Loved the sleep after an eventful journey by ship. Its within a reasonable walking distance from the port. Presentable, generous breakfast choice including local pastry. Polite and courteous staff. Helpful and approachable. I woyld happily return in the future.

Great hotel! The bed was comfortable, the room is smaller than most North American ones but adequate for our stay. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic! 15-20 minutes walking distance to the main port. A big grocery store is about 5-7 minutes walk on the same road heading towards the port. The area looks like it is getting some much needed revitalization.

This is 'THE' hotel to use on your visit to Naples. The hotel is modern, clean and wonderful on the eye. Staff are only too happy to be helpful and the food is sublime. If you are coming to Italy, 100% stay here :-)

Wonderful place. Excellent location in Naples. Friendly staff. Nice view on the bay and on Capri. The room is very comfortable.

The hotel seemed very clean but when we gained an extra person on our trip they wanted to charge us an extra 110 euros for the additional person. (only cost us just over 50 for 2 people in the first place). Also naples is incredibly filthy. Wouldn't ever return. Hotel B&B might not be as classy but they were much more friendly and helpful. Additionaly when we were looking for an extra hotel for a cheaper price for the additional person we did so in the lobby as it was pouring it down with rain. The receptionist did nothing but impatiently stare at us until we left.

Lovely hotel, clean, friendly efficient staff, well located although not what initially expected (location) on arrival. Fab breakfast, would recommend.

Beautiful structure, located in an optimal position to visit the heart of the city. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast rich and very good (Luigi waiter top! ) … what else to say, thanks to all for having contributed to make more beautiful our stay in Naples!

The front of the hotel… the prettiest of all the whole street no doubt. Very difficult to park well out there nearby. The nice room with a big tub. The views I am sure are not exactly the best d the city. And as for the buffet if it left a lot to be desired. The staff were very friendly and friendly.

It's a 4 star Hotel which feels like a better 3 Star. The best thing about it is definitely the very friendly staff, always helpful and providing a service with a smile. The Hotel is also very clean, big kudos to the cleaning staff! However, for a 4 star hotel, I'd expect to have a coffee and tea facility in the room, which we missed a lot. The breakfast is ok, but quite one-sided, with (I am sorry to say) absolutely awful instant coffee from machines that desperately need a clean up. The food provided is very basic, I've had better in standard B&B's. There is definitely room for improvement.

My stay was very good, the hotel and the staff are excellent. It is well located but it is a bit far from the metro stations. Breakfast is delicious.

The staff was very nice and the food was very good. Comfortable and quiet rooms.
It is already our second stay in this hotel at two steps from Corso Umberto.
We will definitely return.

Good Pizza, nice atmosphere.
Fast service, we almost didn't have time to choose because the dressing was pressing us for the command.

Great breakfast. Easy to find. Great location within walking distance of the main train station. Our room was just outside the elevator which was a bit noisy and there was a fair bit of street noise also on the 5th floor.

Modern and well-appointed structure. Breakfast. Great location to visit the old town.

Well-designed, fine-looking hotel, which is situated at the main road which follows Napoli's harbor front. The hotel is an island of cleanness in a rough and generally very dirty city. Employees are kind and friendly (but we did not experience any serious problems). The breakfast is generally nice, but the bread rolls are far-from-fresh and the coffee did not meet my expectations (it's a Nescafé machine which uses syrup, not coffee beans). Be aware that the location implies quite some noise from the close four-lane road — — the windows filter a large part of that out, but sleeping with windows opened is tough (our room was NOT toward the main road).

Our experience here was not the best. The room and bathroom were really small, we got a front West corner and one windows faced to what looked like an abandoned building and the other one the street, which was very dirty. The bathroom needed some major maintenance, the shower had a big crack. The staff was really nice, though. We had reservation for 3 nights and after looking around the city for 1 day we decided to check out 2 days early.

Nice place, spacey rooms and good service. One day we asked if we could take some food from the breakfast buffet away with us and the man returned with 4 bags of food for us like packed lunches which was very nice of him. Quite near the nice part of Naples as well, however the lift can be noisy.

Nice enough hotel — decent room (although bathroom smelt slightly "chemically"), decent breakfast, helpful staff. The only real downside is the walk from the hotel to the station, Via Garibaldi having a slightly dodgy feel to it. The hotel itself felt perfectly secure though, and I'd stay there again if I returned to Naples.

I decided to stay in this hotel not far from the waterfront area in Naples. It was about a 10 minute walk to the train station and about a 7 min walk to the historic old parts of the city. When I first arrived, I was given a great room on the 7th floor looking out to the Mediterranean but the air conditioning system was not working well in that room. They quickly tested and agreed and moved me to the same type of room on the 6th floor but with a powerful air conditioner. They were also great to help give me tourist information on the city and help me set up parking for my rental car. Overall the room was very good. It had a funky nozzle in the bathroom sink and it was too small for shaving well, but there was plenty of hot water and the room was very clean. The front desk was also very accommodating and easy to work with. The nice man and woman who worked the front desk did an excellent job. And the breakfast was great; many choices to choose from and set up in a buffet type style. I am glad I stayed here and would recommend to others. 5 stars with my experience.

A nice modern hotel near the old city center of Napoli. It was a bit hard to find by car. You give the key to the reception and they have the car picked up to bring it to a (paid) parking place. All locations can be reached by foot. Good breakfast, very elaborate. Staff was very friendly as well! A special thanks to the cleaning ladies. I forgot my e-reader (night-stand and e-ready both black colour, so I didn't notice it ;-) ) and they found it. Luckily I was still in Italy and could pick it up the next day. Thanks again!

A nice hotel that is in walking distance to most places (trust me, you need the walk after all that pizza). The room was clean and the mini bar was cheap — a mini prosecco was about 3 Euros. Your stay comes with complimentary breakfast and there is a large selection available. One day we were late for breakfast and the staff went out of their way to serve food; which was incredibly kind. The only negative was that the lady down at reception was a little bit aggressive though when we checked out and overcharged us for the mini bar. I think she had a long night shift though!

The room was very small, in front of an old building dating from the 20th. The service was very nice and awesome really, nice place and hotel but no more than that.

The hotel is new, clean, also the room classic double room is of comfortable size. Good breakfast, by improving the salt water. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in the area a little decentralized, but just a 10-minute walk to reach the historic centre. We have not had the need to use the car. The bed and mattress comfortable we were made to rest well. Very good quality / price ratio!

Great hotel in a great location — but sketchy neighborhood surrounding hotel.

Very nice Hotel and very clean. Location not central but a few steps from via the courts and streets features, unfortunately not very clean. You can reach the seafront in a hurry. Staff very courteous and helpful.

I stayed at the Palazzo Salgar from 1 to 4 January 2017. I would highly recommend this hotel, where I found staff to be extremely efficient, unobtrusive and polite. I have enjoyed the abundant and delicious breakfast (exceptional the mini pastiera and sfogliatelle! ). The room was spacious and clean (the only false note: in the bathroom is also very spacious, the shower stall should have a box instead of a tent and a mobile arm). The location allows to visit easily on foot the historical centre and is 10 minutes from the metro (University to reach areas more distant).

Stayed for one night. Room was dirty, hair on the floor and in the bed.
