It is always an amazing experience when I stay in this hotel, everything is perfect from the welcome to the kindness of all the staff. The sea view rooms are truly spectacular, spotless with a very large and clean bathroom and everything you need to prepare coffee and tea. The location on the seafront is strategic and is a plus of the hotel that, despite the crowding due to conferences, manages to maintain a dimension of care and attention for the individual customer that is absolutely remarkable and worthy of the renowned hospitality of a city like Naples. Every time I come to Naples I stay in this hotel and I will continue to do so.

I stayed at this property at the end of August I can say that I had a great time, very nice hotel the room I took very nice, spacious had a spectacular view, very good breakfast, very friendly staff is helpful. The advice.

Fantastic location, breakfast overlooking Castel dell'ovo is unrivaled, impeccable service and above all "pet friendly".

Luxury is authentic. Our Suite on the ninth floor is gorgeous. Cin a large balcony overlooking the sea. Highly recommended!

Fabulous Hotel on via Partenope. What makes this hotel a great place is the staff. The staff and especially the front desk management team will move heaven and earth to make ones stay an enjoyable and a memorable one. Guests are always treated like part of a family. I recommend this particular hotel on the strip of via partenope any day.

Fabulous location… loved our balcony/sea view room. Lots of great bars/restaurants around the hotel and just a 10 minute walk to Piazza del Plebiscito.

A fabulous hotel. Made us so welcome and were very helpful. They even left some pastries and prosecco in our room on my daughters birthday. Great location with amazing views from balcony. Would definately recommend.

Stunning location, waking up to the sea and to two steps from the centre has been of great help for my relaxation, for a nice walk and to enjoy a beautiful panorama. Room service is also off the menu, I
have you prepared in no time a fantastic soup for the girl. Beautiful to have breakfast in front of the sea.

No air conditioning, staff useless excuses. Get used to the word SORRY. Very noisy as Street life lasts till the early hours and sound proofing not good enough, again SORRY. Would never stay here again even for free.

I can’t believe the nonsense some people are writing. The hotel is outstanding. We have a two room suite with two balconies facing the bay.
They have a delicious breakfast included in the room rate.
The maids keep the rooms immaculate. The air conditioning works great. The bed is fine. The bathroom is modern.
The desk staff is extremely courteous and accommodating.
The location is ideal.
There are several fine restaurants right on the block. As an Italian-American, I can tell you the food is first rate around here.
I have stayed on Via Partenope before and this is my favorite hotel now for sure.
I would suggest the nay-sayers go somewhere else.

Will update my review tomorrow when they move us to a new room. The old hotel is very dated, the bed is hard, no coffee in room and the air conditioning is not very efficient. The room is large but that is the best thing I can say thus far. The view from the new Hotel connected is amazing and the pool is beautiful.

Great view of the castle, especially at night!

Everything is very dirty, we generally wanted to give up the room instead of a room with two separate beds, a double-sleep with two mattresses, just a horror. The staff are in salted form, just awful, the restaurant generally sucks. Breakfast at world standards, but everything else on the 10 point system minus 5

Beautiful views worth the sea view upgrade. The man who works at the lobby bar is amazing, especially with our son "my king" he would always welcome him with which made us always feel comfortable to sit and have a drink even with a toddler. Only complaint is that beds are uncomfortable and terrible pillows but it seems to be common in Italy?

The air conditioning in the room did not work when checking in. Ants were running around the table. Located the hotel well, on the waterfront. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. There are shops within walking distance. Elena walked along the embankment to the beach. It's a comfortable bed. Good breakfasts. Once caught rotten tomatoes.

For a so called high-end hotel not impressed with the leaking shower, it flooded the bathroom everytime you had a shower. Some staff need to have more training with dealing with tourists. For me great breakfast and views but not from our room.

Great hotel. Nice rooms, nice polite staff, nice breakfast and best of all… air conditioning! Essential for the Neapolitan summer. Only downside was typically expensive/over-priced mini bar in the room.

The hotel is not a bit tired. We were in the old part of it. Furniture needs updating, but the interior is pleasant. From the room there was an amazing view of the castle, but very upset that the window did not open, had to enjoy the beauty through the glass. Surprised the pool — it is deep and with sea water, cool.

We were put in the old section of the hotel, definitely not 4 star. First when we walked into our room 2 flat pillows one flatter than the other, Not a good 1st impression the air conditioner doesn’t work efficiently either does the fridge toilet broken away (it wobbles when you move on it) and the vanity sink is blocked) no coffee amenities and the list goes on staff were not helpful or friendly from the get go would not recommend it.

