Structure located in the center of Scalea, a few steps from all the services of this center. Beautiful and comfortable and technologically advanced, as well as very clean. Very quiet inside. The owner and his wife are exquisite, good and honest, as well as nice. Their expertise and knowledge of the area allowed us to address a serious problem that happened to us, going beyond their duties as hosts. Everything perfect BRAVI BRAVI BRAVI. See you soon. I wouldn't go back, I'll tell you about my personal experience, perhaps a little unfortunate. There is no question about the kindness and courtesy of Michele and his partner, but unfortunately we were very unlucky with the room.
As soon as we arrive I go to the bathroom to wash my hands and I notice an ant on the towel and, dropping the ant on the floor, I realize that the floor was full of fur, hair, dead insects and ants. I immediately called the owner who was also quite amazed by the dirt and immediately cleaned the room (despite the cleaning the ants remained, in smaller quantities but they were there, obviously notified to the owner). We were forced to leave the room and wait an hour and a half, ruining our plans for the evening. The next morning we realize that the room was not soundproof, in fact I woke up due to a conversation at reception (our room was next door) ; Waking up early in the morning (on holiday) to other people's conversations isn't the best thing, okay. And finally, last but not least, the ventilation system didn't work and we died of heat.
I repeat, this is my experience, we decided to book here due to the very positive reviews but unfortunately mine cannot be so, a gesture to remedy these not insignificant inconveniences which affected our weekend would have been appreciated.

The bb opened in August 2023 is located facing the sea (100/150 meters), adjacent to the historic center and close to every service.
It is furnished with care and with a young eye.
You can still smell the new.
The room, on the first floor, is very large, well furnished and clean.
The owners are two young, kind and helpful people. I wish them all the best for their new business.

We stayed three nights at Casa Marinari, a brand new structure, recently renovated respecting the architecture of the place, a small jewel finely set in the Scalao setting. The room on the first floor with balcony overlooks the small square which gives it space and airiness. The strategic position a few steps from the sea and the historic center. Miriana is careful in providing information on places of interest and places to eat, as well as on the needs of the guests. In short, a completely relaxing and comfortable holiday. Highly recommended.
