The hotel is nice but there are drawbacks. Our room was very noisy our air conditioning and even when it turned off, there was always noise from something else, possibly from the air conditioning of the next room, very much getting into bed. There was a strong smell of tobacco, although you can't smoke in the hotel. The cleaning was not very high quality. Twice put a pillowcase with stains. Forgot to change the towels. Good breakfasts. Polite staff. A convenient location. Beautiful interior.

I had a fabulous week at the Hotel Rigel and this mainly because of the staff. They were all very nice and helpful and did their best to please my requests. The hotel itself is ok but I think it needs to be refurbished. The position is great! Very close to bars restaurants and the main street. Its also close (walking distance) to the beach and to the port. With refurbishment it could have much more potential.

Cosy and nice place to stay in the most green part of Lido di Venezia. Small but clean rooms, very polite and friendly staff. Breakfast is tasty and Italian. ) )

Very pretty hotel, less than a 10 minute walk from the pier. Spacious, cozy room, clean. Friendly staff, working 24 hours, convenient for late arrival.

Nice Hotel with good service. The Rooms are small, but have everything you need: shower, hair dryer, TV. There is no fridge In the single, but can be put on the reception. Convenient Location.

Very charming Hotel, not even 350 m walk from the quay of Lido (EMS), smiling staff welcoming francophone. The receptionist was very nice. Open to special requests (adapter for my hair dryer). Rooms Baroque, very clean. On the other hand the breakfast is not terrible. But there are plenty of tea/coffee rooms nearby. Ask for a room that looks out over the garden they are quieter avoid the ones that overlook the street… I keep a very good memory of it:)

Spacious room. Nice staff Well-furnished breakfast buffet. Everything would be great if the rooms were soundproof because getting woken up at 6:00 am by the neighbors ' lovemaking, it's really unfortunate…

Excellent location in a very quiet island, where there are many terraces and a magnificent walk where you can go on bikes for rent that are everywhere. The beaches are very wide and very nice. The hotel says that it is very close to a Vaporetto station from which it takes about 20 min to Venice. The hotel was old but it was well kept, the breakfast was decent, not a lot of variety but yes they refilled every bit, you could have breakfast inside or on the terrace, although on the terrace it was full of mosquitoes. It was clean and well catered to the rooms. As for the reception a bit bland, they barely bothered to give you information on how to go to Venice etc. I'd give him a 7/10 and go back to him if he repeated the trip.

Ok noisy. Not people noise just you hear the toilets flushing and the water running there the pipe from other rooms. But three different cities and they got the shower right.

Nice and clean place. The receptionist was very friendly. Cute garden shame it was raining as it looked gawjus for breakfast or just a wine.

Fantastic location from Lido SME vaporetto stop. Friendly staff, very helpful. Rooms clean and relatively spacious. Good choice and unhurried breakfast.

A little small room for a family and humble breakfast. But U can enjoy your vacation because of kind staffs. A small parking lot-4 cars-you'd better reserve for your parking lot earlier if you want. Nice hotel with reasonable price.

Friendly comfortable relaxed hotel in great location for cafes and bars (all very chilled). Hotel is retro style but very clean and comfortable. We had a very happy stay.

Close to the station for Venice. You can change tourism and tourism grounds from 01 April to the end of October. Beautiful quiet place…

Just back from Venice, hotel is excellent staff couldn't do enough for you, hotel very retro.

Have really enjoyed our stay. The staff have been great and we have a balcony which has been great to sit on. The hotel is located about 5 mins walk from the station. So much easier to stay on lido than negotiate the rads, people and bridges in the heart of Venice.

Stayed here for years. Air conditioned, great breakfast buffet. Some prefer the package with breakfast and dinner. Quiet, gardens, good with kids.

The hotel Rigel, built in the 60 's and recently renovated, is situated in one of the most interesting Islands that make up the city of Venice, the only to appear on one side of the Adriatic Sea and the other over the San Marco basin, just across from the historic San Marco square, the center of the ancient Republic of Venice.
It is also the only island than any other of the Venetian Lagoon can be reached directly by car, thus avoiding the expense of parking of the vehicle in the Venetian hinterland.
