Problem with the parking service, really a disappointment, the guests wait about 50 minutes for the return of the car something unworthy of this hotel, the rest all great from lunch to waiter service, but a real disservice not knowing how to organize the return of the car after the bride spent an exaggerated amount for this service. Improve thank you!

We loved our stay at the NH Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi, a luxury hotel in Amalfi with amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea. Formerly a convent, it's been beautifully restored. There's a lovely outdoor terrace, 13th century cloisters, an amazing infinity pool and a fine dining restaurant. You can follow The Monks' Walk through the fragrant lemon trees. It's such a lovely and romantic place to stay.

Breathtaking views, unique atmosphere, corners of the former Convent that still live in the structure and give a magic and a special atmosphere! Excellent services and very professional and attentive staff. Great restaurant and looked after in every detail. More than dinner it was a dream experience admiring the coast from above. Amazing dishes that make you remember. Absolutely recommended, among the best in the area.

This excellent hotel has it all! Attentive, friendly staff, heavenly view, infinity pool join the blue sky n blue sea. The food is super fresh and yummy. The location is prefect just few mins walk to the town center. 15 mins by car to Ravello for a day trip. Book your room to go to this heavenly hotel.

Room was low quality beds are horrid bathroom is pretty terrible too. The shower opens the wrong way shower head is falling off and stains all over. The toilet doesn’t work half the time smell of mold whenever ac kicks on. The food served is not great then only some of the staff members are nice. Overpaying for a room that is made for one person but they put all three of us in. Overall this hotel is a waste of time and money.

Hotel is amazing so many different area to rest and chill. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff are brilliant can't do enough to help and already been made to feel welcome in the 1st day. The restraunt at night serves exceptional quality of food l. Can't not find anything wrong with the place highly recommend.

Spaces and capacity
There are many spaces at your disposal: the elegant restaurant Dei Cappuccini, with its spectacular terrace overlooking the sea, will be the exclusive setting for your wedding banquet, with the possibility of hosting about 90 people. You can take in the beautiful view of Amalfi, or enjoy a leisurely dinner.
Recently renovated, the hotel offers numerous functional rooms to accommodate the various moments of the day and a private chapel where to celebrate the rite on-site.

We spent 4 days there. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The restaurant was awesome and the service appeared to be fantastic. However in traveling you want to be safe, not have to worry about your belongings and not have to watch yourself continuously and you need to be able to easily communicate with your businesses via internet. The internet was horribly slow and made you have to spend a huge part of what time you had there sitting waiting for horribly slow internet whether you paid for it or took the free one, if it even worked. If you are paying what you push for this horribly overpriced hotel, you should get free high speed internet. Then, you should not worry about your belongings. I left the room safe unlocked for a very short time between Saturday and Sunday of about 1-2 hours. I left 3000 in cash that I always carry with me for emergencies and have carried it for about 10 yrs in hundreds of hotels. It was not sitting out in the open. It was in the safe hidden under my lap top and passports in the very back with the door closed but unfortunately not locked. Someone in the hotel went into the room and obviously checks the safes as they clean and turn down beds to see if it is open because when we got ready to leave Monday morning and I unlocked it that morning, the 30 100 dollar bills hidden under the lap top computer were gone.

The staff is amazing, the setting couldn't be better, and the ancient convent has everything a traveler could hope for. Stunning views, infinity pool overlooking the ocean, valet parking, a shuttle into town, lemon trees and flowers growing everywhere…

Magical hotel with breathtaking views. Minimalistic decor but who needs decor with such views outside? Expensive but worth the money. The breakfast buffet was varied with lots of fresh and healthy choices. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the "city" although it is a 10 minute walk away but sometimes it was convenient to take the shuttle because the roads are so tiny and busy with cars. We had a great stay and definitely recommend it if you are not restricted with budget.

The service is exceptional, we arrived 5hrs before our check in time, we were sitted for our complementary brunch while they did the paper work and they were able to give us our room 3 hrs before check in time. The spa is well priced for a 5 star hotel, Sonia the spa manager gave a wonderful facial. The restaurant has great service and the seafood is delicious. Treat yourself to a beautiful panoramic view of Amalfi in 5 star service and setting hotel.

If one does not want to enter with the elevator must make an outside staircase and dirty rooms suitable for the former Friars breakfast not for what you pay bus service to the center of Amalfi Good view of the sea from the Terrace fantastic breakfast dearest for that that give you.

We got married at the hotel and it was the most perfect experience. The venue is stunning, the food was magnificent, and the staff were out of this world. So attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The whole wedding from the day we arrived to the day we left could not have been better.

One PEI few five star hotels in the NH chain in Italy. Located one step from the centre of Amalfi, it has a small parking lot reserved for up to 4-5 cars. The road floor is greeted by the Puducode who retrieves the luggage and invites you to climb to the upper floors. Through a lift that climbs through the rock you get to the bottom floor of the hotel. From here on foot or with a second elevator you get to the reception. This fantastic hotel has a gym, massage centre and a large outdoor swimming pool. Fantastic view of the port of Amalfi and the walk that connects the hotel to the pool area. Inside also a small chapel used for ceremonies and weddings.

