As an old visitor to Capri (first holiday in 1961! ), I had never stayed in a Hotel for more than a week. Always and only house in dense, or from my father who lives right in Marina Piccola.
Having said that I try to bring back my definitive impressions after this experience of stay paradoxically unusual for me. The property is in a beautiful place, moving even for those who practically were born there, like me. The room we had asked for, beautiful and spacious, was given to us the next day, but with a plenty of apologies and admission of guilt, which made everything without any discomfort. Courtesy set for coffee in the room, great choice of soaps, housekeeper very nice. In the pool you look great, the service is fast and if you taste the caponata with cherry tomatoes and burrata or the fresh tomato spaghetti you will reconcile with the world. The desk girls are delightful and the manager is very kind and professional. The shuttle service to the square is continuous and very comfortable, the porter boys patient and tireless. I recommend eating a la carte, because basically the price does not exceed much that of the menu at 23 euros and there is more choice. I mean a nice 5? For now I give a 4.9, because a piece of advice I would like to give to the sympathetic and volcanic owner, Mr. Tarantino. A little more care in the clothing of the room staff. It would give the situation that extra touch, an elegance that would marry magnificently with the unique setting in which this Hotel is set. Mr. Promises Me. Tarantino? A hug to the beautiful Alfonsina, Zuleika and Susanna, to Genny and the little Fabio and Giovanni who made coffee with my partner!
