The Grand Tritone Praiano Hotel is absolutely fabulous. From the amazing vistas, to the architecture, to the amazing service, this hotel is definitely one to visit. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our vacation so wonderful!

Such a great Hotel and group of people that helped make our stay memorable. Also a big “shout out” to Paolo who made our Anniversary dinner a delight with his attention to every detail. BTW: the cake was as much a surprise as delectable. We will stay here in Praiano again.

It’s our last night in this beautiful hotel and I can honestly say it’s been amazing! The views are spectacular and the staff are wonderful. The breakfast is lovely as is the beachside restaurant, I wish the same could be said about the main restaurant! Unfortunately the food was bland and service was poor! Thankfully we found this out on the first evening and ended up finding some lovely local restaurants to eat in, several of them offer hotel pick up service. A big shoutout to Salvatore who kept those lovely pina coladas coming,,, he works extremely hard in the beach bar and the wonderful Elania on the desk for her brilliant knowledge on places to visit during our stay,,,, thank you both so much you are a credit to the hotel grazie Mille x x x.

Wonderful hotel with beautiful views! We didn’t have good weather while we were there at the end of May, but it was still a wonderful stay. A truly unique hotel with superb service.

The staff went above and beyond to help, the rooms were gorgeous, the view was gorgeous, the food was amazing and it’s on the Amalfi Coast … truly … what more do you need?

Phenomenal hotel in the most beautiful place on earth!

The views from the hotel are priceless, the staff are helpful and pool / beach are also excellent. Located 15 mins from Praiano and a taxi is €15 each way which gets expensive. Communication from the hotel when booking from their website was poor, no email confirmation so we had to follow up to confirm booking went through.

Friendly staff, speaks English, beautiful hotel, incredible views of the sea and surrounding cliffs. There are 2 restaurants, one on the same level as reception and one on sea level. Both serve exquisite food, well prepared and beautifully presented. Each level of the hotel is thoughtfully decorated and gives an open, fluid concept to the space. The elevators (yes, multiple) that you take down to sea level, lead you through 3 tunnels before you arrive at a platform above the restaurant and beach access. That journey alone is worth a visit to this stunning hotel. I only wish I could spend more time here.

An infinite dream! We were guests of the hotel for a wedding in June. We daydreamed. Beautiful rooms with portentous views, lovely terraces and food and stylish amenities. The gardens, the descent into the sea, everything is wonderful!

I am a picky traveler, and I I can say hands down, this is one of the best hotels and vacations I have ever had! If you are on the fence about staying here, just do it! It is a slice of heaven right here on earth. I don’t want to go home!

Amazing view and the service is even better! I have never been to a hotel where I have felt so welcome. The entire staff was extremely sweet and friendly and always attending to your needs to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is wonderful, it wasn’t in the middle of any town on the coast so there were no tourists all around the hotel. There are amazing restaurant and shopping a short distance away which you can get to on water taxi, regular taxi, or bus. The hotel has an area right by the lower pool deck where you can board the boats quickly and easily. They offer private boat tours and collective boat tours that take you to the island of Capri or wherever you’d like to go. Last but not least the hotel offers breakfast in the morning that has a wide variety of great foods and several drinks. Overall I loved this hotel and everything about it, especially the staff. I highly recommend this hotel for a nice getaway to a beautiful place with lots to do!

Beyond beautiful location and hotel is also very lovely and so unique. Rooms are older and the age does show a bit but overall kept clean. Staff is great. There's a pool and a great restaurant but also great options in Positano or Praiano. Note there is no iron in the room so plan accordingly.

Hotel was perched on the cliff and had amazing views. Rooms were large and beds are comfortable. Hotel was quite large and had it's own little beach with 2 swimming pools. Staff was great and the in house restaurant was pretty good too. Location was in the middle of things so catching the public bus was difficult at times because it was always full from either people leaving Positano or coming from the main part of Priano.

Perhaps the first as a location for the most beautiful panorama of the Amalfi coast.

— 3 stars is only for the view and staff — the rooms stuffy, old furniture. — the hotel does not provide a shuttle bus to positano nor amalfi, if you want one, you can request one and the hotel will provide but for 100 euros to amalfi, which is verye expensive. — no iron — no complimentary water — no watter kettle nor tea or coffe station.