Overall it's good but you have to keep in mind that it consists of two biodings of different quality. In my case annex building didn't provide ability to open balcony and that was really upsetting. Everything else is of the highest standards.

The room was lovely with balcony and view of the sea. Breakfast was yummy with beautiful view of the sea. The swimming pool was gorgeous really clean. The staff were delightful and it was fantastic to see Antonino again. He is a lovely helpful person — nothing is too much trouble. We will come back.

In front of Castel Dell'uovo. Sea. Location 10 min from Piazza plebiscite on foot. Cons: Outdated furnishings and bathrooms. Parking available with good professionalism from the staff. Breakfast suitable for all needs. Going back.

On the seafront partenope, in the Riviera of the big hotels of which it belongs. I have always participated in congresses, meetings and work events. Unique Location, which makes you touch the sea regardless of the room or the floor where you are. Well-equipped halls for events. Rich buffets for both Neapolitan specialties and wines and Prosecco: very popular for those coming from outside of Naples.

The location is priceless. On the waterfront in Naples. In front of Castel Dell'ovo. Clean and quiet Hotel. A little old style but in line with expectations. Friendly staff. Good breakfast on a terrace (indoors) on the sea. Excellent for both business and leisure travellers.

Hi hotel is very clean and tidy, the staff in most parts are helpful. As a few others have said for a 4 * hotel one would expect air conditioning all the time from April onwards, especially in may the month I’m stopping weather is average 24c. I give 4* for cleanliness/ staff/ food which I cannot fault. Sort air con next time will be a 5

I was a guest at the 37th Fidas National Convention and I had a great time. Excellent complex located on the sea with a splendid view of the Gulf, the island of Capri, the Torre Dell'ovo. Comfortable rooms, impeccable service. I recommend it.

Dissapointed. Location is great. The room is standard but no air condition that one can change. Had to sleep with window open. Good breakfast.

Looks nice, but its very dated. There is ways to renovate an aging building with out loosing its charm this hotel just looks beat up and dated to me. They try to nickel and dime you on the Wi-Fi by throttling you to dial up and ask you to pay extra to uncap. Totally with in their right but that's a dated strategy. You don't really have control over AC my room stayed at 26C when set to 21C The bed was rather firm, a subjective opinion but 16 people of 16 people agreed.

I think this hotel is well placed. The service at the restaurant is perfect. You just have to review the claim service of loss or forget objects that are not professional and do not respond to mails.

Although the hotel is being refurbished, it has a situation and extraordinary views.

A charming hotel, like the splendid panoramic view in front of the Ovo Castle and the spectacular Gulf of Naples, an excellent restaurant with romantic views, suitable for a couple or for people who like to live the sea at all times. Luxury and well-being are also in the surrounding area that offers the fantastic district of Mergellina. For those who can in a nutshell, is the right destination.

Location is fantastic! Hotel is quite nice a bit old but still clean and cozy) Has 8 floors Restaurant has a seaview Stuff helpful and always friendly. Bathrooms are big and has fan and all basic cosmetics I would suggest the Royal Continental because of view 1 or 2 nights not more.

The only thing 4 star about this hotel is tge wait staff in the restaurant. We appreciated their eye contact, smiles and helpfulness. We certainty felt that for the money we paid, we would have had a much nicer hotel. The room had a horrible sewer odor and we were told it was normal because of the sea. After 2 days of nausea, we complained again, and the room was given a special cleaning. After the cleaning, the smell of sewer and chemicals was worse. We were moved to another room. The smell was not bad in that room. Many phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. Several times we called for extra shampoo and shower gel, we were given 1 per day for the 2 of us. The room was not clean, bed and pillows uncomfortable. We were at this hotel for 6 nights celebrating New Years. The "gala" was disappointing. The food was mediocre at best. We did appreciate the position of the hotel to enjoy Naples. This Italian/American couple would not stay here again.

The hotel location is great, right on the water, but overall everything was pretty old. The rooms were clean but we had one power outlet (of the two that were acceptable) that didn't work. Good was fine but nothing great.

This hotel is advertised as air conditioned, a matter of importance to me in this climate. Here is my factual account: the so called air conditioning runs only from 0800 to 2300. It is set to 26 degrees Celsius with little capacity to vary it. Opening the balcony door will switch it off but this might be a better option at night if only the area were not so noisy. It is, in brief, false and misleading to call this hotel air conditioned. The truth was very hard to extract from the nonchalant hotel staff.

