Lovely converted villa. Majestic interiors. Great views. Helpful staff. Food good. Wi-Fi good. Room clean. No English TV channels.

As we arrived the place looks almost cute on the outside and inside they are all very formal and polite if it were not for the decadence of the interior and rooms. We had gone to have a little weekend of relaxation instead without warning they closed the pool at 15:00 taking the opportunity to relax and erA remained as a last chance to go to the spa for a fee not to mention the evening they made a wedding is almost until one o'or so you couldn't even rest for the big bang. Wi-Fi doesn't work the phone doesn't pick up and the TV works less still. The only thing I'd go back to is the view. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Among other things they write about services that are not present as the fitness area.

An incredibly beautiful Villa both in the very refined and classy interior, as well as in the garden but above all for its enviable location. It is located above Frascati and is dominated with the view up to Tivoli and beyond even up to the Sabina and the Roman castles. Fresh place, surrounded by greenery: to visit!

Beautiful cardinalizio hotel. I jump back in time into the splendour of the popes. Very long corridors and beautiful palace atmosphere. A museum. Rooms and amenities a bit spartan. Excellent breakfast.

Old world charm as you would expect for an old villa like this. Rooms are comfortable and so is the bathroom even if they are a bit small. Food has been phenomenal so far. Staff are helpful even with the language barrier.

We stayed for 5 nights in june 2018. The hotel is an impressive sight and the view really is amazing. A good workout is also offered on the ca 1 km long steep walk up to the hotel. Most of the staff is really friendly and helpfull. However, it is hard to not get the feeling that they would prefer to only have conferences and wedding parties — which is the reason for the lower score. A quite boring breakfast did not improve the score either.

A beautiful panorama, an old and well-kept structure, a nice park… my room was not up to the rest of the property… I didn't have time to visit the spa. Hotel recommended.

Excellent historic mansion that dominates Rome from the slope of the South. Old rooms but with a priceless view. Excellent reception and excellent quality / price ratio, which can be improved is the SPA which remains, nonetheless, cosy.

The Villa Tuscolana is a really nice hotel with an incredibly romantic ambience.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The reception is open 24 hours a day. The hotel is located on a small mountain, so the way to the city of Frascati and back on foot is a bit strenuous (about 30 minutes). The hotel offers a transport service of approx. 7:30-21:30 for €5.
To get from Frascati to Rome, the train is a suitable means of transport. Trains depart to Rome once in the hour from early morning to late evening. The journey takes half an hour, but the ticket costs only 2, €10.
The food restaurant is highly recommended. The food was always delicious and the service is very good. A real highlight.
Breakfast was enough to get fed up. There were hot drinks such as cocoa, espresso or cappuccino, a variety of different juices and small buns and toast and cold cuts.
The pool is very small, but it is enough to cool down. There are sunbeds and parasols where you can spend half a day relaxing.
The hotel offers a beautiful view at night and with its quiet location allows for a romantic time for two, despite a short walk to the capital.

I celebrated the New Year's Eve in the villa, nice staff, rooms restaurants cared for level.
Good dinner and fireworks at Midnight Disco rooms and music for families and older people.

Great value for money. A really nostalgic experience. Need to remember to book the shuttle bus if on the train as a bit out of the way and too far to walk. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Staff friendly. As a couple visiting Rome and Assissi I would highly recommend when dropping into Frascatti.

Beautiful location with panoramic view of Rome. Decent double rooms but be careful, very small single rooms (looks like good rooms), innacceptables. The whole thing would need to be renovated. Buffet Breakfast extra simple. Food in the restaurant not terrible. In short, does not deserve the award of Hotel 4 stars. Damage!

A magnificent place, it seems to go back in time, Villa of 1500 renovated with great taste.
On the ground floor a beautiful Spa.
Not to mention the restaurant, we had a great dinner, helpful, kind and hand-held staff.

This place is a real gem! You’d need a car if you want to go out sight seeing & such. But the rooms are very spacious, well decorated with the keeping of an old building, & the staff were very fussy.

