It’s been 3 years now since we stayed at Residenza Luce and it was the best hotel we ever had the pleasure of being guests at. Happy, welcoming staff/family who went out of their way to do everything they could for us. Our room was perfect and the breakfast up on the terrace was out of this world. One day, we will be back! ❤️

Best hotel we stayed in out of our 4 day stay across Italy! The staff were amazing, the breakfast bar was the best of any hotel we had, the AC worked great (which was important considering it was 40%-80% humidity during our stay). Highly recommend this hotel. If we ever come back to Amalfi this is the only place we’ll stay!

Vincenzo and the staff at Residenze Luce saved our trip to Amalfi. We originally booked another Bed and Breakfast that was not very comfortable and way too far away from everything. Even though we already paid for 3 nights, it was time for a change. We got very lucky to get a last minute room the next morning at Residenze Luce. They were incredibly hospitable and made us feel like family, even sending a car to pick us up from the other B&B and later arranging transport to Naples. When we arrived they greeted us with a wonderful bottle of Prosecco for our anniversary and made great dinner recommendations. The hotel itself is wonderful. Right in the very center of Amalfi, close to all the restaurants and easy access to the ports. The room was spectacular and the bed was very comfortable, (which wasn’t the case at the other B&B we came from. ) The breakfast was phenomenal, Vincenzo sister’s restaurant l’abside had some of the best food and service, not only on this trip but some of the best food we have ever had. His mother even did our laundry for us! It was waiting clean and folded for us when we arrived back from a day in Capri. Absolutely top level service from the moment we arrived to checkout. I’m truly blown away. My wife and I couldn’t say more positive things about our experience at Residenze Luce. Thank you for helping make our first trip to Amalfi a memorable one! Worst Service and experience ever, I booked a refundable room 4 months out and when tried to cancel it next day, the hotel refused, also refused to reply or speak with me. Worse experience ever!

This is the best hotel on the Amalfi Coast! Vincenza, the owner and his Beautiful mother, Mrs. Lydia treated us with so much love and care that I finally felt what it must be like in an Italian family! Upon arrival Vincenza graciously met us at the bus stop and assisted with our luggage & our room was complimentary upgraded to a suite with a Breathtakingly Gorgeous views in the center of everything! It was my daughters birthday and upon request Vincenza reserved us a table at his sisters delectable restaurant, L'Abside. Not only did the chef prepare her special meal from but their family also sang happy birthday to her accompanied with a cake. It was very hard for humbled me not to cry! We also had delicious breakfast and Mrs. Lydia was our special angel who ensured that all of our needs were met. If you happen to be in the area please stay at this magnificently and beautiful property! I can personally guarantee you will NOT be disappointed! Lastly, when you are blessed to meet Mrs. Lydia please give her a great big hug from Debbie in Ohio!

Very nice and clean room.

Beautiful mansion in the centre of Amalfi. The mistress of the house is adorable as well as the staff. We were upgraded for free. Breakfast at the top on the terrace of the building. The Duplex suite decorated with great taste.

Magnificent people! Brand new rooms with ceramics of Vietri sul Mare… absolutely to visit and to try the welcome of Vincenzo and his very kind mother.

Perfect place to stay in Amalfi, great views and friendly hosts.

The best place to stay is on the Amalfi Coast.

Vincenzo and Maria have made our time seem more like a family visit than a hotel stay. Vincenzo has taken great care of us.

The service is professional but at the same time very friendly. — — — — — — — — — — — SERVICE: 10/10 + They have all the services you'd need: porter for your luggage, a valet for your car (who is a funny guy), umbrellas available for you in the lobby, etc. + The BREAKFAST was the BEST part of it all! You can choose from wide selection of local hams, cheeses, breads, salads, juices, fruits and veggies, 4 or 5 different marmalades, brioches, cereals, cheesecakes, scrambled/boiled eggs, ham-rolls; you name it, they have it! Cappuccino was delicious as well! Plus you are eating on a marvellous rooftop terrace with amazing views! — To be objective: The breakfast was the same every day, but always fresh. Besides, with that much to choose from it is no problem at all. I found a hair in my ham-roll, but that happens. No biggie here. Really, the breakfast couldn't be better! — — — — — — — — — — — AMENITIES: 10/10 + Beautifully decorated building in mediterranean style with a romantic touch to it — classy! + Flipflops, bath robe and an ice-bucket with cold Prosecco is awaiting you in your suite — lovely!

We can't fault Vincenzo, Maria & Mamma for their welcome, assistance and overall friendliness. We stayed 3 nights in the double ensuite room on the top floor, next to the breakfast area. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view of the duomo/cathedral from our small balcony. At night it was a little noisy with the balcony door open (especially over a crazy bank holiday) but there was double glazing and air-conditioning so not really a problem. You also can't expect serenity in the middle of such a town! And it is, the Residence is right in the throbbing heart of Amalfi yet at the same time you are able to glean a form of peace and quiet some 5 stories up with a bonus of that fantastic view! We would stay here again.

Beautiful little place to stay in Amalfi. Friendly welcoming owners. Luxurious split level room with cute balcony. Wonderful breakfast up in the roof, shame it was nt the season to eat on the terrace.

It's new, the room where we stayed very large, clean and with all the comforts. Nice view from the small balcony on the main street of Amalfi. The breakfast is rich, sweet and salty … fresh and clean. Dear Mrs. Who welcomed us, always with a smile on his face.
I would certainly recommend this bed and breakfast for a stay in Amalfi!
