We spent serene and relaxing days away from the chaos in a very beautiful, genuine place with exquisite and very hospitable people. The Panetta Family manages the Masseria with professionalism in an atmosphere of calm, care and respect for guests. Very good food, I do not forget the rich savory breakfasts (I am greedy) and the desserts made in Masseria.
Obviously all with a dream sea, in short, they really pampered us.

Just back, beautiful place in the middle of the orange groves and as a soundtrack the singing of birds and the chirping of cicadas. The whole Panetta family very helpful and friendly. The possibility of cycling to the beach made us appreciate the place even more. The beach is very large and the umbrellas spaced apart. We had a great time! Thank you all!

A week of July in full relaxation, rooms and environments clean and spaced apart. Choice between the large and beautiful beach and the well-clean pool, surrounded by greenery. A caring and attentive service, friendly and kind. Well-prepared and delicious food. Even a cinema to cheer the evenings. Rooms and spaces immersed in citrus. In the evening the song of the axe accompanied us in the observation of the sky, dark and clear.
I could gladly observe the comet Neowise with the naked eye.

Beautiful place! We were there years ago! When there was still no pool and lido and already it was great! Amazing cuisine.

Also this year we were guests at Masseria Macchia, as always excellent welcome of the Panetta family but above all great relaxation in perfect safety. Try to believe!

For those looking for relaxation, tranquility and more this farm is the TOP. Beautiful location! Large spaces with trees of fabulous oranges, olive trees and more. Just three km clean private beach can be reached either by bike or by a vehicle provided by the property'Restaurant with amazing breakfast and dinner service. Genuine cuisine worked with their products that they grow in their land. My wife was overjoyed at the attention of the kitchen staff towards her with dishes prepared without GLUTINEin as she is celiac. We really relaxed, congratulations to the property' for their conduct and kindness towards us. Matera, Craco, Pisticci and other beautiful areas to visit! This is Basilicata! ❤️

Unforgettable vacation! A lovely place with exclusive services: private beach (with shuttle service included), SPA, bicycles, swimming pool with salt water and much more. The owners are discrete, available and kind, especially Renato and Cosimo always ready to satisfy our every need and also very caring and affectionate with our little Frederick. Masseria Macchia has been a pleasant discovery.

We just got back, my wife and I, after two weeks of vacation. What about it? Beautiful, really beautiful! Lovely place nestled in the green of a citrus fruit. Really great and varied food (perhaps a little more flavorful given the area) and the hearty breakfast with always fresh juice of the oranges of the cultivation (maybe insert some brioches). The staff? We've seen few people work so well. The girls in the room always smile and busy. Magnificent beach with a lot of space, the new services with showers and a lifeguard, Francesco, who we never saw stopped even in his break and just lacked to see him clean the beach with the broom as well as pass it with the net for residue. With a bus driver taking us to the beach always impeccable and a vehicle always clean. A big thank you to the Panetta family for all this, and a big thank you to Mrs. Mary for the advice on the visit to Matera… I recommend this beautiful experience to everyone! Will we be back? Definitely!

The location completely immersed in nature, surrounded by huge expanses of orange groves, lends itself perfectly to a relaxing couple weekend.
We were greeted and pampered by the staff from the first moment. The property offers all possible comforts: swimming pool; wellness path with hot tub, sauna, steam room and sensory shower; a cinema room; private and equipped beach accessible by shuttle service or autonomously with bikes specially made available for guests; hearty breakfast and dinner full of typical southern Italian dishes; clean rooms and especially provided with mosquito nets, necessary in maritime locations.

My husband and I stayed in the Masseria for 10 days. Very nice Location, impeccable services, staff always helpful, friendly and smiling and then what about the owners, Messrs. Panetta, the perfect hosts always ready to meet the needs of the guests. With them you feel in the family!

Structure to consider not only for the classic seaside holiday, but also if you want to discover the Basilicata and in particular the archaeological sites and the city of Matera for which we had included in the package also a guided tour.

This year I wanted to repeat the experience of a holiday to the masses driven by a good memory of a few years ago, I risked, usually the second time does not leave you so good sensations, at least for me character is so. But, very happy, it was very pleasant, nothing has changed. The farm is an oasis in the desert, perfect relaxation in nature. Excellent maintenance and care of all the facilities, the valuable care even of small details such as the right music that accompanies breakfast or dinner. The cuisine is always excellent, varies and abundant, you try to please everyone even with delicious vegetarian preparations, important to insert dishes of the Lucan tradition it is nice to maintain these traditions. The beach and the sea are lovely, crossing the pine forest and breathing in the smells while cycling you reach them.
All the staff carefully chosen, kind and polite, always available. Mrs. Maria is a perfect hostess.

A perfect oasis of relaxation immersed in the green of Basilicata. Comfortable rooms, excellent cuisine full of typical products and many services to make the holiday relaxing but not boring. A swimming pool A few steps from the rooms and a beautiful private beach reachable by shuttle or bicycle (I recommend it, it was really very pleasant). Ideal for families but also for younger children looking for a moment of relaxation.

A simply fantastic place!

Tranquillity and peace characterize the Masseria, where the citrus groves and the long avenue of Eucalyptus makes us plunge into a halo of other times. The private beach is very comfortable and the spaces between an umbrella and the other are very wide. For breakfast do not miss the orange tart simply fenomenle. For the dinner all great and the staff Nice. Great place for kids.
I do not put five stars because as it is my habit it is right to think that we can do better.

Àbbìamo spent 4 days in this beautiful structure immersed in greenery and silence. Spacious rooms furnished with simplicity but very functional, with mosquito nets and umbrella available (which unfortunately to us is served), half-board service with great cuisine (breakfast buffet with homemade pastries, dinner with cold Anripas, first courses and Fruit/Sweet Buffet, hot appetizers and seconds served at the table), swimming pool, beach about 3 km with shuttle service every hour if you do not want to take the bikes supplied. The thing that we liked the most was the tranquility of the beach: no loud music, no animators who want to force you to make some stupid game, umbrellas very distant from each other. All in all, sea sea! We will definitely be back.

The Easter weekend despite the weather not just spring it was pleasant, not only for the guided tour that masseria offered us, but especially for the amenities of the place that has literally immersed in a pleasant relax of which felt the need.
Everything was as we wanted, excellent light cuisine and genuinely traditional and Spa that has pampered increasing made sense of tranquility that all farm was also welcome, sara genteel instills owners and friendly service at the restaurant, but I certainly couldn't hope for better, highly recommended, we will most definitely. On hearing about so much by Matera lately prompted us to spend our Easter holidays in Basilicata, we found this farm by chance but being able to go for free visiting Matera prompted us to choose the campaign. Had the weather was not the best and not let us enjoy the beautiful colors of the countryside because this was already beautiful that way, let alone with the Sun!
The rooms are very comfortable and there was a direct access to the Spa more comfortable! You eat a lot and very good, simple and genuine dishes, what we were looking for.

Ideal place for families with children, who can run around without any risk, together with many other children. Great beach and shore for the safety and enjoyment of children. Cook really good, simple but very often vegetarian cuisine full of good ideas. Holder a little too full of himself but just don't give him rope, while his wife and children are very friendly and professional.
Basilicata is truly a place to be discovered.

Luckily we spent the vacation we wanted, two weeks at Masseria Macchia they we proceed on to face a new year. I say lucky because in past years we've had several setbacks. Everything seemed perfect and then once you get so many things weren't getting along. All this is not happening to masseria macchia, perhaps also because the family always present and active in orrganizzare its employees causes the host live serenely its longed-for vacation. Well done! will definitely be back next year.
