Lovely place, impeccable staff and great restaurant!

Nestled perfectly in the rock, from the terraces you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Ideal for those who want to spend a few days in total relaxation and let themselves be lulled by the lapping of the waves. Everything is taken care of in detail. For our mistake we had reserved a room without sea view, but fortunately we were granted an upgrade, in a room with a small terrace overlooking the sea. Fabulous. The restaurant offers delicious breakfasts, greedy as they are, I tasted different cakes and pastries, one more good than the other, even at dinner we delighted with the delicacies of the chef < Br /> nice and comfortable water taxi service.

Hotel Onda Verde was an excellent choice to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. It’s family owned and run, welcoming and clean. Delicious restaurant, great service, wonderful facilities and a view to die for. Go!

A great disappointment, I say that I am not a demanding customer Or pointy being also an entrepreneur of the same field, but here I have experienced the incompetence and arrogance of the staff at the desk in dealing with the problems.
The management of the hotel as bad as the concierge service, I understand the post COVID closure but the room was practically dirty and dusty. The air conditioning didn't work and no one did anything to help us during the stay. At the desk we exposed the different issues, instead of solving them the director (which I do not think it is) questioned every negative note exposed by me. Wanting to check the situation for yourself, once verified he tells me that it can happen. At check out they asked me for an additional 20 euros per person for the parking lot and the pool. Unfortunately for them we will never come back.

Beautiful setting on Amalfi Coast with stunning views of the Mediterranean. Infinity pool a real treat. Rooms nice and wonderful breakfasts included in rates. Restaurant has superb food but a little pricey. No coffee or tea in rooms so a Residents coffee/tea station in a Residents lounge would be a nice touch. Most Staff are friendly. Would definitely come back. Thanks.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a standard room which was decorated very nicely. Only criticism would be how small the shower is but since the room was done so well it really wasn’t a huge deal. The hotel has a really great layout with all views facing the sea and lots of spots to sit and enjoy the view. Pool isn’t huge but perfect size for the amount of people. It was also easy to get into town via the bus since the stop is right outside the hotel. We also found a good convenience store down the street to pick up water and alcohol. Since it was so hot the week we were there we found it really difficult to find shade. Everyone was switching between the same single spot at the pool. Would really suggest the hotel look at moving the massage tables and treadmill down to the sun patio below since no one really sat there during the day, and then setup more loungers in the shade. That is the best spot to enjoy the pool so there should be more shade available there. Even patio umbrellas would be nice. We really had no major complaints about Onda Verde and will absolutely be back in the future!

Simply a very relaxed and beautiful hotel. Best restaurant on site and a great breakfast. The view is world class! Happy to return!

Nice hotel rooms, staff police the guests in the rooms, elevator access, key cards etc. We were harassed and monitored from check in throughout our stay and were charged 150 euro/night extra for a guest that was sharing a room in the group (7 guests, 3 rooms) even though we tried to specify guest count at the time of booking. In addition, the internet stopped working every 30 minutes and then somehow miraculously would come back after a call to the desk… impossible to work. Late check out denied, 10 euro fee for missing room towels. We won’t be back.

It was very difficult to leave and I will be coming back just to stay here. Great view and restaurant. We loved Marcello. There are restaurants to eat at down by the beach (so don’t believe the front desk if they tell you otherwise). Breakfast was good with a lot of options.

Front office staff was amazing. Fernanda took amazing care of everyone. Views here are beyond anything you could imagine. Coming out onto your balcony and overlooking this amazing cove gives you a new lease on life. Breakfast was amazing, rooms were impeccable. Our best hotel in Italy by far. Highly recommend.

Hotel Onda Verde — while small is a mighty fine place located in the middle of the Amalfi Coast in Praiano! The staff are pleasant and accommodating adding to the amazing rooms with wonderful views! The food was good with beach access down steps (warning you do a lot of steps anywhere along the coast). We enjoyed watching the Capri tours launch in the morning and return in the evening! They do miss a gym and a hot tub but after a day of exploring — it is only a small miss! We will certainly come back!

Outstanding Hotel, we visited 7 hotels all over the coast and this was our favorite without hesitation. Very quiet, amazing views and the super comfy bed. We'll be back safe.

We stayed 6 nights at Hotel Onda Verde for our honeymoon and it was the perfect choice! The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views that overlook the sea (we spent many early mornings and late evenings relaxing on our private balcony! ). It was also more quiet than staying in one of the busier towns but still easily accessible to Positano and Amalfi by the SITA bus. I cannot say enough good things about the staff — they are the most helpful people I have ever met! We planned many activities throughout the coast and had no idea how to get to any of them until the staff offered their assistance. We purchased SITA tickets through the front desk as well as booked the Capri boat trip from Praiano which was one of our trip highlights. Make sure you eat at the hotel's restaurant, Franchino — it is the best food we had! We were greeted with champagne and I had the best citrus shrimp risotto of my life. Honda Onda Verde is truly a hidden treasure and we will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to the Amalfi Coast!