— Views is amazing, staff were friendly — Rooms are very basic — No Iron — No Tea/Coffee kettle — Food is overpriced at the hotel and very very limited (and no much options to eat around) — Location is not the best — Go for positano if you can (this hotel is in Praiano), because the transportation is very bad here, they should at least provide shuttle bus at reasonable prices (they charge 50 euros to amalfi, which is 1.5 euro by public) and even public transportation sometimes is hard to catch, at some days they are very busy (once we waited 2.5 hours), so good luck catching them (Im talking mainly about SITA bus which goes to amalfi and positano also), buses are not always on time. Make sure to visit positano website to get the latest buses schedule for all the area (coast to coast)

Awesome service and great food. The suite with the terrasse next to the pool was perfect. It is a little pricey but worth every penny.

A unique hotel with amazing history, vistas, and staff. The Tritone is not a modern hotel, which is precisely why it is rich in history. Rooms offer amazing views of the coastline. Staff are professional and attentive. The three distinct elevator rides to get down to the pool/beach amenity are unique. Like many parts of the Mediterranean, the beach is not sandy nor shallow, so not ideal for a young family if that's what you are looking for. But for a piece of history, charm, and relaxation this is the place. Dinners on the patio overlooking the sun setting on the sea are special. Enjoy!

Wedding to forget the day 10-9-2017. Bad food, miserable portions, local without reports access to the bathrooms, buffet cut badly, we could not eat and enjoy because the portions in the dish could not be cut because they were too large and according to the poultry with one hand we tended the dish In hand and with the other hand how did we cut food? As it was a wedding, a family party, the room did not allow us to see each other. On arrival from the staff there was a bit of reception and they pointed us to the elevator to go into the room down, then to the exit, personal non-existent and no directions. If certain marriages by the newlyweds do not want to spend money, a tip for you: Do not do lunch because the picture you do the hotel… or maybe the money you have fooled without bringing the right portions of the art.

Great view and quality of the food. The rooms a bit retro but they are tastes. The location is perfect for admiring the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. Very recommended.

The Grand Hotel Tritone is now possibly one of my favourite hotels. On arrival, they were very welcoming and upgraded our room free of charge. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, it is definitely worth every penny, beautiful location, rooms with enchanting views, fantastic staff and a great selection of vino rosso. The inclusive breakfast was delicious — a wide variety of fresh italian delicacies. The only slight gripe would be that we were not overly impressed by the other food — we can only assume that as it was the end of the season perhaps the head chef was on holiday. They also exchanged money for us at a very good rate. I would also recommend reading about the story of Giuseppe Gagliano the creator of the hotel brings a tear to your eye and makes you feel like you have contributed even in just a small way to somebody's dream — All in all, a truly magical place!

The most amazing view, of Capri rocks, town, pool and beach wow! Beautiful property!

The property is well cared for and is immersed in a place of exceptional beauty. The manager and all the staff are people of exquisite sympathy and courtesy.

The location of the hotel is unique. It stands by itself and is built into the cliff. The views are incredible, the staff was friendly and we enjoyed using both pools and taking a dip in the water. We were able to take a bus to get to Positano and we did a boat trip that picked us up at the dock of the hotel. The room was a little small for the price and had ants. The balcony was nice with a great view. The hotel itself was great but the room was a little disappointing.

Clean, decent location and service.

The Grand Tritone was the most amazing, beautiful hotel with friendly staff and huge rooms. The restaurant and beach done stairs was divine and the pool upstairs was a perfect place to relax.

Amazing place if you want to be tucked away and forgotten by the world for as long as you wish to be there. Ours was a lunch affair in their hidden surprise which was tucked away in the beach down below. Great experience e en if it was a few hours only.

A magic place where the view is so amazing, the people are so warm, the sea is so blue and the napoletan food is so good (special remark for "suppa di pesce") that we are coming back every year with hapiness and joy!

Nice hotel in very good location. The size of the room is OK, unfortunately, the rooms are very nice, you get up close what's happening over, beside and under a. The restaurant is very good and also the bar at the "beach" is recommended. If the price of € 6. — for a Coca Cola is adequate everyone must decide for themselves. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended day trip is to Capri by boat, price is €75 per person which tour takes 8 hours and maximum 12 people on the boat is enough for every place.

Fantastic Experience! This is not a five star hotel by traditional ratings, but most everything about it is 5 star quality for 3 or 4 star price. It's a family business and the hotel was built on a cliff in the 1950's. It is immaculate, with terrific views and service. Dinner at the restaurant is nice, and the included breakfast buffet is plentiful and tasty. There are many public areas throughout the property where you can relax and enjoy the views. The Tritone is midway between Positano and Praino, so you'll need to take cabs or bus most of the time, although Praino is within waking distance. There is also a water taxi to Positano and you can take a high speed boat tour to Capri. The property has two pools, and the rooms are immaculate. The Tritone is a well priced, semi hidden gem!
