Review of Hotel Margherita 4*

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Margherita for two nights and absolutely loved it. While everything about the hotel was quite lovely, the highlight for us was the fantastic staff. Suela was so kind to answer my many questions about how to get around and what to do. The staff printed bus tickets for us, drove us into town, offered us bottles of water before we went hiking, made us cappuccinos. They even gave us a card with their contact information on it so that we could call if we needed anything or just got tired of walking and needed a ride back. Suela told me that they'd take care of us and they certainly did! The whole staff is very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to make their guests happy. This is the most hospitable hotel that we've ever stayed at and we enjoyed being a part of the Hotel Margherita family for a bit — wish we could have stayed longer. In addition to the lovely staff, the beds were very cozy, the room was beautiful and large, our balcony had a great view, and we enjoyed our yummy breakfasts each morning, as well as our dinners at Ristorante M'ama! in the evening. A quick note on Ristorant M'ama! — We booked on a half board basis which we did not regret. Ristorante M'ama was a great restaurant with a lovely view and, just like the rest of the hotel, a wonderful staff (they saved our bottle of wine that we left on the table unfitted so that we could finish it the next evening. I've never had a restaurant do that for me! ). Our favorite dishes were the appetizers, but it was all good. Not only is the hotel great, but we were very pleased with Praiano as it is smaller and less touristy than some of the other villages. Everything about hotel Margherita was perfect for us and we'd definitely stay there again. Thank you Hotel Margherita for a lovely stay.