Absolutely wonderful and the most exquisite hotel experience I've ever encountered. We stayed here in December for our honeymoon, and from start to finish it was just lovely. Flavia greeted us warmly upon arrival and gave us tons of helpful information, maps, tips and dinner and car reservations. The all white interiors with brick floors make everything seem very elegant and clean. The views and hotel itself were unbeatable. Even though it rained for part of our stay, the hotel had pasta cooking classes and limoncello classes and afternoon tea and plenty to look at to keep us busy. The restaurant in the hotel had the best breakfast and dinner that we experienced on our entire honeymoon. They really make service an art form and make you feel like royalty. They grow most of their ingredients in their own hotel garden, so the food and flavors are unbelievably fresh. If we ever visit the Amalfi coast again we will return to this lovely hotel.

Five star hotel with an amazing view of the coast. Staff is very knowledgeable of the area and had perfect recommends for both dinner and day trips. Would 100% recommend and stay at again.

The views, just the views. You're probably looking at this hotel for the pool, which is exceptional and has one of the most spectacular scenescapes I've ever seen. The terrace to drink coffee or alcohol is exquisite, and the rooms are well kept. The convent part of the hotel is only a small walkthrough area, but if you are looking for the best view in Amalfi you've got it.

The hotel was immaculate. The staff were friendly and conducive to our needs. They were patient with the language barrier amd the food was amazing.

This was our last stop on a tour of the Amalfi coast where we planned to relax in luxury after a busy week touring. Initial impressions were great, the porters stopped the traffic and parked our car immediately and soon got our luggage upstairs ready for check in. As we were early our room was not ready but we were given welcome drinks and the option of using the hotel facilities which we took full advantage of by swimming in the glorious infinity pool. The location of the hotel is perfect — up high on the hillside with great views and only a short walk from the town or you can catch the free shuttle bus which runs every hour. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, it’s a nice touch that they kept some of the original monastery architecture in place. Staff were also wonderful, so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much of a problem. So why did this hotel fall short for me? For the price I paid I expected to be wowed and despite booking a superior room I felt I had walked into a £50 a night Travel Lodge. It was clean and the bathroom was nice but we were basically squashed into a tiny box room. There wasn’t a balcony or full length doors to open and admire the view, everything was white like a hospital and there was nothing of luxury in the room, very disappointing! I found the parking at €25 a night very expensive as was the breakfast charge although the breakfast was very good.

I love this hotel! It has the best views, location and staff in Amalfi. Every morning we ate breakfast in the beautiful sun drenched dining room and balcony with views to die for. The food was fabulous and Alfonso, Kristian and the staff were exceptionally polite, courteous and thoughtful. We were provided with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay, and the gym came in handy to work off some extra kilojoules. I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to stay in Amalfi and enjoy a little bit of luxury with stunning views.

Originally an ancient monastery and then a venerable old hotel. Now a modern hotel in a cool and historic building. It takes some time to absorb the beauty of the place and the views. Easy access from the main road through a tunnel and up an elevator through the cliff. Reach the town of Amalfi by foot two different and amazing and fairly short ways: through the village or by the sea. Steps are involved as is the case with everything on the coast. Your legs will get stronger.

We stayed here during our honeymoon and it was a PHENOMENAL experience! The hotel itself is GORGEOUS! It used to be an old convent but has been completely remodeled. They still kept a lot of the original architecture which was breathtaking. Infinity pool was beautiful just like in the pictures. The staff was so friendly and we felt like family with them by the time we left. Paolo, Alfonso, Roberto, and Francesco were the BEST! Every morning when we came down for breakfast they were there to welcome us with a smile and warm greeting. The food in the hotel restaurant was delicious (we had dinner 3 out of our 9 nights in the hotel). However, the room service food always seemed to be sub-par; which was confusing because every meal (breakfast, lunch and dinner) we had IN the dining room was so delicious. On our last few nights the concierge had developed a list of activities that they placed in the guests rooms. It was something new they were trying out and we welcomed it as there is not a ton to do at the hotel besides the spa and pool. We took part in the Wine Tasting with Massimo, the sommelier. It was fun and very informative. The wine tasting also gave us the opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Overall we had a great experience and the staff really made us feel welcomed and made our honeymoon memorable.

Hotel with a good location nevertheless their employees collaborate with gangsters and thugs (in the so-called "parking"). I would not recommend this hotel.

Stunning views, great historical location with easy access to Amalfi via the back alley ways as well as onsite garage for those driving… The aircon was quite lacking in the room so was glad to be staying in warm rather than hot days. The staff was however very attentive and good. Go for a room with a terrace. The hotel was also good enough to give passes for the private beach in Amalfi in view that the pool was not functional.

Best views of Amalfi, beautifully renovated Convent, clean white spaces, luxury breakfasts. Highly recommend for the more discerning travellers.

I loved this hotel… Anywhere from all the history behind it to the amazing beauty of the hotel and its surroundings. The staff is so friendly and happy… we loved joking around with them. I totally recommend staying at this hotel.

We were accomodated when our travel plans changed and we came to Amalfi a day early. The location is perfect, but not easy to get to. Service and staff was exceptional. Food was amazing, probably one of our favorite meals, although most expensive at $250 euro for two, but well worth it. Room was bigger than expected, clean, and well maintained. Would come back for sure!
