A garden to discover and a kitchen to try! As good as ever.

This is one of the quaintest places I have ever had the privilege to stay at. They have an absolutely magical back garden, rooms that overlook the canal, perfect espressos, and grappa should you need one. We tried many restaurants while in Venice, but kept coming back to eat here for dinner because the food was superior to any of the places in the tourist areas. Lovely staff, beautiful hotel and restaurant, cant wait to come back!

Hidden rarity not far from the Vaporetti station Zattere. Typical Italian, cozy atmosphere, great service, great and tasty prepared dishes. Absolutely recommended.

We had the Spaghetti Bolognese and Lasagna. Both were excellent. We shared a carafe of the house red wine. Should’ve gotten our own! My husband enjoyed the grappa and I had the Gelato for dessert. Very cool ambiance. We were here back in June2013 for our honeymoon. It’s still amazing!

Must-eat fresh seafood. Never ever missed the best meal in Venice.

A hidden gem, on a pretty canal. Walk through the small, cosy dining room to the garden courtyard where a canopy of natural greenery is your ceiling. Wonderfully romantic setting. You'll receive a warm and friendly welcome from your host which makes you feel like a returning guest, even if it's your first visit. Excellent menu and delicious wines. Good recommendations from the team who are attentive and knowledgable. Spaghetti alle Vongole is a favourite and it didn't dissapoint. Would highly recommend anyone to go if they're looking for something more than the tourist spots around St Mark's Square can offer. — в городе Венеция.

Excellent meal! Staff was wonderful. Food was amazing… and off the beaten path!

Friendly restaurant with lovely outdoor tables under a vine draped trellis. Prices are about mid range for Venice (2 courses + 2 carafes of house white, for 7 people cost about 230 Euros. The food was good and the service was attentive without being overly so. I will certainly be back next time I am in Venice.

Very decent dining. Bit pricy but it's Venice after all. The atmosphere is great, the food we had was very well prepared. Would definitely recommend this place, but maybe more for the beautiful garden than for it's food.

I wanted to give myself a present. Passionate as I am of cinema 70s, I looked for this inn that was also the set of a very famous film of those years, "anonymous Venetian". Actually, I should be on a diet, but a dear friend of mine often reminds me that "you only live once",
So what… I don't give up! the place is fantastic, with a garden with arbor adjacent to the place, where it is very pleasant to have lunch this season. It was a
full immersion in the Typical Venetians, with attentive and friendly service. I highly recommend it.

This was a nice place but definitely not 5 stars. Don’t be fooled by the outside, the seating is in a nice indoor garden. They are known for their seafood and I wanted the whole fish but was somehow talked into the filet which was a rather small portion. The service was typical for the area. Overall a nice experience but a bit on the pricey side.

This restaurant is set in a beautiful garden with over arching trees which makes for a romantic and magical setting. I would consider this hole in the wall to be one of the most lovely restaurants in all of Venice. Delicious food — we had the steak and risotto with house wine. I can’t wait to go back!

Hard to find Wi fi almost did not work but economic.

Wonderful restaurant. The courtyard garden is beautiful and a perfect dining setting. Very unpretentious but nice. We saw families with children, a couple with a dog, and one very large group. Staff was running for sure, but the food came very quickly. I thought the food was great.

A wonderful little hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Large room and large bathroom. Quietly located away from tourism, but within walking distance of the centre. This is where the real Venice takes place. The hotel also has a fantastic outdoor area. Value for money is ok, only the restaurant prices are a bit overdrawn. The staff are very friendly. We had a fantastic holiday here.

You really have to know this restaurant which is really fabulous where we have an exceptional suitcase kitchen with dishes afterwards which was really great we also had Barolo it was really the wine that was needed for this meal and we Had a great evening to recommend it is certain.

A bit difficult to find but once you reach it seems a great service oasis good and plentiful dishes, I found myself well but mostly ate well. Prices are calibrated according to what orders.

Restaurant where the typical Venetian cuisine is made to appreciate with professionalism and quality. I often recommend it especially to those who do not know Venetian specialties.

One of the most lovely restaurants in Venice. The food was incredibly great! We had recommendations for this restaurant from two different friends in the States… glad we came!

What an oasis in the desert. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is antica, and full of original art. In fact, they offer to trade art for your meal if you are an artist!

Typical hotel, full of charms, the manager is very friendly, always smiling. The location is ideal and in a very quiet place. The room is very clean. One negative point: two single beds together to form a double bed. Despite this detail we highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for a few days. Unfortunately the positive points are really few. The room where I stayed was: no Bidet, the rooms did not have a television, the rooms had cracks on the floor, the bed was "peddled" as a double but in reality nothing else was that two sunbeds flanked that with the sleeping they distanced So making the sleep unpleasant, the sheets had holes.

This is a wonderful local restaurant away from crowds and tourists. I had the raw tuna (an appetizer) as my meal with a salad and it was amazing. My husband had the more traditional lasagna. He loved it.

Away from the crowd, a lovely place where we ate very well. The team is lovely, has a sense of humor and takes the time to look after you.

Great choice for seafood in Venice. The caprese salad and branzino dishes are amazing. The restaurant, however, is located in a much quieter part of town away from many of the other attractions.

Somewhat secluded, which even increases the level of sympathy. Very good food and attentive service. Absolutely recommended.

Fresh seafood and the best lasagna in Italy.

The hotel is not too close to the station, so we sweated a bit to get there, even if feasible. The staff very very friendly. Good breakfast and maximum autonomy, double key to enter in the evening after the reception had closed. Very large rooms, comfortable bathroom and air conditioned in the right way. Remaining outside the full heart, in the morning and at night the area is very quiet and you sleep very well. Very helpful to keep your luggage after check out. One thing I would improve, the furniture a bit dated. For the rest I found myself well. Also the bed was comfortable.

All around beautiful experience, the food the service, the courtyard, breathtaking. From start to finish perfection appetizers to espresso excellent.

Very bad. Rude staf which leave the place at night so the doorbell is ringing all night while people are left standing outside. And in case of fire you're on your own at night here. (no staff at all in the night) NO GO.

This famous restaurant in the past became a gargotte has questionable cooking, serving neglected. A scam.

Are these people kidding? DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is NOT worthy of four stars. Smelly rooms (yes, we tried two rooms), terrible decor, fake wood floors. At least the bathroom had newish fixtures and the rooms were large. The hotel is run by the restaurant staff and they are often surly. Do not stay here. Worst hotel of our two week trip. (oh yeah, the beds were 100yrs old, thin, and lumpy. ).

I have stayed at Antica Locanda Montin twice — first in 2000 and, most recently, in October 2007. The service is exemplary and the staff was attentive to all my needs. I appreciated the housekeeper's efforts to tidy my room each day and provide me with clean linens while respecting the privacy of my belongings. I dined in the restaurant where I found the food delicious and affordable. Most of my daily activities found me in or near Piazza San Marco, and I looked forward to coming back each evening to my "Home away from home. " During my most recent visit, I stayed in the small single room directly over the front door, but at no time felt any lack of privacy nor did I experience unwanted noise or disquiet. Anytime I return to Venice, I will plan to revisit this charming place. I highly recommend it to all.