This was honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room had a terrace overlooking the sea, which was absolutely breathtaking. The ceramic tiles on the floor and in the bathroom are beautiful. The staff were friendly and the entire property was clean and well taken care of. It was also great to be able to walk down to the beach area and hop on a boat. I would come stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful 6 day stay for honeymoon. Praiano the perfect location for the Amalfi coast, sitting between Positano and Amalfi/Ravello with frequent buses both ways. Hotel staff wonderful and helpful (esp Francesco), rooms cleaned to an exceptional standard, breakfast excellent and terrace gets wonderful views in the morning with the sun. Couldn't have asked for more.

A brilliant hotel in a wonderful location. The rooms are beautiful and all overlook the small bay. The staff are kind and attentive without being overbearing. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends. Just wonderful.

Absolutely stunning views from the hotel rooms. The room itself was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Dinner was good, service was excellent, price was just right. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Lots of options, hot and cold with great views of the ocean. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Loved our stay… staff were all helpful with information, also in the hotel they helped every way they could. Food was lovely setting is just beautiful… the pictures don't do it any justice. Would recommend to anyone for a lovely get away. Also will return ourselves… a lovely and romantic 5day break… special memories as my boyfriend proposed to me during the sun rise at the hotels restaurant xx.

Excellent location. However the food, especially the breakfast could have been much better. You don't have much option around there in Praiano so ended up eating here for entire stay. Regarding room amenities — get a kettle please.

To escape the sultry climate and chaos of the city, we decide to spend two nights in Amalfi coast, staying in this magical place I was fascinated already last summer: the hotel onda verde. Perched, it immediately welcoming staff very friendly, courteous and professional, we felt immediately at home. The room had a large comfortable double bed, air conditioning, minibar, spotless, just as occurs in the descriptions. The highlight is the balcony: once opened, be enchanted by the wonderful view, a great view that puts you quiet and carefree, just escapism that we were looking for.
Breakfast is very rich, from cakes prepared by the chef at breakfast typical American, married well with the stunning views, perfect for the beginning of an unforgettable day. I recommend the hotel onda verde not only for a couple, but also with a group of friends for the various services it offers: it is very close to the beach, from where boats leave to move towards amalfi or positiano, walk you reach the African (DISCO CLUB), also offers a large car park for those arriving by car and a few metres away there is a bus stop to reach the villages of the beautiful Amalfi coast.

I had made a mistake in my reservation, and the staff was very helpful to find a solution! The view is just astonishing, and by next week a brand new pool will be open! We were with our 3 children, and everyone was kind to them also!
Special congrats for the breakfast! Do not plan to leave early in the morning, you will want to laze around, totally amazed by the morning light on the sea! In return, you will not have the evening sun in the hotel, so plan to chill out late to have the most of it!

This is a fabulous location. Hospitality is exceptional, the food is great value and well prepared. Don't miss an opportunity to take a holiday at this beautiful hotel.

Can't believe we've been so lucky to find this place! The Onda Verde has been by far the highlight of our month in Italy. We spent one week there and thanks to Fernanda and Francisco we never had an empty day: they helped us moving around the Amalfi Coast and recommended the places we shouldn't have missed during our stay. We ate at the restaurant a few times and it was superb! The staff is always kind and friendly, and the chef secretly shared with us a couple of tips for his special pasta. After the first two days we really felt like part of the family. Rooms were spotlessy clean and with a stunning view of the ocean. We were not programming a second trip to the Amalfi Coast since we always like to see different places, but now we are incredibly looking forward to come back! Arrivederci soon from Jen and Dom.

My husband Marcelo and I absolutely loved our 8 day stay at the Hotel Onda Verde! We had a beautiful room with a spectacular view of the Sea. The staff was wonderful and the meals were fantastic! We have never tasted such delicious meals and we had 4 courses every night! We decided to do the week long package with breakfast and dinner and we were very happy that we chose this option because the food so was wonderful! This was our 35th anniversary celebration and the staff made sure to help make it a special occasion for us each and every day that we stayed there. We cannot say enough about this wonderful gem of a place situated between Positano and Almafi. We loved the quiet and relaxation of Priano however we were right on the bus line if we wanted to take side trips and see the coast! thanks for our wonderful stay and we will recommend it to our family and friends! I spent 11 glorious days in Amalfi Coast at the Hotel Onda Verde in Praiano, Italia. It was my first time to Italy and I am pleased to have found such a wonderful pearl inside this great Oyster. For those who are looking for a great experience that is affordable, this is the place for you. Below, I will give you the absolute reasons why you should stay in Amalfi Coast. 1. Friendly Atmosphere: The Milano Family who owns and operates Hotel Onda Verde welcomes you as a part of their family. They treat with with the utmost respect and give you the privacy you need, but also look out for you to make sure you are enjoying yourself. 2. Helpful and Knowledgeable: You want to stay at a place that has a choc' full of information on where to go, how to get there and what to do? Again, since the family has been there forever, they know everything there is to know. You want to count on this reliability. 3. Tasteful Rooms and Heavenly Balcony Views: I traveled alone and stayed in a room fit perfectly for me. My balcony was where I could just relax and view the Mediterranean Sea. The sea views take you away to another place. You can just chill right out listening to the waves wash gently and strongly against the rocks and the beach. The view of the boats from my room was pleasant to look at. Fisherman would go out and those with speed boats would ride by every day. The rooms are clean and the cleaning service is great!