Beautiful hotel with great view on the sea and walk. It is a bit far from the center but with a nice walk there you get there. The rooms are spacious although they should be a little renovated.

The rooms in the hotel do need an upgrade with some better lighting but the views, especially from the top floor, make up for everything. We have a 40m (or so) patio that was beyond words. My main feedback to the hotel would be to provide the room with drinking glasses and a corkscrew. We were told that it would be an extra charge to have one brought to our room and we were forced to go down to the bar…

The food they served for the tour group I integrated was lousy. The room with a lot of smell of humidity.

Rooms were a bit dated but nice hotel with great service. Room was adequate and spacious. Sea view with the castle and street was great for people watching. Pizza and a bottle of wine at night on the balcony was lovely. Only complaint is that the air conditioning at full throttle was insufficient during the night at times. I think that I would probably stay there again.

Great hotel with an amazing view over the bay of Napoli. The location is perfect with walking distance to everything in the center of Napoli. The staff is really helpful and they serve a good breakfast. I will return for sure!

This hotel is past its prime… could really do with some renovation. Whilst the swimming pool is nice, it was always extremely crowded and we were unable to find a space to sit. In addition, swimming caps are compulsory, which seems a little over the top for a hotel pool! This seems like a 2 or 3 star hotel rather than 4. One the positive side, the view from the breakfast area was lovely.

Just got back from this beautiful property. Breathtaking view of the well-cleaned and well-air conditioned room with balcony directly on the sea. Swimming pool with sea water well clean. Restaurant and Hall by number one. Friendly staff always available from the lobby guys to the pool guys. Restaurant that welcomed our needs having my son celiac. Super Breakfast. So try again because in the morning you look out from the balcony and see Naples. Stay speechless. Heartfelt thanks to everyone.

The location and view are amazing, but the rooms need serious updating. No in-room coffee or tea. No balcony furniture and half the staff has been rude. Not recommended at all.

Very disappointing… Rooms whose decoration are sorely lacking in class and an unexpected standing for a 4-star hotel. An unfortunate audacity to propose very small dwellings according to the customer's head, ageing equipments and a swimming pool inaccessible for its capacity. Note A good breakfast but despite this a huge disappointment.

Start with the only positive breakfast point very good a lot of choice and nice staff. On the other hand, extremely disappointed with the insulation of the rooms, maybe our neighbors were very noisy but anyway not always well slept… Besides, the pool is a big joke don't you fill the photos. You can enjoy the "adult" pool provided you wear a ridiculous bath cap that you will of course have to buy… Otherwise, you will be flunked in the "Baby-pool" or you can enjoy the toga in the urine of marmot! Small tip take a taxi and find yourself a small corner of the beach around. Finish on a positive note the view is nice.

The Hotel is situated in a fantastic location, the sea right in front of Castel dell'Ovo, a breathtaking view. The rooms meet the standard of the hotel, as is the Admin Service service, flawless. Overall, the experience at this establishment was very positive.

The hotel is in a stunning location: in front of the sea with the Castel dell'Ovo and the waterfront. As a service, however, does not offer everything you do pay. For example, the bar would have to be improved, as well as the catering premises.

First time in Naples with my wife for our 20th. Perfect location. Close to everything. Great views. Staff is very friendly, including housekeeping! Great room with a view. Wouldn't change anything. This place will forever remain in our hearts in the coming years.

Check-In. Read the terms and conditions was almost impossible. Staff was impatient and unfriendly. The room was bad. 3-bed-rooms at the back. Internet FAKE. 3 hours free, then pay. Garage 25 Euro! The Hotel has its best days behind itself. In this Hotel never again!

At the front desk I was rushed to subscribe to advertisements. When I started reading what I was about to put my signature on the guy became quite rude and asked me if I was able to understand him and to just sign. This is bad. The room was small and dark but had a balcony to the side. The shower had some mold and there were no wall sockets close to the bed. I had to unplug the TV to charge my electronics. The view from the breakfast room was nice, that's the star I gave. I will never return.

We stayed in this marvellous hotel for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It has great facilities including the brilliant breakfast room, the pool area and the rooftop viewing area. Our room was more than adequate. The staff were most helpful and the only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a room overlooking the Fort and the Marina. The location is sensational.
