Staff willing to help, very helpful with taxis, directions, food breakfast great, staff attentive. First room very clean and love view of Vatican, second room on ground level worn but huge, great for family with little kids.

Lovely welcome and friendly staff. Room was large and spotless. Roof terrace has a beautiful view of the Vatican. Easy walk to the bus stop or the reception will call a taxi which arrives in a few minutes.
Restaurant is ok but quite a limited menu. Lovely breakfast with a good choice of food. Would definitely stay here again. Particularly liked the smartphone in the room which was free to use and provided free local and international calls.

The chef dished up the best ravioli I've had in my life the first night we stayed here. I spent the rest of my trip tasting ravioli that couldn't live up to it.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Onsite restaurant was quite expensive so we didn't use it. Pool was very cold, but nice on a hot day. Lovely views from the roof top terrace (and a few jacuzzis on the top deck too! ). Comfortable rooms — my wife and I in one room and our two young daughters had their own room 'next door' with an interleading door between the rooms.

A really nice hotel with swimming pool and jacuzzi on the top. Some rooms must be refreshed. Personal pro but not so friendly as Roma workers.

Beautiful comfortable hotel at the bedding level. The rooftop bar is really nice in the evening with a view of St Peter's Basilica. Located a little too far from the center and not too easy to access by public transport if you don't know. Lunch correct but far from exceptional in terms of quality.

Pictures are very misleading! I gave it a one star because they advertise themselves as a 4 star and they clearly are not. This is not close to a 4 star hotel, mold in the bathroom, dried cement in the bathtub, found hairs in our towels, staff is not friendly at all or helpful. Never told us where our room was, didn't ask if we needed help with luggage, and didn't ask how our stay was. We stayed at the Aroma Lifestyle hotel 5 min away and that was rated as a 4 star hotel and it was substantially better. I would almost say it is a 5 star. Not to mention the Cardinal hotel had a prostitute at the end of the hotels entrance in a thong and bra. The pool was not child friendly, very slippery all around, and very cold water. If they put money into the place it would be very nice barbecue they do have a great view on top of the hotel of St. Peters but that's all they have going fro them. No shuttle service to Romes center either.

Actually pleasently surpriced. Nice staff and Clean room. Good bed and great view. The hotel could use a bit of restoration and update on the breakfast — meeting healthier needs :-)

Room was very good. Very modern and nice. But room air con was too cold and was adjusting to set temperature and service was poor when requested additional towels.

Large room with king size bed. Good bus and rail links nearby to access Rome. Breakfast was good quality. Staff refused to supply ice for drinks bought outside hotel, despite bar being closed due to private function. Restaurant for dinner was terrible, with food being returned as it was inedible.

​Comparable to a low end hotel in the States. First floor reception area looks nice, but the rooms need some superficial repairs. Large breakfast spread. Went with a tour group, so we did not choose this hotel. For reference, my idea of a "good/nice" hotel in the States is a Country Inn & Suites.

The hotel is a very hot tip It is located in a quiet area quite convenient to the buses. The service is excellent and the staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Any wish can be expressed and most will be fulfilled. Even if you can only speak German, there will be reasonable communication with a goal. Breakfast extensive, rooms spacious and tidy every day. New towels are common daily. I will be happy to recommend this house. LG Dr Pelikan.

This hotel has a good view to the Vatican. It is not near the centre of Rome. I recommend to look for another hotel near the river between the Vatican and the center of Rome, if you want to walk without using transportation.

I Was a bit disappointed by this hotel if I’m honest. 1, It was much further from the city centre than stated on the booking website. 2, It was not stated anywhere clear to say that there was a city tax to pay at the end of our stay. And after staying in another hotel after this one the city tax was less? Makes me wonder if it’s a city tax wouldn’t it be the same? 3. One evening we were feeling quite tired and didn’t want to walk all the way into the center so we opted for a meal in the hotel. The restaurant was one small room with tables so close together it was like we were all one big family eating together (not in a good way) we were not treated at the door and were just left to wonder around until someone noticed us and sat us at a table. The food was over priced and cold. I ordered a tomato pasta with bacon and I got a cream based pasta with pepper? And lastly it was not stated anywhere that the pool was not open. Me and my partner opted for this hotel mainly for the pool to have a relax day during our stay and when we arrived we noticed it was closed. A warning would have been nice. All together we would not stay again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone I know.

Visited for business reasons is definitely a great solution for stays in Rome.

The hotel is very good of cleaning the food is also quite good… the staff polite and attentive but we had a triple room and gave us the suite… of course we said, go better… q well … but the little girl had to sleep on a sofa bed all full of springs… the thing is that we figured out the problem … another thing, is also a little section of everything!

Great hotel, the view from the roof garden is absolutely amazing anytime of day (or night). The rooms are kept nice, with a bathroom more luxury than my own, and the breakfast is delicious with a wide selection; one of the best in Rome! Hotel staff was accommodating to our large group, and the hotel is located West of the Tiber, quite near St. Peter's Square, with quick and easy access to the rest of Rome.

The worst service I have ever met. they are impolite to client, when I tell them the problem I met that has been seen as my problem. The refrigerator and the water heater in the room are not available. The housekeepers didn’t replenish the shower gel and the shampoo first day. The second day I asked for doing the housekeeping later, when I came back to the room, I awared that they didn’t do anything, so I asked for it. At The first call they told me, ok later. I wait for at least 1 hour at the lobby, and they didn’t do anything again. I tried to ask again, they told me “this is impossible to do now “. I wonder why they don’t just tell me at the first call. It doesn’t worth 4 stars at all. The service and room equipment. Thus, it’s is impossible for me to give a positive recommend.