The rooms are nice but small. There was only one wardrobe without a shelf. The bathroom OK. The breakfast buffet is very good. The correct staff. The setting is beautiful.

Exclusive Location in the Tuscolo Park. Suitable for refined events. The room on the sixth floor of the structure (Belvedere Hall) has an exceptional view over Rome. Service to the reception and the catering impeccable.

A very particular context in a villa of the sixteenth century with a breathtaking view from one of the hills of Rome. The staff is very friendly and the room is very comfortable. I highly recommend.

We were treated horribly, humidity x everywhere is not worth it at all.
We asked for help from a bald gentleman and another with black hair, looking for my mother to look for something and practically threw us a list; It was not the right we asked Xfavor Q to give us another and we got the one of the rooms. Their names were not and we informed them, Q told us then they were not which was impossible.
The worst experience in a hotel, I would not recommend it at all.

This hotel is wonderful! You feel like you are back in renaissance time. The bathrooms are modern and rooms are full of comfort. I loved the pool that looks like roman baths. So cool! And of course, the view. It is breathtaking from every point of the hotel. I will definitely stay again in this hotel. Very good Breakfast. :)

The Hotel is there to accommodate for events like wedding receptions, rather than to accommodate guests. It is not very child friendly either. We booked this Villa, thinking we would relax here as a family for a couple of days, and we ended up disappointed. The outdoor pool was usually inaccessible, as outside events were being held next to it, so hotel guests were not allowed to use it. The few hours we tried to use it it was extremely cold. If the resort advertises it has an indoor pool, it is also false advertising. The pool is part of a Spa facility which is independently run from the villa, so access is not complementary and one must pay day rates to be able to access the indoor pool. Also, there are no hours at all which allow children to access the Spa, which pretty much ruined our family trip, as we love spending time in the pool together. The room provided to us was also very small — there was no space where we could move with the baby travel cot which the villa provided, though the view from the room was exceptional. I believe that if you want to organise an event to show-off, this place would be the right place, as it has great views of Rome, but as for accommodation, I am sure one can find by far much better places, were to stay.

Nice hotel with smears. The view of Rome is spectacular. The entrance to the hotel, the building itself makes a difference. The rooms are simple and decorated in the appropriate style. Unfortunately we had no hot water during our entire stay. Repeated requests at the reception desk and also the visit of the janitor did not bring any remedy. Italian Serenity:) But what bothered me the most was the lack of breakfast. Pampige toast Sandwiches, a very clear selection of sausages, cheeses, fruit, etc. A proper start to the day is a different way of being a holiday maker. The hotel does not do justice to its claim. The way to the train station is acceptable, the hotel is situated on a hill above Frascati. Frascati is worthwhile, with many cafes, bars and shops. Rome is easily accessible by train.

I've been to Villa Tuscolana for lunch to a first communion. The location is beautiful, the Roman villa with a very striking views of Rome. The youth service and polite and the food did not disappoint. To go back to some other event surely.

Villa Tuscolana is one of the historic homes of the Castelli Romani, and this is why the location itself deserves some appreciation. Together with the proper preservation of the premises and surrounding gardens, these ensure that nevertheless would benefit from a more scenic, the care Villa Tuscolana is especially suitable for weddings and other ceremonies. The quality of the food is good, not excellent, but the welcome and service are just as good.

The villa, then called "Rufinella", was built in the 16th century and was enlarged by the architect. Luigi Vanvitelli in the 17th century. With the discovery of the remains of the ancient Roman villa of Cicero "tusculum", the villa took the name "Tuscolana". Now it is home to Grand Hotel "Villa Tuscolana", a prestigious hotel located in the metropolitan area about 24 kilometers from the center of Rome, in the municipality of Frascati, via del Tuscolo Km 1, 5. The hotel has a Congress Centre, a Grand Hotel and a Day Spa ("Lympha"), and is a venue for conventions, congresses, meetings, incentives, high-level seminars, weddings, events.
