The owner was super nice, and gave us plenty of recommendations. The rooms served its purpose. Breakfast could have had a little more variety.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel is on a very quiet but pretty canal, easy to reach from the train and bus stations and an easy walk to good cafes and restaurants and some of the main sights.

I denounce the lack of flexibility of this somewhat understandable business and no doubt little interested in the satisfaction of its customers. We had booked 2 nights. 24 hours before our arrival, we learned that our flight was cancelled due to a strike in Italy. We immediately informed them. However, all of our service has been selected. They have not offered us to shift to another date or we count as part of the stay… in respect of the damage suffered. I denounce this type of commercial reaction and it doesn't my gives not want to book at home on a future stay or recommend it to friends.
It is clear what is the point of the hotel!

Great location and friendly, helpful owner.

Small hotel, good price, good location, owners friendly and attentive, serving, breakfast in the room, it is as if you were living in an old house in Venice overlooking a canal. One day I looked out the window and a group of japanese tourists who went by boat, I greeted everyone with hand as if it were a venetian.

This is a beautiful peaceful place to stay in Venice — air conditioning, clean and elegant rooms, close to the canal, the art district, gorgeous churches, cafes and restaurants. Not far from the train station either. Wonderful hosts and I would definitely be back next time i'm in venice — here's hoping! :).

What a great place to stay this family owned hotel makes! More geared towards a romantic getaway, the hotel has a perfect location, and outstanding staff. Paolo, the hotel's older owner, is very helpful and thorough with his description of itineraries, and things to see in Venice and their history. The breakfast is served in the bedroom every day which allows to take it with a view of the canal. Great choice.

Is a wonderful place to stay. It is modest, clean and wonderfully located. It is close to the bus terminal and train station and far enough away from the tourist traffic that you can blend in with the Venetians. Our room was spacious, clean and had a beautiful view of daily life in Venice. In the afternoon, Paolo is at the main desk. He would mark our Venice map as if it were a pirate’s map to treasure. He sent us on walks to discover the hidden gems in Venice. Paolo made certain that we experienced a varied sample of all the Venice has to offer. We intend to return to Venice to find out more and this is where we will stay.
