archaeological context we are… a bit distant from the center but with buses and metro nearby.

Ok it's not the Ritz, however we found it to be clean, staff polite and situated in a convenient place. I think it's fair to say you get what you pay for as simple as that.

To renovate everything. It can't be a 3-star. The indecent toilets saliva smells like sewage from the sink mold on the shower wall with the curtain sticking on you (I took 5 rooms) the old beds and noisy the prewar windows. You save breakfast (the croissants) and the gentleman who runs the hotel in the morning. The terraces their strong point would be to be exploited with a couple of chairs.

The hotel is not particularly. Clean and tidy. I had to ask again. The budget option will come down. The room looks like nothing is missing.

The hotel is pitiful, the room 105 did not close the door well, it had spider webs and it was not hygienic at all.
When you leave you charge 4 euros of taxes per day and person and do not explain before.
The employees do not deign to try to explain anything I do not recommend it!

This hotel is of the worst not worth a star the rooms are old and bland. I asked for a double bed and they put two beds together.
The bathroom has lime on the faucets and a cloth curtain in the shower if you can call it that and it has no safe and also no TV remote is far from all monuments as well as supermarkets.

The hotel is very well connected because it is close to the metro and bus stops… and definitely has great prices! The staff are very friendly and helpful. I did not partake of the breakfast. But in the vicinity there are bars and supermarkets just in case… only real flaw: the elevator is very small. … really claustrophobic!

Horrible we traveled to Rome from Barcelona with reservation at this hotel, by calling it in some way, this horribly away from everything and we left just entering the room.
When we saw it on the outside we noticed that it was old and abandoned with the balconies slanted and cracked, but anyway we entered since we had paid for it.
We were 20 minutes waiting for the receptionist to finish laughing with the cleaning lady. When we got attend we took our key and went up to the room (down the stairs, the elevator was not going), we opened the door and wanted to die, everything was dirty, smelled bad, the walls stained and broken, stung us all the body… I have no words To describe that place, I had never been in such a filthy place and left. We automatically closed the door, left the keys at the front desk and left. Losing our money. I don't recommend it to anyone it's a scam.

Despite having an almost non-existent public transport and having a Palaeolithic elevator, the services offered are excellent and has a really fast Wi-Fi.

Great staff but close to a busy road so lots of noise. About 10 minutes by Bus 246 from Cornelia Metro station (line A). Serves a typical breakfast of pastries, bread, cheese, ham, cereal, yogurt, milk, coffee, tea, and juice.

Low budget Hotel If you do not have particular claims is a good alternative. Great rooms.

The reception and the people working at Consul are really nice. The rooms are bad as the hotel is next to via Aurelia and you can hear cars passing by all night. So you will never get full sleep. The washrooms are in bad condition as for our room the toilet door didn't shut properly. The rooms were in a nice condition and were clean. If you are looking for a night or 2 close to the city, this is a good option.

The hotel is neat and cozy. Old bathroom but new furniture. Old windows and elevator. In principle, convenient accommodation for a budget traveler.

For what you pay being in Rome, 2km from the Metro with parking and a Wi-Fi at 5 Mbps per second has an unbeatable value for money!

A cheapie hotel a little far from the city centre, the elevator very outdated, the annotations can be improved.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. After the cleaning of the room missing personal belongings, all the bags are open, stole perfume, jacket, opened packed chocolate and Nadkusili. Nevkoem case, even for free do not stay in this hotel. Terrible!

You get what you pay for which wasn't a lot and I'm being generous with a 3. Upgrade and investment required but it was cheap and fairly clean. Next to a noisy main road but handy for buses.

Hotel is situated quite far away from city center and the nearest Metro station is 30 minutes away. Service is not very friendly and sometimes even rude. We stayed with a group of students. First day breakfast staff did not serve breakfast properly. We got only one croissant, one yogurt and some cheese for breakfast. Luckily next days breakfast was served properly but first day ruined the impressions for the whole day. Rooms need renovation as well as bathrooms. Rooms are very poorly isolated, so you can hear all your neighbors and outside traffic.

The location is excellent.

Hotel on hard 4-ku. Everything is necessary, but there is something to improve. The shower is not very comfortable. Otherwise, all you need is a rich tourist.

Noisy hotel with small rooms and very old. Wet and hot! Cleaning of dignity. Helpful staff. Awful breakfast. It's not a three star hotel.

Lived in the hotel in may 2009. Disgusting. Plumbing doesn't work. The furniture is old. Shower-the shower head sticking up out of the wall, toilet times 50-60g.

The room was огромнй, angular, with two exits to the terrace. Cold terrible (heating is not included, although outside the window it was in October and +15 in the afternoon), old window frames with щелами and a terrible smell of leaking pipes in the basement. Coffee — slop, beer fans were waiting for the first stop of автогриля.

Hotel tiny rooms so small that you can navigate only for people with good flexibility and suppleness of the body! Linen not changed, food — no. The only plus is the bar offers delicious coffee.