We always like to come to this place, which is in good condition and maintained for Italian conditions in good conditions. Always with the modern requirements of the guests with innovative innovations "up to date". Intercontinental's delicious breakfast and rich food offer. We'll be back!

Bit far out but if you don't mind a tube then a short bus ride from the city centre it's a great hotel. Rooms were clean and spacious breakfast was great snd the staff were friendly. There are some great little pizza places and icecream shops on the main road and a supermarket for anything else you might want. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel was relatively clean. Breakfast was out at times given the large crowd. Under circumstances, they did ok. The cleaning crew missed replenishing our towels. Other than that. It was nearby few locations to eat (walking distance). Wish they had coffee for both dinner and breakfast, instead of machines.

I was concerned and nervous when I booked this hotel and then jumped onto Trip Advisor to see the reviews to discover that this hotel is apparently not so great. We were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. The hotel is not very well located that's a given, but for a cheap price I can not fault it. I paid £360 for 2 people for 5 nights here and it was great. The entrance is beautiful and well air conditioned and the star were very welcoming and friendly. We were a bit early so they let us into our room early too which was great after a long morning of travelling. The room was great. Not amazing views but we didn't spend that much time in there. The bathroom was lovely although a few imperfections such as scratches on the tap, small dents in the bath tub, a slightly loose shower handle, a light up mirror that was a bit damaged and did not light up and a screen that didn't keep the water in when showering resulting in the floor being soaked after every shower. Our room was a good temperature although make sure you keep the windows closed when sleeping because we were covered in bites when we got home. Our bed was 2 single beds pushed together but we did not actually notice until the last day. The swimming pool was good — Medium sized and did the job. The mini bar was quite pricey and was not always attended. But nice and a decent amount of sun loungers.

To spend a few days of getaway this is great.

We were very well received, the staff is top, the explanations are clear, the standing is at the rendezvous.
However the hotel is back from the neighborhoods of life, it is very good for the silence, less to find a restaurant in the evening, it remains however the one of the hotel.
During the day it is a 10 min walk from the metro station and it takes just 5 minutes with the latter to arrive at the Vatican (two stations) we have a very nice stay.

We enjoyed the rooftop terrace with two jacuzzis and views of the Vatican and the green Rome. Pool, breakfast and room we also like.

I leave tomorrow and I did not solve the problem of the subtraction in the room.
I really don't recommend it.

Everything says free breakfast. But was told after coming in no free breakfast. Watch yourself when you book. Window view of room was a dirt pit… tub looks like someone with a peg leg was jumping up and down in it or was used to cut up a body… No joke, I'll add a picture. The porters and cleaning ladies were super nice though.

Good service and very clean rooms and great staff, the busline 916 is a 5 minutes walk this takes you straight to Rome.

Upon arrival there was a booking mishap as a result the friendly and multilingual staff went above and beyond to help us out and resolved everything swiftly, for the price it is incredible with an amazing restaurant incredible pool and roof top jacuzzis that have the most incredible view you could imagine a 10 minute shuttle ride costing 1 euro will take you to the subway station which is insanely easy to use and cheap the train it's self takes you to all the hot spots you could imagine and is hop on hop off at your leisure it gives you a real sense of adventure and travel while the hotel accommodates for ultimate relaxation experience friendly staff beautiful rooms and a stones throw away from Vatican City with minimal planning you can achieve an adventurous backpacking holiday and or a relaxing lazy holiday I can't recommend it enough and in all my years of travel this is the first place I'm planning on returning to.

When you walk in to this hotel you will see a clean lobby. All in all you would expect a great stay, but it sticks at average. Rooms are clean, bathrooms though leak water when showering. Breakfast is bad, you rather eat somewhere else. Best part on the hotel is the location. In a quarter of an hour you can be in Vatican City and take a bus/metro or a walk to another destination. So what concerns the location, I do recommend this hotel.

Having done the internship within this facility as a cook help I must say that the structure is inserted well inside Rome, its advantageous location (less than 2 km from San Pietro) and the excellent price list make this HOTEL one of the best of its kind.

Good value for money Lodecole the roof top with jacuzzi. Maintenance from Intesificare slightly. The staff were very helpful.

Pros: great parking for any means, which is very convenient. Location in the capital but in a position quite isolated and calm.
Cons: not Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV without HDMI. The shower water goes out. Expensive restaurant and essential. 3 stars.

Great hotel value for money, breakfast meravigluosa … you never stop eating!

We knew we were in for a bad experience when we watched birds eat freely from the bread basket in the restaurant (the same from which the server took to serve us). We booked a room with two kings, and found ourselves in a handicapped room with two twins, no carpet, partial window treatments, etc. The experience deteriorated from there, with each interaction with the hotel staff (one in particular) proving more condescending than the first. We did eventually get a better room (one that matched the description of what we booked) only to discover the A/C was broken; after a certain hour, we remained without electricity. Great location, as we could walk to Vatican City; the rest a disappointment. We've been traveling for about two and a half weeks now, and this is by far the worst we've seen in terms of cleanliness and quality of food. If you do book here, I'd recommend dining elsewhere.

We booked a "Family Room". The room was actually two large rooms, absolutely perfect for our family of four. Very friendly staff and a clean hotel. The hotel has a small swimming pool, but we haven't tried it… So far a hotel I'd recommend.

The hotel is very welcoming and with a rich breakfast with fabulous pastries and large sitting area.
The room was very comfortable and had all the comforts of a four star hotel. Too bad the period when we were (November) the ground floor pool and Jacuzzi on the Roof Garden were closed. We abnche ate dinner without breaking the Bank. I promised that I will find them in the summer to live a little.
Definitely to be recommended.
